Telephonic Home Insurance Re-Evaluation

With my wife home this entire primarily overcast day, I have not had the liberty to blog, but I hate just missing a day entirely.

And so I would like to mention something that I neglected to speak about in yesterday's short post ─ specifically, the arrival of our 2021 Census mail-out. I went online that same day and completed the questionnaire allotted to our household.

Apparently we merited the short version this year.

Also, I want to mention that late this morning my brother and I watched (via the Syncler 'app' that I have downloaded into our Android TV Box) what we thought was the series finale of The Good Karma Hospital, a delightful little series that we have taken our time enjoying over at least a two-year period.

In view of how the episode ended ─ and I will not act as a spoiler by identifying just what that ending was ─ I am relieved that a new (and fourth) season is supposed to be getting filmed this year.

Finally, I wish to mention that I returned a call from Friday to the carriers of our home insurance ─ an agent had left a message on Friday declaring that the house was up for a re-evaluation, something they apparently do every three to five years.

Blazes, I don't know aught about the house's particulars! Consequently, I hope that I haven't escalated the purported value of the structure and we're now going to see a big hike when the new policy gets mailed to us.

The renewal date is June 14, so we should be seeing the new policy very soon.

And that is it for today, I'm afraid.

Had my wife not been home this evening, I would have tried to make the four-mile round trip government liquor store hike, although I must admit that I am feeling especially lacking at present.
