It seems to me now that I may have gotten to bed last evening at 8:38 p.m. My younger brother had arrived home around 8:10 p.m. from wherever he had been drinking, and spent some time outside hauling out the two wheelie bins to curbside for today's emptying, so I had time enough to grab what supper I wanted and brought it upstairs to my bedroom to eat behind a closed door.
I do not become involved with my brother when he comes home from the bar too much into the evening, for he will expect me to put our Android TV Box into operation and sit up with him in its operation watching T.V. shows. I don't have too very much objection to doing that. Rather, the rub for me is that he will pass out early into the first episode of whatever I put on and I will then have to shut things down and re-watch the episode at a later date so that he does not lose track of the series plot.
Thus, I have come to the decision to just not waste my time watching evening shows with him. I only watch T.V. from approximately 10:00 a.m. till 1 p.m. on weekdays. On the weekends, he has in recent weeks been too involved in NFL games to need my expertise with the Android TV Box (my brother does not understand its operation).
And so it was that I ate my supper in silence in my bedroom, and then I retired for the evening, thinking to do some napping and then rise during the midnight hour to eventually get to work adding content into the post I recently began at one of my two hosted websites. Towards that end, I was fully clothed, and covered over with just a blanket.
When I later became awake enough to wonder on the time, it was only something like 11:14 p.m. Normally I would remain in bed and seek to try and find a little more sleep, but I could hear my brother readying to come upstairs to his bedroom.
It was most unusual, but he was actually heading to his room for the night an hour earlier than he normally does.
However, I should have sat up with him watching T.V., as I was to later prove to myself.
Yes, I did get work done on that website post. But then I sat up in abysmal depravity for about 2½ hours and never made my return to bed until 5:44 a.m. And even then, there was some struggle quelling my self-recrimination enough to settle into some sleep.
Anon when I became awake and aware again and believed that I could hear the T.V. on downstairs, I checked the time and saw it to be just after 9:30 a.m., and so I hastily rose and dressed. I came here to my computer in the small room next to my bedroom, but I would soon enough be going downstairs to watch T.V. with my brother.
When I did, I had a couple of videos in mind starting off with the very latest one by Odessa Orlewicz of Liberty Talk Canada that had been posted to their YouTube account. The video we watched was Canadian & Global Frontline Nurses Speak Out which featured her interviewing three nurses (two Canadian and one American) who were all linked via Skype or some similar means.
I would have watched the video on their BitChute account, but they are a couple of videos behind in getting them uploaded there.
The video was over an hour and 20 minutes in length, but I followed it up regardless with a video at BitChute that was just over a half hour: Dr Roger Hodkinson Interview with Anna Brees, 29th November 2020. It wasn't revelatory, but it was nice seeing this much of the man behind that famous call-in he had made to a Calgary teleconference wherein he lambasted all who were behind the perpetuation of the COVID-19 farce.
After that video, we managed to squeeze in an episode of one of the T.V. series we follow before my brother sought some bed rest ere busing away for the afternoon to hook up at a pub with a couple of his drinking buddies. He won't be getting back home this side of 9 p.m., so I will definitely be able to have a fairly early evening as well as some T.V. time first.
I think we've had a dry day out there where concerns the weather.
I fared far better than I feared I would with the poor sleep schedule I brought upon myself overnight, but I finally did have an afternoon nap ─ I was abed for a little over an hour in the latter afternoon following my first meal of the day.
By the way, my eldest stepson did transfer over $500 on behalf of himself and his younger brother early last evening to contribute towards the monthly mortgage that will probably be debited from my chequing account tomorrow. That was just enough to cover a shortfall, and will leave just under $5 in the account.
I wish to finish this post by commenting that now that Biden has been officially installed as U.S. President and Trump has vacated the post, I rather thought that all of the fanatics would fade out of sight who had religiously believed in Trump as some sort of saviour or messiah who was working out a 'master plan' of his own that would result in the undoing of just about everyone behind the massive worldwide Great Reset.
But that's not entirely so. Certainly, some are disheartened, of course; but others are continuing to defy defeat and are declaring that this, too, is all a part of Trump's 'master plan'.
I don't know what it's going to take.
When I was transcribing into my private blog the entry for today from exactly 40 years ago that I wrote back then in my personal journal, I had mentioned in that 40-year-old account that it was on this day back then (1981) that Ronald Reagan assumed the Presidency. Also, the 52 American hostages in Iran were freed.
So I have to say that it was a far happier day back then than today has been in the present.
