LOCKSTEP and The Malpas Mystery

Marissa Andrews

If I am recollecting correctly, it was well after 10 p.m. by the time my younger brother managed to get home last evening after busing from whatever pub he had gone to in the afternoon to hook up with one or two of his drinking buddies.

And so it was that after I put our Android TV Box into action, we were to watch an episode of Last Tango in Halifax, and a 1960 black & white British whodunit film titled The Malpas Mystery that Wikipedia claims was 69 minutes long, but which turned out to be nearly three minutes under an hour long when viewed at RareFilms.xyz here.

One of the lead characters (Audrey Bedford) in The Malpas Mystery was played by actress Maureen Swanson (the actress actually quit acting the following year after she married into the British nobility).

Her character Audrey was a quite tiny, pert, and cute lass who used a lot of the era's popular crime lingo after just having served nine months in prison because of being basically framed for a crime that she did not know she was committing.

What I saw of Maureen Swanson has rather made me a little curious about seeing some of her other work, since her acting career was not quite a full decade. I rather liked the young woman ─ it's a little strange to think that she died in November 2011 at the age of 78, just managing to fall short of her next birthday by a week. (I am presently 72.)

The Guardian.com has a very good January 1, 2012 piece on the lady: Maureen Swanson obituary.

I reckon that it was possibly into the latter half of the midnight hour when I made it to bed last night, but my wife had not yet shown up following her full day of work at the Thai restaurant where she has part-time employment.

I have no idea when she did get home (we have separate bedrooms), but she had another full day of work today, so she was up by maybe 9:45 a.m. (the restaurant opens at 11 a.m.) to shower and otherwise ready for her day and her fairly long drive.

It had rained overnight ─ sometimes hard; and the rain continued throughout the morning, and off and on over the afternoon. As a result, there was definitely no sunning for me today.

As for morning television with my brother, when I put our Android TV Box into action at his invitation, I first tuned in Odessa Orlewicz's video from yesterday: I Interview The Leader Of A Massive Lawsuit in BC, Canada Against Unions. The video was an hour and two minutes in length.

Liberty Talk Canada Episode-I interview Philip Davidson, the lead in this impressive lawsuit below that not everyone knows about..."Just over 200 union members are set to go up against their BC, Canada unions in a bid to prove that they failed to represent them or colluded with the government on C‑19 gene therapy mandates. Lawyer Umar Sheikh of Sheikh Law will make the arguments before a Labour Relations Board hearing. A former Health Ministry director of labour relations, Sheikh led a successful fight against “Vax or mask” flu jab policies in 2019 as CEO of the British Columbia Nurses’ Union. The B.C. Labour Relations Board will be asked to find that the unions failed to represent members and as such award full damages and compensation, including income loss. Sheikh will argue the cases against each union individually, starting with the BCGEU and then proceeding to the national unions. “These will be huge,” he said. " (credit to Cindy Harnett above paragraph edited by myself for word censorship.)

I believe that one of the websites Philip Davidson is affiliated with is BC Public Service Employees for Freedom.

I hope the courts have the brains and honesty to recognize that the provincial government and its unelected health and other officials are in the wrong ─ if not blatantly corrupt. The big hurdle here is that so many of the judges are revealing that they are also deep into the tyranny and corruption.

The only other video my brother and I were to watch was two hours and 10 minutes in duration, and had been uploaded to Rumble on May 12: LOCKSTEP.

For decades the individual freedoms of individuals have been robbed from them one step at a time--LOCKSTEP. Most people had no idea that this was occurring. It was the 'boiling the frog' in a sauce pan approach, gradually, without anyone really noticing. COVID-19 and lockdowns were a 'Godsend' in many ways, as it opened up peoples' eyes around the world and they became awake. Was there some 'world power' at play the whole time, stealing peoples' rights, freedom and even everything they worked so hard for away from them? Experts from around the world as they share their opinions and expertise for what they believe has happened, or will happen.

Note: Some content may be strong for sensitive as a Holocaust Survivor shares her experiences from WWII, and a couple of Canadian Indigenous leaders share ideas and opinions about the assaults and genocide of Canadian Indigenous children. Also, there is discussion segment on the most secretive pandemic that has plagued humanity for generations, human trafficking.

As I declared in yesterday's post, my brother and I have been largely privy since at least back in November 2020 to much of what is happening in the world, so this video was not revelatory for us, but it had some surprises among the roster of people who were included in it who voiced their thoughts.

The video lasted into the final quarter of the noon hour, so my brother sought some bed rest ere leaving for the afternoon to 'socialize'. I have nothing planned for the early a.m. tomorrow, so I suppose that I am willing to sit up awaiting his homecoming so that we can possibly watch an episode on one of the T.V. series that we follow in common, as well as a movie that I have in mind.

As for the ongoing drama involving my wife's 'lost' DHL shipment from Thailand that supposedly fell into Canada Customs' (CBSA) hands back on April 14, there is still no word. DHL has washed their hands of my wife and no longer respond to our entreaties. And a contact at CFIA (the agency may have become involved with the shipment of health-related products) whom I E-mailed three days ago for help, and who said that same day that he would have someone investigate "to find out what is going on", has been silent since making that claim to my request for help.
