An Update on My Youngest Stepson (Back Last Evening After a Month Away to Thailand)

Very early last evening I sought a nap while I was home alone, but my unease was too great to allow me to relax. My wife had not worked that day and could be home at any time, as could my younger brother who had gone off to the bar in the afternoon.

As well, my youngest stepson was arriving at the Vancouver International Airport around 8:00 p.m. after being away for a month to his Thailand homeland. I only later learned that this was when his flight was due in ─ I had believed that it was scheduled to arrive at 7:30 p.m. or possibly even 7:00 p.m.

My eldest stepson finally showed up after I had risen ─ he does not often come home promptly after his day at work. It was he who informed me of the later flight ─ it was arriving later than scheduled.

He then showered, and while he was so occupied I got myself ready and walked over to the elementary school nearly a half mile from here to perform four sets of pull-ups on the gymnastics-style rings in its playground.

Well, you can imagine my fury to arrive there and find ─ just as I did Sunday evening ─ the same witless oaf seated in the dark on one of the swings, singing away to himself and breaking into conversation as freely as if he was there with someone else.

I couldn't understand a word.

Cursing to myself vehemently, I continued on through the school property and circumvented the area, returning via another access. I could still hear the damned fool, even though I could not see him in the dark distance. But I knew the school had a second playground on the opposite side of the building designed for the youngest students, and I hoped that something there might be serviceable to me.

I found another array of rings, but with chains that probably weren't even six inches in length; and the rings were so much lower to the ground that when I hung from them I had to have my lower legs bent at a 45º angle to avoid touching it.

The other rings would have been more difficult to pull myself up with because the longer chains did not remain in a stationary position like these much shorter chains did ─ the rings were practically rigid in place.

At least now I know I can use those rings if in the future I find that same fool loitering uselessly in the playground some evening.

When I arrived back home, it was simultaneous to my wife pulling into the driveway, so I assisted her in carrying some fare into the house. My younger brother was already home.

Obviously there would be no getting to bed early for me ─ especially with my youngest stepson having a homecoming.

As it was, he got home with a ride from his friend and travelling partner's mother ─ or so had predicted my eldest stepson, who was no longer up from bed when his younger sibling got home.

Naturally there was some initial hubbub when the 22-year-old lad walked in with his luggage.

He was to show my brother and I some cellphone video taken at the airport in Hong Kong where they had to face a six-hour layover on the return trip. One piece of recording showed some masked medical personnel in gowns administering to apparent Coronavirus victims who were stretched out on gurneys or something; and he also had footage of a masked man lying on the floor on his side in another area whom the lad said was subsequently entirely covered over with a blanket ─ apparently now deceased.

I would love to have both sets of video footage!

Anyway, I am sure I will have more to offer concerning the lad's trip in future posts.

I was a little pleased later when I noticed that my wife was quite caught up and watching much of three episodes of The Last Ship that I had tuned in via our T9 Android 8.1 TV Box for my brother and I to watch in the darkened living room.

They were definitely dramatic episodes from the final season, and now my brother and I just have two more episodes to go.

After those episodes when my wife left us, I tuned in the second season and apparent series finale of Midnight, Texas. The series ended abruptly with a new threat to the town Midnight strolling onto its streets ─ a figure decked out in full armour.

Wikipedia says that the show was cancelled by NBC, but the studio producing it were supposedly "shopping the series to other outlets."

A beautiful character named Patience in the final season who turned out to be evil was played by actress Jaime Ray Newman. When she still seemed to be good in earlier episodes, she was decked out like some irresistible backwoods Southern girl ─ briefest cutoffs, short and tight top showcasing her very ample breasts and bared taught belly, strawberry blonde or even red hair, milky skin, bright red lipstick, and that wonderful Southern drawl.

I thought that I had never seen any woman look more incredibly sexy than did she.

I see from  her "filmography" that I must have seen her before in several other productions, but I can't claim to remember her.

Something else that truly impressed me was just how wide she can open that awesomely delicious mouth of hers ─ it almost seemed like special effects had to have been introduced to enhance that phenomenal gape of hers.

I am going to do my best to keep her name in mind; and I would love to catch the couple of Christmas movies she has evidently been featured in.

I managed to get a screen capture of her, a more official photo that is disappointing because it isn't full-body, and a third photo unrelated to the T.V. series:

But moving on...as might be imagined, my bedtime was fairly late last night ─ 1:00 a.m., actually. Yet I had the most dreadful time getting to sleep, and that state was exacerbated because I felt so wretchedly uncomfortable there in bed. I almost felt like 'my skin was crawling'.

By 7:00 a.m. I decided to rise because my right nasal passageway had been entirely obstructed for some while and my breathing too impeded for me to relax easily and find sleep.

I put in a little work on the post I am building at one of my six hosted websites; and then I became too weary to carry on, since I knew that my brother was getting up and I would have to join him at 10:00 a.m. to put our Android TV Box into operation ─ that is my role during the workweek.

And so I went downstairs and sought my eldest stepson's bed to lie in, since he was away to work.

I was there by maybe 9:20 a.m., and then I was disturbed at 9:32 a.m. by my cellphone ringing ─ I ignored the unfamiliar number.

When next I checked the time, it was somehow 10:06 a.m. ─ I had apparently drifted into some sleep. I hustled up and made my way to the kitchen ─ not only was my brother up, but so was my wife. However, she was upstairs at that point ─ no one was privy to the fact I had been lying in my stepson's bed.

She had not worked yesterday due to a chronic problem with a forearm that is incapacitating her, and she did not go in to work this morning, either. Last afternoon she had gone to see a doctor, and she was to return this afternoon. It is quite a drive from here ─ in fact, near to where she works.

My poor brother had sought some bed rest in the noon hour because he was supposed to hook up at 2:00 p.m. with our older maternal half-sister Phyllis in order to lend her $5,000 (she is short on a down payment for a new house she is in the process of buying). However, she texted him early into his attempt to rest that she would be here in 15 or so minutes.

It was to prove considerably longer than that, but it finished his rest.

And when he saw her pull into the driveway, he went on out to her to drive away to his financial institution. It is now 6:26 p.m., so I hope all went well. Phyllis lives many miles away.

My wife was showering in preparation for her departure when my brother left. When I informed her on what had taken place with him, she expressed considerable disappointment for not having had Phyllis visit. In fact, my wife wanted me to let Phyllis know that my wife probably won't be working next Tuesday and Wednesday until at least the late afternoon ─ if at all ─ so she would be available if perhaps Phyllis wanted to visit or go out for lunch.

They have not seen once another in a few years.

I took some candid photos of my wife when she went out to put some trash into the bin I had earlier place out at streetside for today's collection, but I won't post them today. She was in her housecoat, and the photos are unflattering ─ especially so in view of those three photos I already posted of actress Jaime Ray Newman.

I cannot face the evening without another short nap, so I am going to call it quits for this post right here.

By the way, three or four mornings ago, I planked for 5½ minutes just for the heck of it. Also, last night deep into the midnight hour I placed an order to AliExpress.com for the very first time.

But more on that tomorrow, I hope.
