Killers of Men

It is already nearly 8 p.m., so I must abbreviate this post. My younger brother returned around 6:45 p.m. via public transit from his daily social drinking, and it was just then that I decided to delay no longer my scheduled bath ─ a most tedious waste of time, I feel.

To be succinct concerning my day, I had my early mile or so walk to work my damaged right leg, rising at 2:38 a.m. and thus not requiring my 3 a.m. cellphone alarm.

I managed to get back to bed by 5 a.m., and remained there until well past 8:30 a.m. ─ I think it was nearer 9 a.m.

Upon joining my brother for T.V. and getting his invitation to put our Android TV Box into action, I led us off with a 21-minute (21:46) video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: How will they count your vote? + Tragedy in Vancouver.

I won't mention the second video ─ it was a bore, basically.

Third was a five-minute (4:54) video published yesterday to Rumble's klaTVEnglish channel: The new world order: Cyborgs as a weapon against citizens? | www.kla.tv/19767.

While the world is still in the middle of the Corona crisis, the extremely influential World Economic Forum, or WEF for short, already has concrete plans for how the world should develop afterwards. With the "Great Reset" and the related "Fourth Industrial Revolution" everything is intended to develop for the better.

Then it was a 15-minute (15:05) video published yesterday to BitChute's Progressive Truth Seekers channel: Don’t Believe A Word These Hypocrites Say On Climate Change – Neil Oliver.

U.S. EMPIRE - FOLLOW THE MONEY

The Jimmy Dore Show

Neil Oliver outlines the insufferable fools that are constructing the path to Agenda 2030 and the World Economic Forum dictates that form the baseline to “save the planet” from climate change.

Nothing less than our way of life is under threat now. A population distracted by propaganda about one existential threat after another – pandemics, nuclear war, climate crisis – is being herded into an unrecognizable future.

What was done in the name of Covid was grotesque – a violation of the rights of billions of people. Having seen what they can get away with, our so-called leaders have moved on, broadening their scope, as greedy for more as kids left unsupervised in a sweetie shop.

What is happening now, all around us, is the relentless erosion not just of our rights and liberties, but of our lives. It is so blatant – what’s happening – it’s hard to see it for what it is, which is bare-faced daylight robbery.

After Covid, the C-word that’s supposed to be on everyone’s lips… drummed into us night and day by the same complicit media that drives everything else… is climate – Climate crisis, in fact. Two c-words for the price of one.

After that came an 11-minute (11:52) video uploaded July 2, 2022, to YouTube's Dates and Dead Guys channel: KILLERS OF MEN: The Fierce Amazon Women Were Real?

The Amazons are legend in the history of Ancient Greece. Described as “the daughters of Ares.” And the “Equals of men” these women lived in their own villages, among which is their capital, Themyscira.  The city was said to be fortified on the Thermodon River. Here the women lived free of men but in a region inhabited by barbarians and man-eating cannibals who know no law or justice. They maintained their independence by being fierce warriors. The neighboring Scythians called them Oiorpata, meaning the “killers of men”. They were experts on the horse and with bows and Javelins. No man was permitted to stay in their cities. To maintain their population they captured men from neighboring tribes in order to conceive children. If a pregnancy resulted in a girl, she would be raised as a warrior. If it was a boy, it would be abandoned or killed. They don’t marry. To marry would mean they cease being an Amazon.

The description of the Amazons above was used in the opening of this episode. Questions exist to this day on whether they were myth or a real people. The Histories recorded tell an interesting story and recent archeological evidence is compelling. Watch the video and decide for yourself. Were the Amazons real? And if they were, what happened to them?

Thereafter we got into a movie, but had to cut it off deep into it so my brother could have some bed rest.

I had my day's first meal, but resisted seeking a nap because I wanted to give my brother a short shopping list if he was going to go shopping and said as much.

When he later emerged from his bedroom, he dallied longer just watching some T.V. with Bev, finally getting her to go upstairs to change clothes in order to come with him.

And they left, but he still had not said aught to me. All I could do was hope that a previous direction I gave him to buy me two litres of whipping cream any time he went shopping would be recalled. But I had to remain up to find out.

It was after 3 p.m. by the time he returned. And yes, I had cream! Finally ─ it feels like it's been 10 days or even two weeks!

It had begun raining in the morning, and was going pretty darned good when they left to shop. Nevertheless, the rain did not prevent him from heading off afoot for that bus so he could do some drinking.

In other news, my wife had a full work day today, so she emerged from her bedroom around 9:40 a.m. to shower and otherwise ready, and shortly after 10 a.m. left on her rather long drive.

Also, my monthly pension was directly deposited today.

I am going to break here at 8:17 p.m. and shut myself up in my bedroom to watch something here on my bedside computer while enjoying a Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol). My brother had his chance to enlist me to watch some of our shows downstairs, but he has failed to do that.

★★★

I gave a new (to me) series a shot ─ The Carrie Diaries. Obviously, it was the "Pilot" episode of season one. I was a tad reluctant to try it out, but danged if I didn't really enjoy it!

I had never before heard of lead actress AnnaSophia Robb, but she was a doll, and of course the reason I got so much enjoyment from the episode. But my fatherly persona was unhappy with choices her character was making, including not being put off by her older new Black city friend's nonchalance about shoplifting ─ I despise thieves.

It will be interesting to see how this new friend ─ Larissa ─ reacts upon learning that Carrie is only 16 and not some employed member of a law firm.

I was never into Sex and the City, although I may have watched some of it here and there for want of anything of more interest to me. As I remember, only actress Kim Cattrall was of much appeal to me.

I'm apparently enjoying The Carrie Diaries, so I reckon I will stick with it.

If interested, my source was this GOOJARA.to link, and it was flawless.

Bev and my brother are still watching T.V. downstairs, so I reckon I will just get to bed relatively early. As I said, he had his chance with me, and now I no longer feel like sitting up. I never had a second meal today, so that beer is being felt.

By the way, when I was stripped down for my bath, despite my earlier filling meal, I weighed something under 176 pounds.

I never exercised at all today, apart from that very early walk. My late nap screwed up everything ─ this is not something I can be doing on bath days because my damned baths consume so much time in themselves.

Enough blogging for today. It is 10 p.m., and as yet my wife is not home.
