It may have been around 2:30 a.m. before I was into bed last night ─ so strong is my pursuit for corruption when the madness is allowed unstinted reign.
Perhaps if my wife had shown up last afternoon or evening and been here spending the night, I might well have retired as did my younger brother after we watched T.V. into the midnight hour via our T9 Android 8.1 TV Box.
It was not within me to rise early to get a start on the day's content assignment at the post I have underway at one of my six hosted websites. That had to await my arisal (or arising) shortly after 7:00 a.m.
My youngest stepson was soon enough up ─ evidently he had to work today. Initially I thought it was his elder brother, but he had already gone before I rose.
Then ─ perhaps as late as 8:30 a.m. ─ my wife finally showed up. (She had spent the weekend elsewhere ─ such is my marriage.)
She would have to start her workday at her friend's Thai restaurant at 11;00 a.m., so she was not allowing herself much time to rest before leaving on her drive to get to work.

I can only hope that she had gotten some sleep earlier somewhere else.
Her homecoming was somewhat inconvenient for me, for I wanted to get my daily plank (the exercise) out of the way. For perhaps a month now, I have been making one a daily routine.
And then my younger brother was up, further restricting my chance for the feat. I was going to have to tackle it here in the small room upstairs where I keep my computer, but it would mean setting my chair atop some other clutter in order to yield the floor space.
I am presently enduring a six-minute daily plank ─ with a few extra seconds added on for the sake of overall sureness. Today, I actually added an extra 15 seconds.
And no, it was not easy to do.
Anon my wife did return to our bed to try and rest, and asked that I not rouse her as I often do around 10:00 a.m. She expressed that she had set her cellphone's alarm for a little after 10:00 a.m., since she had already showered and would not need to have that extra time to ready herself.
I finished my content assignment just after 10:00 a.m., and then went downstairs to fix up my day's first hot caffeinated beverage; and then I joined my brother in the living room to take over the T.V. by putting our Android TV Box to use (he doesn't understand how to operate it).
My wife managed to get herself up in comfortable enough time to get away on her drive to work.
My brother and I watched T.V. shows until around 1:00 p.m., and then he sought some bedrest ere taking off for the afternoon to end up drinking somewhere.
I had exercising scheduled for the backyard toolshed today, so I got at it while he was indisposed ─ I performed very well, I must say.
As I type these words at 4:41 p.m., it is very sunny outside and has been for some while, but other parts of the day have been overcast. If not for this blog post, I could be seated outside benefitting from the sunshine.
Earlier I had a nap after the meal that followed my exercising. My brother rose and left before I sought that nap.
I want to get out shortly to hike the four or so blocks to a Shoppers Drug Mart to buy a birthday card ─ tomorrow is the big day for my brother. I already have his gift ─ a 1.75-litre bottle of Scotch.
I am going to need to have a little rest before that errand ─ it's as much psychological as physical. It takes a lot for me to be public ─ I am a very, very private person.
I want to link to a rather provoking article that suggests that we may be misperceiving the value of a plant-based diet. It just may be that plants have developed various means of making themselves almost deleterious for our health, but it is so subtle that we are not really aware of it.
It's defensive on their part.
Ultimately, perhaps the numerous ─ in fact, uncountable ─ types of maladies that can be collected under the umbrella term of 'autoimmune disorder-based' are a reflection of this plant diet pathology that is too subtle to yet be seen as prime 'cause and effect.'
It's an argument in favour of the "nose-to-tail" carnivore diet:

At times the article becomes too technical for most of us, but I think that the gist should be apparent for all.
I close with a half-dozen photos taken in early June of last year during a trip my wife made to Rome to visit a sister of hers who has made Italy her second home.
My wife's digital camera's date setting for that trip had not been adjusted, so the time and date that are embedded within her photos' metadata are not accurate.
Nevertheless, we can still take June 7 (2018) as a very good approximation of when the photos were taken:
I wish you well....
