Switched ... at Christmas, No Less

Last evening's 5.625-mile round trip hike to Real Canadian Superstore was performed soberly.

I arrived back home to find that my eldest stepson was home from Halifax where he had gone for a week with his girlfriend to visit her family who apparently live there. However, I can not report on the visit ─ he proved uncommunicative. This is a trend that I have felt from him for some weeks now.

It would be helpful to know just how serious things are between him and his girlfriend ─ do they talk and plan upon soon getting an apartment somewhere together? If either he or his younger brother move out of here, it will be time to sell the property.

He is 29 years old; his younger brother is 25. Both have serious girlfriends ─ surely something more is developing in those relationships?!

Anyway, I also got home to find that my younger brother had already gone to his bedroom for the night ─ reportedly, about 10 minutes earlier. I had been intending to watch one of our shows together and enjoying some drink, for this opportunity to do the former will not come again until Sunday evening.

I had just gone upstairs to change from my street clothes when I heard my wife arriving home.

I did watch some T.V., and drank two cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol) and one of Bumper Crop cider (7% alcohol).

Putting our Android TV Box to work, I first watched Black Lightning ─ the premiere episode ("The Book of Reconstruction: Chapter One: Collateral Damage") of final season four. I enjoyed it well enough.

I then decided to watch The Avengers ─ episode 10 ("Never, Never Say Die") of season or series five. The episode featured Christopher Lee ─ I did not know this beforehand, but I began wondering if it might actually be that actor.

He was quite a handsome young man, but I never before realized that he was so darned tall ─ no one in the show came near to his height. This surprised me because I knew that Steed (Patrick Macnee) was just shy ─ a half inch at most ─ of hitting six feet. Christopher Lee was four inches over six feet.

Here is something rather odd that I have just discovered ─ both men died in 2015 at the age of 93, if you can believe this. What a coincidence! So obviously they were born the same year (1922). Patrick was slightly the elder.

If you are curious about the episode, I was unable to easily find a source in the three streaming apps that I primarily rely upon that are downloaded into our Android TV Box, so I used a browser app and watched the episode at this link at Archive.org.

I do not recall my bedtime, but I do hope that it did not surpass 2:30 a.m.

This morning I needed to pee rather direly around 6:30 a.m., so I visited the bathroom and realized that my younger brother was using his ensuite shower immediately adjacent to the bathroom ─ in other words, he was already up for the morning.

Not me ─ I returned to bed for nearly two more hours.

When I joined him for some T.V. just past 9 a.m. and then got his go-ahead to put our Android TV Box to work, I tuned in a 51-minute video published April 14 at Rumble's Sarah Westall channel: Incoming False Flags and More Chaos before Election w/ Dave Hodges.

Dave Hodges rejoins the program to discuss the chaos that will likely continue and escalate before the 2024 election. He provides you insight on the chatter we are hearing from sources and what that may mean for what is to come. You can follow Dave at https://rumble.com/user/TheCommonSenseShow or on his website at https://thecommonsenseshow.com/

Actually, prior to that video we likely watched a nearly 40-minute video that Dr. William Makis published on his Substack earlier today: VIDEO - CHD - 18 year old Trista Martin was killed by Pfizer COVID-19 mRNA Vaccine (July 2024). Unfortunately, riveting as it was, a few times it had annoying skips such that once I began to think the video had frozen.

“Trista was a very caring person,” but the COVID Pfizer shot “destroyed her body,” according to parents Taylor and Allen Martin. And because their little girl passed away before Trista could advocate for her own injuries, the Martins are seeking justice on her behalf: “We have to fight for her.” Although Trista’s story is more common than the media would like us to believe, the loud and numerous voices of the victims have been silenced to the point where many still have not heard their cries. But the families are forced to remember their loss each day — in the emptiness and quiet halls of their home, in the joyful and bitter memories they hold. We learn of Trista and the legacy she left behind in this CHD.TV video.

Does that same problem translate to this other source at Rumble.com that was published back on June 24?

Then I tuned in a 26-minute (26:45) video published earlier today to Rumble's Real Truth Real News channel: πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§‍πŸ‘§☠️ "The Depopulation Plan" ✞︎ ✮ Agenda21/2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is How They Can Do It ✦ Info Links πŸ‘‡.

Refer to the video link for a description ─ it is far too detailed for me to care to reproduce here. What I did not realize was that it was primarily audio only ─ a lecture, if you will. However, I knew that it was not excessively long, and my brother never complained.

When it concluded just past 11 a.m., he announced that he was retiring back to his bedroom for further rest.

My wife had a full workday today at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, so she rose around 9:30 a.m. or soon after, and left on her fairly long drive well within an hour thereafter.

After my brother returned to his bedroom, I rounded up portions of the three different Thai dishes my wife had brought home last night, and that was my day's first meal. My brother was to emerge from his bedroom and leave for the day before I had yet pursued a needed nap.

That nap was to prove to be one of those that found me feeling unpleasant afterwards ─ I truly hate it when a nap does that to me. It seems to occur more often than not by far.

The day was overcast ─ I saw some sunshine for the first time after 4 p.m., but then it clouded over again. So ─ no guilt here for not doing any sunning today! I had no inclination for it anyway. Thus, it was good that I put in nearly 1¾ hours yesterday afternoon.

I wanted an uplift ─ a powerful emotional boost before my early evening ended and my Sabbath fast began.

And so it was that a chose a superb 2017 movie titled Switched for Christmas. I never expected to blubber so much ─ I would love to watch the movie again at Christmastime with company!

Honestly, I never quite expect to be smitten by actress Candace Cameron Bure as she manages to achieve. This movie had her playing twins, and it was done perfectly ─ and thus there were two distinct romantic angles at play, both of which gripped me.

Heck, I even enjoyed both of the lead male characters ─ usually I just tolerate the male leads.

As well, Candace's real life daughter Natasha portrayed the teen daughter of one of Candace's character's twins.

Lord, Candace is gorgeously built, along with being a beauty ─ she clearly 'works out' with prime effect. She looked magnificent.

I was so enthralled emotionally with this movie that I drank three cans of Cariboo Malt as well as one of Bumper Crop cider ─ and I also had my last supper ere my fast.

I hope I do not suffer repercussions, for I have a wee a.m. five-mile+ walk scheduled.

By the way, I watched the excellent move here at my bedside computer at this M4uHD.net link, and it played flawlessly.

I have to stop blogging ─ it is already just past 10 p.m., and I hope to be up no later than 2 a.m. My brother has been home a half hour or more, but I have hidden away here in my bedroom.

I must quickly get to bed and hope I successfully overcome any negative effects of my drinking.
