This afternoon saw me in telephone conversation with an agent for my home's mortgage-holding banking institution concerning the mortgage contract that expires next month.
I had used their online mortgage renewal calculator, and their least expensive monthly payment would be approximately $370 more than what we are currently paying ─ and it would be for either a four- or five-year term.
This was boggling to me.
Well, the banking agent ─ a woman ─ was very sympathetic, and agreed that under my current amortization period of 17 or so years, I was unlikely to be still living here ... or at all. I would be 90 years old.
So when she asked if my major concern in view of that was not to be paying off the mortgage as expediently as possible, but was rather to have the least possible mortgage payments, she worked out a bi-weekly rate over an amortization period of 22 years that would be virtually identical to what the monthly rate is now in terms of total annual outlay.
That sure suits me. Consequently, I said that I would discuss this with other concerned parties living here, and she will phone me next Tuesday at 4 p.m. to put the new mortgage contract in place.
Last evening I sat up late with my younger brother once he was home from his daily socializing, and after putting our Android TV Box to work, we watched an episode each of Imposters, The Graham Norton Show, Jack Irish, and Coupling.
Note that thus far ─ and we watched episode 15 last evening of The Graham Norton Show ─ all of the current season 30 episodes for 2023 seem available on YouTube. This was the link for episode 15.
As usual, I had two cans of the strong (8% alcohol) malt that I try to keep in stock.
I will not be sitting up this evening to watch any T.V., for I have to get to bed reasonably early so that I can rise at 2 a.m. to quickly ready for one of my five-mile (minimum) walks. As well, I have my brother's monthly expenses reconciliation cheque to deposit.
This morning he and I only watched two videos because he had to leave to pick up his girlfriend Bev and take her to a 10:30 a.m. medical appointment, and then hang around to drive her back home afterwards.
We first watched a July 21 (2022) 21-minute upload to Rumble's The Why Files channel: Watching us from Orbit for 13,000 Years | The Black Knight Satellite.
If it is any additional help, you can refer to Wikipedia's article Black Knight satellite conspiracy theory.
The second video was Odessa Orlewicz's livestream of yesterday that was nearly 1¼ hours (1:14:30) long: Intrview With Dan Dicks. Police Now Allowing Assaults On Parents & Paint To Be Thrown At Moving Cars In Trudeau's Canada.
Video Clips will be shown. Soros has his hands all over this. Soros design on destroying communities from the inside out with his same old recipe is coming along beautifully. I did an episode on how he has his hands in all of this at the beginning of konvid.
Dan Dicks has over 9 MILLION views on his episode on twitter that caught assaults on a man with a billboard by the trans community. Dan and I have an in depth conversation about the hypocrisy that the same community that attacked billboard Chris, are the ones that have regularly shown up at other peoples peaceful rallies with "mean" signs for the sole purpose to abuse and disrupt. Now that same group is crying to MSM that a lone guy with a pretty mild sign showed up to theirs. The same community that is crying to the MSM also just threw paint at cars on the 100km an hour #1 highway 2 weeks ago. Yes folks- Those are your "victims."
Pressfortruth.ca see Dan's 3 videos about this. Follow Dan D!cks on twitter.
We actually watched the video here on BitChute.
My brother sought some bed rest following the video's conclusion, and then early this afternoon he left afoot to catch his first of two buses in order to rendezvous at a pub with one or more of his drinking buddies. I should thus have little trouble getting to bed before he returns this evening.
I had my usual early afternoon nap before eventually getting around to having that telephone conversation with the bank agent dealing with our home's mortgage renewal.
It has been raining much of today, so I am unsure just what I will be confronted with on that early walk ─ I will attempt to be on my way by 2:15 a.m. or soon thereafter.
Note that I did have some exercise out in the backyard tool shed this morning after my brother had left to pick up his girlfriend. I first weighed myself fully clothed and wearing runners: 195 pounds.
I am lacking of late. I felt unable to push myself, so in the six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, I settled with repetitions of three in the first set and two in the succeeding five.
As well, I also settled on a mere dozen relatively slow full range push-ups.
My computer froze before I could type anything else, so I was forced to take a break while it recovered from the forced shutdown I enacted. I didn't want to just sit here wasting time while that took place, so I had myself a bath; and then I had some supper while watching an episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star.
I need to try and get this post completed so that I can be free to retire to bed if my brother shows up unexpected early, but I do want to post a few photos that my wife took on Monday when she had to leave Rome after just over two months on a visit with a sister of hers who lives there.
Her next destination was to be Thailand ─ she plans to have an extended visit with her mother and other family (and friends) at her home village.
First though, she took and posted this one-minute video ─ probably Sunday evening in Rome ─ while walking a street with another Thai woman (I could not tell if it was her sister):
The first photo I have is one that I suspect my wife may have taken while awaiting her flight out of Rome ─ she mentioned in her Facebook post that she knows she looked "a little sad". However, it is also possible that she took the photo while at her first layover ─ she was flying Emirates, so the flight had a stop in Dubai.
All I know for certain is that the photo was posted to Facebook at 12:38 p.m. Pacific Time Zone (or 8:38 p.m. local Rome time), and I received a Facebook Messenger text from her at 1:18 p.m. (Pacific Time Zone) in which she reported being in Dubai.
She might well have posted her photo a while after having taken the selfie, which would make Rome a possibility ─ I don't think Dubai is an especially long flight from Rome.
Whatever the case, here it is:
And now I know ─ she had to have been in Rome. These next two photos were posted 10 minutes later at 12:48 p.m. Pacific Time Zone (8:48 p.m. local Rome time), and my wife offered the following comment ─ the Facebook translation is included:🇮🇹ห้องน้ำสนามบินอิตาลี สะอาดสะอ้าน มีของเด็กด้วย 😏
🇮🇹Italian airport toilets. Clean. There's kids stuff too 😏
I conclude with these eight images that she posted at 12:49 p.m. Pacific Time Zone ─ she is clearly on her flight from Rome:
I have to call it a day here ─ it is already just after 9:30 p.m., and I need to ready for bed.
