An Avian Burial

Upon finding myself awake following some latter evening napping yesterday, I found myself in need of some bathroom relief, so I rose in the hope that it was at least into the midnight hour and my younger brother had retired to his bedroom for the night.

I was to find that he had only newly done so, even though it was only around 11:45 p.m. However, I was not quite set to start work on anything here at my computer because my wife was very much embroiled in her own use of this room, having done at least one livestream that I know of ─ this one to her Facebook account, and of a duration of just over 34 minutes.

As I have written here before, I envy her this ability she has to just sit and naturally talk away while she enjoys a meal, as if she's just chatting with a friend. Everything is in Thai, though, so I have barely any idea of just what topics she is talking about.

I was perfectly happy to accommodate her, so I went downstairs to watch some T.V. until she had finished up. I think that both of my stepsons were still up and in their den area.

When I was finally installed in this wee room next to the bedroom and at work, ultimately only my eldest stepson was still sitting up, but eventually even he faded away. I never returned to bed until around 4:30 a.m.

It seems to me that my morning later began just after 9 a.m. And unfortunately for my wife, she was to get no further sleep because she received a phone call relating to problems she has been having in being denied an Employment Insurance claim.

I think that this is at least the fifth different person she has spoken with. The problem does not lie with her being unqualified. Rather, it lies with her claim having expired because she was unaware that even though she had first applied early last year due to a chronic injury to her arm preventing her from working in the kitchen at the Thai restaurant where she was employed, she never got any benefits after possibly a couple of months by which time she had applied for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) that had become available.

Even her first payment under that initiative was a long while in coming.

Ultimately she returned to work part-time. But she never did cancel her E.I. claim while receiving CERB. She was not receiving E.I. benefits ─ she was not making claims for any. But her claim was deemed active ─ she did not know better.

When CERB finally ended at the start of the Fall, I guess by then she had been working part-time, so she returned to her E.I. claim to top up her employment income, not realizing that it had been active in the eyes of the E.I. people ever since she started it early in the year despite not getting any benefits because she was not submitting regular claims for any.

So it started paying out in the Fall to top up her part-time employment income, and then earlier this year the claim's year-long lifetime expired. She had never realized that in all of those earlier months, it was an active claim that was simply running out the clock even though she was not receiving any benefits.

Anyway, that's the mess she has found herself in these past couple of weeks ─ or at least, as best that I understand it.

But returning to this morning, at 10 a.m. I joined my younger brother at the T.V. to put our Android TV Box into operation in order to watch a pair of interviews posted last evening to Librti.com/summit.

Specifically, we were to first watch an interview conducted by Mark Friesen ("The Grizzly Patriot"): Tom DeWeese - Sustainable Development Agenda/2030/21/Great Reset (53:23).

And then we watched an interview conducted by Odessa Orlewicz: Dr. Judy Mikovits - The Plague of Corruption in the Western Medical Industry and the Vaccine Agenda (1:02:08).

I had correctly anticipated that my brother was going to appreciate the second interview the most (I had considered playing them in reverse order), and he in fact offered up that nugget afterwards.

My brother and I both fail to wholly subscribe to the idea that "The Great Reset" and its "Sustainable Development" is all deception ─ that is, the idea that there is no global warming taking place caused by human activity, and that there are not far more forest fires than ever before, or that our forests are not being massively and inexorably destroyed by harvesting and development (as is taking place in tropical countries).

We can recognize the possibility that the technocratic elites ultimately want all humankind isolated into "smart cities" and forbidden from owning nor even being out in the vast landmasses that are being 'rewilded' and made forever inaccessible to us all. But it is a scheme that is awfully difficult to embrace.

It is easier to believe and understand that there is something absolutely insidious going on with the COVID-19 pandemic lie; and the face-masking, lockdowns, and social isolation ─ and of course, the non-vaccine "vaccine" that the populace is being hoodwinked into thinking is going to protect everyone from SARS-CoV-2.

These two interviews brought us to the noon hour, so I next tuned in an episode of Black Sails, after which it was time for my brother to seek some rest in his bedroom before he headed away for the afternoon to resume his daily drinking.

My wife may have had to work the latter part of the day (her usual part-time start is 4 p.m.), for she left around mid-afternoon. Earlier, she drew my attention to a dead bird outside that must have flown into our living room window.

A week or two back, a smaller grey bird ─ sparrow-sized ─ flew into the window while my brother and I were watching our daytime T.V., but it turned about and flew rapidly in the direction from whence it had come.

The deceased bird that my wife had first found this morning was larger ─ possibly a robin. I put its corpse into a good-sized Tim Hortons cup that I then reversed and inserted the cup's mouth into the mouth of another Tim Hortons cup; and then I buried it such that the topmost cup was the one enveloping the other cup, and thus rain would not directly enter into the cup containing the hapless bird.

Naturally the cups will soon enough decompose and allow in moisture, but by then the bird will have undergone much of its own decomposition.

Only later did it occur to me that the bird would likely be upside down in its cup coffin ─ that was an oversight on my part, alas.

This actually made me wonder about T.V. shows and movies that feature 'immortal' beings getting interred in things like coffins and safes and then buried as a sort of eternal (or nearly so) punishment in lieu of being able to just kill them.

Why have we never seen one of these burials done with the inmate upside down? Imagine an immortal vampire or similar 'creature' being punished by getting buried in a coffin that is upside down on its end so that the inmate's full weight is upon his or her head?

Imagine being punished for eternity with one's head cranked to the side because the full weight of one's body is being supported by one's head?

Has no director ever thought of anything like this? Now that would be an appalling prospect for something undead!

Anyway, as far as today's weather has been, it was rain free. We even had some sunshine and blue sky at times.

Oh gosh, it is already after 8 p.m. I want to try and watch a T.V. show and enjoy a beer before I have a quick, light supper. And then I will be on the watch for my brother's arrival home so that I can get myself to bed for the latter evening.

I must end here for today.
