πŸ’€πŸ’€πŸ’€ Some Thoughts on Gotham's Series Finale

I cannot much longer bear living with myself.

Another afternoon of vile sordidness.

Apropos of nothing relating to the above, a couple of evenings back my younger brother and I watched the series finale of Gotham.

How unexpected but logical that two key characters were played by entirely new actors. It was of course unfair to them, but there was no believable means of ageing by a decade both Camren Bicondova as Selena / Catwoman, nor David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne.

Wikipedia says that Camren somehow herself made the decision not to be in the series finale ─ why the heck would she do that?

Anyway, in the decade that had passed in the time frame of that series finale, Selena had evidently grown a few inches taller, and had lost Camren's...well, I'll just describe it as some central stockiness.

As Catwoman, Camren seemed to me to be getting a wee bit thick in the hips and midsection in her tight outfit. Nothing at all unpleasant, mind you! But I noticed it of late.

As for David, the finale did not have the character Bruce Wayne actually appear in it, but Batman finally made some appearances. David is far too slim to fit the role of Batman, so someone else of much stouter frame was gotten to wear the costume.

I have nothing else to say in this post.
