It was 4:45 a.m. this morning when I took a peek at the time. I deliberated for a bit, and then decided that there was no sense awaiting 5:00 a.m. as I was considering, so I carefully rose, gathered up my clothes, and left the bedroom without disturbing my sleeping wife.
Or so I hope.
Soon, I was at work on the day's content assignment at the post I have in development at one of my six hosted websites.
My eldest stepson rose around 5:50 a.m. to begin readying for work after playing hooky yesterday.
Upon finishing the post work later than I had intended ─ it was at least 8:13 a.m. ─ I bedded down here on the floor in front of my computer so as not to disturb my sleeping wife by returning to our bed. She would have to start work at 11:00 a.m., and thus tends to rise around 10:00 a.m. to begin readying for her day and the rather snowy drive.
I cannot recall exactly when it was that she finally got to bed last night, but it was far past 2:00 a.m. ─ maybe even after 2:30 a.m. When I had gone to bed into the midnight hour, she was on her cellphone talking to her mother (who lives over in Thailand).

I had hoped to be bedding down well ahead of 8:00 a.m., and because I failed to do so as badly as I did, I was overwrought at God and myself and all remotely concerned. However, I don't think it delayed my sleep ─ I was indeed tired.
My cellphone's alarm was set for 9:59 a.m. so that I could ensure that my wife rose to begin readying for work.
Nevertheless, she was to rise on her own soon after I did, but I admit that my cellphone's alarm roused me from a dreamy sleep.
I joined my younger brother downstairs where he was watching T.V., and then I employed out T9 Android 8.1 TV Box to fetch episodes of two of the T.V. shows that we follow (my brother doesn't know how to operate the device).
It lightly snowed 'off and on' throughout the day, and I took these five photos between 10:32 a.m. - 10:33 a.m. as my wife cleared away the snow on her car for her drive to work:
My brother was to seek his midday rest just ahead of noon ─ this is somewhat unusually early for him. I delayed my own return to bed until I had myself a very light breakfast; but it was probably no more than an hour later than did my brother, and maybe less than that.
When I rose at 2:05 p.m,, it was to find that my brother was outside shovelling snow off the driveway. However, he had gotten tied up with conversation from a neighbour who lives nearly across the cul-de-sace from us ─ I took this photo at 2:18 p.m.:
My brother is the one standing by the shrub.
When he eventually finished, he returned into the house and again sought some bedrest ere taking off for the afternoon ─ possibly as early as 4:15 p.m. My eldest stepson had earlier returned home a little early from work, and was also doing some shovelling ─ I took this photo at 3:55 p.m.:
I have not been getting as much exercise as I would like over the past few days, so I ensured that I went out to the backyard tool-shed and got some there. First, though, I had weighed myself exactly as I would be dressed so that I would know how much weight I would be hauling up and down during the session of pull-ups ─ in my boots, I was around 193 - 4 pounds.
I took these two photos from that shed as I faced toward the house at 4:43 p.m.:
Keep in mind that not two weeks ago, I still believed that for the first time in my memory, we would be getting through the Fall and Winter without any snowfall at all.
So much for that!
My brother has been coming home especially early from the bar, so I feel pressured to wrap up this post. I want to do so with this very encouraging article on manuka honey ─ a variety that is just beyond my means to afford, ruefully:
HSIonline.com
Above this post, I linked to some that came up in a search I made at Amazon. No doubt, it would be absolutely stupid to purchase any that was not guaranteed to be 100% raw. If it's been pasteurized, it would be next to useless as an antibiotic, I would expect.
You can find all manner of articles touting this honey, but I will link to three:
- CNN.com: Despite dubious claims, manuka honey may be antibiotic powerhouse
- NHS.uk: Can honey fight superbugs like MRSA?
- WebMD.com: Manuka Honey
So many articles laud the honey, yet whatever bozos are behind the article on it in Wikipeida had this to say:
...There is no conclusive evidence of medicinal or dietary value other than as a sweetener.
What utter ignorance! I refuse to even link to their wretched article.
Wikipedia has its uses in many scientific and other educational contexts; but when it comes to anything to do with the alternative medicine realm, the lot behind Wikipedia are outrageously antithetical and bigoted.
Well, I still have to create a post at my old and private blog, so I will taken my leave here.
