Man, I never left on last evening's walk until 9:30 p.m. or so ─ I find it so extremely disheartening to still have it light so deep into the evening. I wanted to see if I could be away before 7:30 p.m. if possible, but even at 8 p.m. with overcast skies it was still light out here in my part of Surrrey South Asia.
When I did go, well feeling the two cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol) that I had drunk during an episode of The Avengers, it was spitting a wee bit or rain. At one point the pavement was mottled with dampness. But it stopped.
I made my hike to the Green Timbers Liquor Store and chose to purchase two eight-packs and one 15-can case of Cariboo Malt. I knew that the trip back home would be a major stress in time, carrying the 15-pack in one tote bag (weight: about 12½ pounds) and the two six-packs (weight: about 10 pounds) in another tote bag, but I've been drinking more in a week lately than I am managing to resupply.
The bill came to some change over $50, but I tipped up to an even $55 ─ as if I can afford this! It is why I so badly want it to get dark early ─ I want to be able to leave here in darkness and still have time to hike to the nearest government liquor store two miles away before its 9 p.m. closure. I won't feel obligated to be tipping there!
Anyway, I got the 27 cans of beer home, but not before my left foot's arch near the heel began to worry me with some pain. Back in the Spring I hiked home two dozen cans of beer and was affected with a crippling issue for what seemed a couple of months ─ I do not want that state again! Fortunately today, I have not noticed any sensitivity here in the house.
My drunken brother was of course watching T.V. After I soon enough joined him and was given the green light to put our Android TV Box to work, we were to only watch one show before he called it a night.
The show was Wanted ─ "Episode 5" of season two. I certainly do enjoy this series.
I only drank one further can of Cariboo Malt, but I am a little unsure if I was to bed by 2 a.m. Just as I was readying, though, I heard my wife finally coming into the house after having worked at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.
I could also hear some sounds of light rain.
Unfortunately this morning I woke much too early, finally checking the time around 7 a.m. and rising just to use the toilet. It was too early to be getting up for the morning, so I tried for more sleep and at least achieved a vegetative state eventually, not checking the time again until well past 8 a.m.
Maybe it was close to 9 a.m. ─ I cannot remember.
I needn't have been concerned of my brother nor my wife rising any time soon. She had the day off work, and had some early afternoon dental work ─ possibly a little surgery ─ scheduled.
My brother never emerged from his bedroom until maybe around 10:30 a.m. ─ I am quite sure it was past 10 a.m., at any rate. By then I had used our Android TV Box to tune in a 1¼-hour (1:19:27) video published September 8 to Rumble's A Warrior Calls channel: YOU WILL BE LIVID WATCHING THIS / POLICE IGNORANT THUGS WORLDWIDE.

The video took us almost to 11:30 a.m., so I tuned in a fairly short (22:45) documentary on BitChute, but the documentary has all manner of sources, and I no longer know which one I used. Let's just cite this one published earlier today: The Truth About the COVID-19 Shots.
Terrific new Australian documentary!

At its conclusion my brother sought further bed rest. I was feeling rather fussy about eating anything, so I only had a peach and a can of sardines and then pursued a nap. The morning had been quite damp, with some very light rain.
My brother was gone when I next rose, and my wife was shut up in her bedroom after getting back from her dental appointment ─ I expect that she was seeking escape into sleep from her treatment.
She and I had scant communication. She spent her free time watching videos on her smartphone or tablet. I worked on today's blog post and ─ since this was a bath day ─ broke for some activities personal to me.
The latter afternoon sky began clearing somewhat, and I noticed a little weak early evening sunshine.
Around that time I took another break from blogging and such to watch Batwoman while supping ─ my first actual meal of the day ─ and then enjoying a Cariboo Malt. I watched season three's episode five ("A Lesson from Professor Pyg"), and I quite enjoyed it.
This season has been the best of the lot ─ the episodes are so much darker. And I'm enjoying seeing some humanity in character Alice ─ I hope the writers don't revert her to whatever the heck she was before.
Apparently I quit the T.V. just in time ─ maybe 7:50 p.m. I came back upstairs and was finishing up brushing my teeth in the bathroom. Then I heard the telltale guttural sounds of my overweight brother labouring up the stairs to his bedroom, where he probably inadvertently slammed the door shut; and quite soon thereafter he must have staggered about and nearly fell, for there was a fair ruckus.
Thankfully I will not be watching T.V. late this evening with him, but I do pity my wife who has meantime been busy in the kitchen, likely unaware that the besotted lout is home.
Why is this all he has ambition to do? That is, to get plastered every single day of his aimless life.
I have an early a.m. five-mile+ walk scheduled overnight that I intend to rise at 1:30 a.m. to ready for, so I will seek to be to bed no later than 9:30 p.m. At present, it is 8:21 p.m., so I am going to deem this post finished, and have the remaining while ere my planned bedtime for winding down and wrapping things up.
I think my brother must have passed out in his bedroom just as he did after getting home yesterday evening. Such a waste of life.
