Eleven-Minute Planks │ Chloe Michelle Williams │ Doing 'the Shuffle' to a Pair of Elvis Presley Hits

My younger brother got a call from his girlfriend Bev during the noon hour yesterday ─ she was at work, but feeling so unwell that she wanted him to come and take her to the hospital.

When he returned very early in the evening, he said that she was still at the hospital having various tests done. One of her chronic issues is very high blood pressure (she's in her earliest 50s by way of age).

He had sent her a few texts before he came home, but had not gotten any response.

He was unusually sober. And he refrained from doing any drinking now that he was home because she was going to need him to pick her up and take her home when the hospital was finished with her.

She finally gave him that alert to come and get her shortly after 9:00 p.m. We had been watching some episodes of T.V. shows that we follow through the medium of our T9 Android 8.1 TV box that I operate, and so it was an episode of Stranger Things that I put on hold in his absence.

Anyway, he performed his duty, and got Bev home. She apparently felt well enough by then that she said to him that she would return to work today.

With my brother so unusually sober of an evening, I accepted that I would be sitting up into the midnight hour operating our Android TV Box, and it was so. I even had two cans of the strong (8% alcohol) beer that I keep in supply.

Well, the beer, the late bedtime, and then the disturbance not 1½ hours later after my wife eventually came home, conspired to put me into extremely poor shape.

I rose while my wife was readying in the bathroom for bed ─ I seem to recall that it was only something like 1:44 a.m. However, I felt distinctly hungover, and I badly needed to micturate ─ that latter made it essential that I rise, for I was too dreadfully uncomfortable to remain abed.

Normally I would have gotten to work on whichever post I have in production at one of my six hosted websites, but I was far too 'under the weather.'

So all I did was grab a heavy blanket and go downstairs to the living room chesterfield, and there I managed some further sleep ─ I may have been there for as many as two hours. It definitely helped me, but I was still not in any condition to be working on that website.

Also, I was in no condition to try and plank ─ believe it or not, for the three previous consecutive days I managed to sustain planks just in excess (by maybe seven seconds) of 11 minutes!

In all, I have now performed four 11-minute planks within the past month ─ they are thus far my planking record for duration. And the notion that I managed to attain three of those planks on consecutive days rather amazes me.

There would be no planking attempted today.

Following my nap on the chesterfield, not too very much afterward I returned to bed.  Probably I dealt with my E-mail Inbox first.

Incidentally, my wife rose to use the bathroom just before I had vacated the living room, but I don't think she noticed that I was not at work at my computer in the small room just next to our bedroom.

After returning to my proper bed ─ possibly somewhere in the neighbourhood of 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. ─ I was able to sleep a little further, but I was awake well before 8:00 a.m., and so I decided to rise around then to finally get to work on that neglected website post.

I want to return to the subject of T.V. once again, for an evening or two ago my brother and I watched the final episode of The Mist.

There really ought to be some sort of obligation on networks to at least produce one further episode of a series to wrap up the damned thing. Leaving the whole series wide open with absolutely no resolution to anything whatsoever is an utter disservice to loyal viewers.

And on another matter, just before I went to bed last night after watching T.V. with my younger brother, I sent out the following E-mail to folks in my Address Book ─ you might find it interesting:
Chloe Michelle Williams

I came across the following article published at ThreePercenterNation.com on September 7, 2019 titled Father Refuses To Walk Daughter Down The Aisle And We Can’t Blame Him One Bit that was showcasing this video originally uploaded to YouTube on December 3, 2012:

The website's September 7 article is an example of some very lazy journalism.

Yes, it's an extremely touching video, as the comments by affected readers beneath the short article readily indicate.

But if the 'news' website did even a tiny bit of research along with their rush to get this brief article online, they would have uncovered the fact that Chloe Michelle Williams died at the age of 11 on July 14, 2016 after her four-year losing fight against her cancer.

See this July 21, 2016 article at Aplus.com: How The Life And Death Of An 11-Year-Old Girl I Never Met Changed Me.

Incidentally, that last website (A Plus) has actor Ashton Kutcher listed as its “Co-Founder, Chairman of The Board” in its About page.
It had annoyed me to a strong degree that the first website published its September 7 article and gave every impression that the story it was telling was something entirely current. Very shabby!

I am also considering sending forth links to a pair of videos featuring various very lovely young ladies dancing to two different Elvis hits.

The lassies are performing a type of dance commonly called "the shuffle," but apparently its full correct name is the Melbourne shuffle.

Some of these girls look absolutely amazing as they perform their bit.

I am not going to embed the YouTube videos because many videos are often pulled at YouTube, and the result of that happening with either of these two videos will be a useless video frame in my post.

So as long as the links remain viable, you can watch the two Elvis songs that are being danced to right here:

When I was a young man, if I had known any of these young ladies, I would have been madly and hopelessly in love!

Oh, gosh ─ it's already 7:15 p.m.

My younger brother went off this afternoon to hook up with one of his friends ─ a weekly thing they have going. When they do this, my brother tends not to get home again until into the latter evening.

This would mean that I can get to bed early. However, there is always the chance that they may finish up early, and he'll be home again before 9:00 p.m.

I draw the line at 9:00 p.m. ─ if he arrives home thereafter, I will have nothing to do with him because by then I fully expect that he's likely ridiculously inebriated and not worth sitting up and trying to watch any T.V. with.

On the slim chance that he may arrive home before 9:00 p.m., I want to be done with this post.

I still have to have some supper and be all set for bed if he is later arriving home, for I want to be able to hasten to bed in short order if he shows up very soon after 9:00 p.m. Since 9:00 p.m. is the cut-off, it matters not to me if he is home even a minute or two later ─ I want to be all set to hie myself to bed as soon as I am aware of his arrival.

My! I would love to see this girl dancing the shuffle!
