Inside the Outbreak

Last night was a late one indeed.

Following my brother's invitation to come downstairs to operate our Android TV Box and watch some T.V. with him after he had seen Bev to their bedroom for the night, we were to watch the following shows in this sequence beginning at around 10:30 p.m.:

I felt compelled to tune in Workin' Moms at this OK.ru link because earlier this week the streaming app I used to supposedly watch that episode instead provided an episode from four seasons into the future, and I of course had no idea until afterwards.

I hadn't planned on us watching 1923, but my brother requested it; so because of his selfless service to me early that morning, I complied to his request.

Over the course of the evening / night I drank three cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol). Memory is now fuzzy, but it may have been 2 a.m. before I got to bed.

I was a little surprised this morning after waking and checking the time to discover it to be 9:15 a.m. My brother was not yet up, but I did not go downstairs to 'claim' the T.V. because I always have a few things to do here at my bedside computer first.

Consequently he was to emerge from his bedroom before I was done. Fortunately, though, he was not interested in what he had tuned in, so he straight off asked me to operate our Android TV Box.

We sampled one video, but it was garbage by our verdicts, so I tuned in one that exceeded two hours (2:04:12) and had been published yesterday to BitChute's Banned YouTube Videos channel: Measles : Inside The Outbreak | The Highwire.

The Fight to Regenerate Asheville; Jefferey Jaxen delivers reports on the bird flu saga, plus, a deep dive into the link between obesity and immune function, and the latest on Dr. Dave Weldon’s nomination for CDC Chief; Dr. Richard Bartlett joins Del in-studio to share his firsthand experience treating children during the West Texas measles outbreak.

Guests: Keresey Pearl, Briana Pond, Dr. Richard Bartlett

This one we enjoyed! And it was the only video we were to watch, for it ended after 11:30 a.m. and my brother was set for some bed rest.

I don't believe I sought my early afternoon nap until well beyond 2 p.m., by which time my brother had left to catch a bus to go and play pool and drink beer at Donegal's Irish House.

I am stuck on what I should do this evening. With my buggered right knee keeping me home, I have no reason to be getting up very early in the wee a.m. I know I ought to have the knee appraised at Surrey Memorial Hospital, but I just don't have it in me at present to endure that long, long visit.

Maybe I will behave tomorrow evening after giving myself one further day of 'healing', get to bed fairly early that evening, and rise around 3 a.m. to see if I can walk the six or seven blocks to the hospital. If I am able, that ought to best ensure a less populated emergency ward, and maybe I won't need to be spending 13 hours there before a physician finally sees me.

Besides, tomorrow is a bath day, so it will have me nice and fresh for Sunday.

I am going to pause this post now so that I can rest my eyes from this computer screen. It is nearing 8 p.m.

My youngest stepson surprised me with at least a half dozen decent sized chunks of boneless chicken cooked in a red sweet possible honey sauce. I might not have otherwise supped this evening.

When well past 9 p.m. my brother had still not arrived home, I shut myself up in my bedroom and watched 9-1-1: Lone Star ─ episode one ("Both Sides, Now") of season five. I got a kick out of seeing Parker Young guest-starring as a Texas Ranger ─ I came to really like the actor in the T.V. series Imposter.

If interested, I watched the episode on my bedside computer via this OK.ru link.

I reckon my brother is home, but I am going to surreptitiously use the bathroom and get myself to bed ─ maybe I can try a wee a.m. walk for a few blocks to see how my unstable knee handles the challenge. I only drank one can of Cariboo Malt.

It is presently 10:30 p.m.
