Upon finally recognizing last night that my younger brother was retiring to his bedroom darned close to 12:30 a.m., I rose and dressed; and when the 'coast was clear', I came here to my computer to successfully accomplish some work, remaining up until nearly 5 a.m.
My eldest stepson is on a graveyard shift this week and thus was not home, but his younger brother was still up when I rose, and probably did not seek his own bed until as late as 3 a.m.
One thing I accomplished while I was up was to 'bite the bullet' and pay in full (online) our annual home insurance that was due today: $1,442.
My eldest stepson knew several days ago that this payment was due, but thus far he and his brother have ventured no assistance. I expect that with the monthly mortgage coming due on the 22nd, and then the monstrous annual property taxes next up come July 2nd or so, their voluntary participation is looking far too dear.
I know my brother isn't keen on having to pay half of the home insurance, so I will accept his offer to pay a third of it.
Meantime, I will let my wife know once she is home later today sometime ─ I paid the bill with my income tax refund. However, I was saving that to put toward the property taxes in early July, and now I am unable to help much with that bill. By my stepsons not helping with that payment today, they are going to have to handle a huge share of the property tax payment as well as pay a good share of the monthly mortgage.
Both of them are employed, and buy fast food each and every day of the week ─ sometimes more than once a day. They can afford to do that; but not cut out such wastage to help with essential bills.
My morning today began around 8:30 a.m. ─ I was strangely unable to sleep any further. When I rose and dressed, and then emerged from my bedroom, my brother was still shut up in his own. It would seem that he was hitting the drink excessively hard last evening, and that was why he remained up as late as he did.
And last night I had suspected that to be the case.
We had a fairly rainy night; and there was even some this morning for a time. But the day dried out even though it remained cloudy.
As usual from around 10 a.m., I was to watch T.V. ─ primarily via our Android TV Box ─ with my brother until 1 p.m. or so. We finished up with an episode of Line of Duty ─ specifically, episode four of season six.
I have said it before, but I want to say it again: I really like the actress (Kelly Macdonald) portraying suspicious Detective Chief Inspector / Acting Detective Superintendent Joanne Davidson. I keep hoping that the character is going to turn out to be in a compromised position and is not wilfully a 'bent copper'.
I had actually intended to watch a 2017 Brazilian movie this morning, but my brother announced that he had recently seen it on his own. Consequently, I will have to find the time to watch it on my own as well, so I want to begin doing so this evening, for I doubt I will be able to have the time to watch it in its entirely in one sitting ─ but we shall see.
In fact, perhaps I will curtail this post to help add some viewing time.
And with that in mind, I will at least offer the following article by a successful American "electrical engineering and computer science" technologist whom Wikipedia describes as a "serial entrepreneur" as a result of his successes in the field.
The man is Steve Kirsch, and the article is his expression of regret at having gotten himself (and maybe his three daughters) 'vaccinated' with the Moderna poison before he did any research on it, for he had always been pro-vaccine and trusted the government was taking the proper measures with the COVID-19 'vaccines'.
Too late, he found out that the government and everyone involved in the 'vaccines' have been deceptive. As he says, once 'vaccinated', one cannot become 'unvaccinated' ─ there is no undoing the error.
