I was to bed last evening no later than 10 p.m., I believe, with my cellphone alarm set for 2:30 a.m. to rouse me for an overnight walk here in Surrey ─ as had been expected, my younger brother did not bus home by the 9:30 p.m. deadline from whatever pub it was that he had gone to for his drinking that afternoon, so I felt myself free not to sit up to watch an episode of any of the T.V. shows that we follow in common.
He doesn't understand how to operate our Android TV Box, so it is up to me to seek out the programmes that we watch. Otherwise, he must make do with whatever he can find on the basic cable programming available to us.
My wife was not yet home from her full day of work at the Thai restaurant where she has part-time employment, incidentally. She and I have separate bedrooms.
When my cellphone alarm sounded, it pulled me from quite a deep sleep, and the experience was nothing pleasant. Although I did hustle to get up and ready myself for the outing, I had little desire to be making the walk that would be well in excess of five miles.
It was 2:44 a.m. by the time I was outside the locked front door and on my way. My eldest stepson was still up, but I do not believe that he was aware of me. Also, my wife's car was present in the driveway, so she had gotten home at some point.
Due to how uninspired I was feeling about the walk, initially I vacillated in choosing my route, and as a result I both did some backtracking, and also some meandering. But for simplicity's sake, let us just use my route's rectangular boundaries as being 88th and 97th Avenues on two sides, and 132nd and 140th Streets on the other two sides ─ this Google Map has the midpoint of that rectangle as being 9250 - King George Boulevard.
However, my meanderings took me outside of 140th Street twice. The first time was when I turned up 92nd Avenue (Google Map) in the direction of 144th Street, for I had a bug to see if it was possible to find a pathway through to that more distant road.
I should have referred to that Google Map ahead of time, for I was basically walking blind. I practically reached the end of 92nd Avenue, but there was a suspicious car parked right there, so I was unable to discover that there was indeed a trail that would have led me through the forest that is there, and brought me to another leg of 92nd Avenue that would have allowed me access to 144th Street.
I did turn into the educational complex indicated on that Google Map, and which is alongside the stretch of 92nd Avenue that I was exploring; and I stealthily approached the suspect parked car and got near enough to it that I could hear people inside it talking, but I had no idea how many there were, nor could I hear any actual spoken words ─ just muffled voices that were sometimes quite loud.
It is a shame that I was denied access to the trail that I now realize does exist and which would have carried me through to the next leg of 92nd Avenue.
I returned to 140th Street and continued towards 88th Avenue ... but decided to check out the small Kyo Park that can be found in the centre of this Google Map. I followed a trail through it to a road, and then began wandering about, not realizing that had I known the proper route, I could have reached 144th Street. Instead, I aimlessly wandered about until I finally arrived at 88th Avenue via 140-A Street as shown at this Google Map.
Note that I had to warily make my way past a skunk on one of those backroads.
This time I was curious about doing some exploring of Bear Creek Park, so I walked a short distance along 140th Street before turning into the park via a path and then ultimately, I followed a path that took me well below (as you look at the map) the jogging track that is nearly at the centre of the park (Google Map), and I followed the path along until it brought me to what I see is identified as the Bear Creek Dog Off-Leash Area very near to where King George Boulevard will be intersecting 88th Avenue.
From there I made my way back to 88th Avenue, and executed no further deviations from the rectangle of my route.
I was back home outside the locked front door of the house at 4:55 a.m., so my hike had taken me essentially 10 minutes over two hours.
I was back in bed by 5:30 a.m., and remained there until just after 8:30 a.m.
When I joined my brother for some T.V. and my day's first instant coffee mid-morning, and he turned the T.V. over to me so that I could put our Android TV Box into action, I tuned in Odessa Orlewicz's video from three days ago ─ it was not too much shy of being two hours in length (1:50:44): June 21-Vascular Surgeon, Forensic Psychiatrist, And Nurse Sue Chief Public Health Officer NO SOUND FIRST 2 minutes so FFW.
ANOTHER lawsuit against BC, Canada's Chief "Public Health" Officer has been filed for fraudulent mandates. Be one of the first to hear it read out.
Should that website be down, the same video can be found at Rumble and BitChute.
The case does sound most promising; but of course, it all hinges upon the integrity of the presiding judge, doesn't it?
This was to be the only video my brother wanted to watch ─ before it was yet noon, he was already away for the afternoon.
The day was beautifully sunny, so I wasted little time in getting out into the backyard in a pair of gym-style shorts to do some serious sunbathing. I began sunning both my front and my back at 12:07 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., as I recall.
And now finally, I look delightfully sun-kissed overall! And I intend to maintain this practice over the next few or however many days that the steady sunshine endures.
By the way, my wife had to work another full day today. She rose around 10 a.m. at latest and sequestered herself into the upstairs bathroom where she showered and otherwise readied herself. Then she started talking in Thai to someone on her cellphone and came downstairs while doing so. The only conversation I got from her was when she headed out the front door for her car while still gabbing to that someone on her phone ─ she just called to me to close the front door behind her, for she did not have a free arm to easily do it herself. That was all the conversation I got from her.
And so she was gone.
I will be sitting up this evening watching shows with my brother once he is finally home again; so unless my wife is foolish enough to be out partying after work, I ought to be seeing her late this evening.
It is already after 8 p.m., so I must stop blogging for today.
