πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠ Bye Bye Bumble bee

It was well past 9:30 p.m. last evening before I got away on what was to be a five-mile+ walk, for it had become too late to weave some grocery shopping into it, and I was feeling truly 'off'. A year ago I likely would not have gone.

I pretty much had my usual such walk, except for taking to Cedar Trail from 148th Street (Google Map) instead of continuing on and turning along 96th Avenue.

I followed the trail and eventually came out onto 96th Avenue via Willow Trail, for my next road would be Green Timbers Way nearby (Google Map) ─ that would have been the case even if I had used 96th Avenue from 148th Street.

I never once turned on my flashlight, so it was night walking in the strictest sense ─ it's always a little eerie.

I got back home to find my younger brother had shown up and was passed out in front of the T.V.

I changed clothes in my bedroom, and then came downstairs with a couple of cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol) to enjoy while watching some T.V. Since my brother remained passed out, I took over the T.V. and turned on our Android TV Box, and then tuned in The Last Kingdom ─ "Episode 4" of the final season five.

My brother roused for the episode, but passed out again roughly halfway through. And so when the episode had ended, instead of wasting an episode on him of another of our shows, I chose to tune in the third double-episode of this season's American Ninja Warrior.

I knew that had my brother been conscious, he would have never wanted me to tune in something nigh two hours long at that point in the night; but since he was unconscious, he no longer had any say.

As it was to happen, he remained passed out for the entire first half of the darned show!

And despite all the unconsciousness he had to have experienced, he still chose to bow out with a dozen minutes of the show remaining ─ I guess he was so darned weary after all of that unconsciousness.

I have no idea how long he was obliterated ere I got home; but in my presence alone, he was 'out' a total of 1½ hours.

This sot is not my brother ─ this is Mr Hyde. It is always a gamble as to just how much of my brother Mr Hyde has taken possession of ─ sometimes it seems a total possession.

Anyway, American Ninja Warrior kept me up especially late, so I also drank a Bumper Crop cider (7% alcohol) ─ I had drunk one before my walk. I also had a smallish meal, and brushed my teeth, before seeking this bedside computer and an expenditure of a little more time before finally getting to bed.

Was it past 3:30 a.m.? Possibly; I just do not remember.

Yet morning for me commenced a little ahead of 8 a.m. My wife had never come home after working the full day yesterday at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.

When my brother had still not emerged from his bedroom just after 9 a.m., I again took possession of the T.V. and our Android TV Box and began playing a 40-minute (40:27) video published August 3 at Rumble's Deprogramming With Graces Dad channel: Standards of Care or Standards of Death?

In this monocast, Scott walks through how Standards of Care were designed to kill us and the only solution.

My brother did show up about 10 minutes into the video.

After that I tuned in Odessa Orlewicz's 31-minute latest effort from yesterday: BC, Canada EMPLOYED Doctor Gives Advice To "Unvaxxed" Workers Going Back. STAND STRONG Against Vax BS! With Additional Message From Nurse Corinne Mori.

I interviewed A BC, Canada doctor who had the first 2 doses but has since awakened, and the doctor has advice regarding The Health Authority/BC Gov's new idea for a "vaccine registry." This doctor says the power is with the workers now, and that the corrupted gov has found themselves in a pickle. Another doctor also calls out the health authority for making drug addiction worse. ALSO- I edited in an important message from Nurse Corinne Mori.

Even Jessica Rose featured the video on her Substack.

Then we watched the final half hour or so remaining of a nearly three-hour (2:54:53) video that it had taken us this third day to get through, but it was superbly done concerning the topic. It was published July 20, 2024, to BitChute's Scotty Bampot Law of the Land channel: THE EARTH IS NOT A GLOBE - OUTSTANDING!!! - (One of the best out there!!).

Maybe the Earth truly is flat? I am beginning to seriously entertain the possibility.

We were to watch several more videos, so I am not going to describe all of them ─ decide for yourself by their titles if you wish to check out any of these:

I won't mention the last video that we got into because we only got about halfway through it ─ once we have finished all of it, I will cite it.

Fairly early into the noon hour my brother sought bed rest; I had a meal, and was to bed for a poor nap when he emerged from his bedroom and left for the day.

Since it was a sunny day, I went forth into the backyard and beginning at 2:34 p.m. put in over 1½ hours of sunning.

Late into the session I noticed a massive bumblebee apparently trapped on the lawn, probably unable to fly due to its weight and the effects of the heat, for the grass has largely died.

I used my tee-shirt for it to climb up a couple of times, lifting the creature high enough that had it been healthy, it would have been able to fly; but try as it would, it would just fall almost directly to the ground.

So I again used my tee-shirt and carried it to a shaded rail of the sundeck. It sort of preened for a time, and then gave another go at flying, and just landed onto the deck. Then it started crossing along the deck to a far edge.

I had meantime fetched a tablespoon and had a bit of honey and also water on the spoon, placing it before the bee a few times, but this only seemed to agitate it and once it made a buzzing sound by frantically using its wings, so I held off.

By this time it had reached the end of the deck and dropped off to the lawn a foot or so below, and began scurrying along. This part of the lawn was shaded, at least; but I did decide to go around and see if maybe I could scoop it up into a container.

Alas, I was unable to find the darned thing, and did not see it again ─ it was moving fast, using its wings to propel its pace across the lawn. It definitely would not have been able to lift off, so I knew that didn't happen.

Unfortunately, it was headed in the direction of our wooden fence, on the other side of which was an alleyway. It's blocked off to vehicular traffic, but the pavement would be deadly hot if the bee got that far.

Personally, I fear that it will have died, even if it did not get to the pavement.

But all that aside, let's move on.

I spent the early evening somewhat differently of late ─ I watched a Christmas movie.

I watched it here at my bedside computer ─ 2017's The Sweetest Christmas. And I pretty much thoroughly enjoyed it ─ in fact, I drank two Cariboo Malts and a Bumper Crop cider!

I like lead actress Lacey Chabert ─ she's quite a juicy little number. And it was wonderful seeing familiar actor Jonathan Adams in a major supporting role ─ this chap always comes across as a truly nice guy.

I even liked the sweet kid as played by young actor Brenden Sunderland.

There was a scene into the latter half of the movie when I was actually brought to tears ─ it was when the song "A Marshmallow World" played (this time sung by Brenda Lee, I believe). It made me so sentimental for a loving life that now seems forever erased for me as I venture into old age.

But I don't want to get into that.

I watched the movie for the first 31 minutes at this link at M4uHD.net, but that's when it hopelessly began buffering, so I gave up and tuned it in at this link at LookMovie2.to. Sure, it occasionally froze for a few frames of video for a second or two, but the audio kept playing properly. But that was the sole flaw.

It wasn't the greatest of Christmas movies, but it was okay for my needs this evening.

And as I said, I do find Lacey Chabert most comely.

I have an early a.m. five-mile+ walk planned for tonight that I hope to be rising at 1:30 a.m. to ready for, so I shall be having a sensible bedtime.

I had better stop blogging now ─ it is 9:15 p.m.
