'Twas 9:06 p.m. as I readied for bed last evening.
The evidence that I needed some sleep is that I did not check the time again until (I believe) around 3:30 a.m. And although I rose to get some work done here at my computer, I knew that I was left with no choice but to remain up until after my eldest stepson had left for work.
As I have explained before, if he knows I am up, then he is unlikely to lock the front door when he leaves for work.
It was hurried, but at least I was able to get done just about everything that I wanted to get done. And I was outside watering the plants in the front yard when my stepson came outside for his drive to work.
I think that it may have been after 6:30 p.m. by the time I was back in bed for some little more sleep.
Yes, I recall checking the time just after 8 a.m. during one wakeful period, but I managed to sleep further and never rose for another hour. Or I should say, I was again awake in another hour ─ I was only able to lay there in bed for some while before finally galvanizing myself to rise for the morning.
My younger brother was downstairs watching T.V., but I waited until nearly 10 a.m. before going downstairs to boil water for an instant black coffee and then to join him.
We never watched anything at all to do with the COVID scamdemic / plandemic / casedemic for a change. When he invited me to put our Android TV Box to use, I first fired up an episode of Star Trek Continues ─ the third episode titled "Lolani".
The full series and its gag reels and so forth are all available on YouTube, but the official website links to them too.
I found myself drawn to the titular character Lolani, so I am a little surprised to find that the actress (Fiona Vroom) playing her was born in nearby Vancouver on June 14, 1983.
I can't say I've ever heard of Fiona before, nor do I recall seeing anything she has acted in, although I likely have seen her before. I am now going to have to watch all of her webseries shorts and related videos, The True Heroines. Apparently the small series takes place in the 1950s, and features three women who had been gifted with certain superpowers, but were now being targeted by their 'creator' even though they are only trying to live normal lives.
Anyway, my brother and I also watched an episode of The Graham Norton Show ─ specifically, season 28's episode 11; and also an episode of Riverdale (season one's episode 12).
Following that final show, my brother was set for some bed rest ere heading away for the afternoon.
Soon after his departure, I had some exercise, and then at 2:49 p.m. I began over an hour of sunning out in the backyard, for it has been yet another hot and sunny day.
Following the sunning, I then had my first meal of the day, and at last needed to return to bed thereafter for a good nap.
And that essentially brings me to the present at 7:14 p.m. ─ I am going to close this post here, fetch the can of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol) that I have in the fridge icebox / freezer (said beer of which must be approaching freezing), and tune in something on T.V. via our Android TV Box.
Besides, my wife just arrived home!
