Fight Back

I have allowed myself too little time for this post ─ it is already past 7 p.m., and I have an evening walk intended.

I rose overnight ahead of my 4 a.m. cellphone alarm because I was no longer easily sleeping ─ I may have risen as much as 18 minutes ahead of my alarm.

My wife had come home at some point since I originally went to bed, for she had worked a full day at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time. She evidently had to put in another full day today, for she left here just past 10 a.m., I believe.

Anyway, I never got away on my planned hike to the Fleetwood Save-On-Foods outlet until possibly as much as 6:10 a.m., but I was fine with that. The morning was overcast, and the walking cool and quite pleasant.

I made a $200 withdrawal at the Coast Capital Savings branch immediately next door to Save-On-Foods, which is most convenient.

My shopping was to exceed $75 by a little, but it included a 750-ml bottle of red wine to put away for my wife to eventually select and broach.

When I left the store with my two tote bags of purchases, I found that it had begun to very lightly rain, and this was to endure my entire walk home, intensifying a little.

It had taken me approximately an hour to walk to the store, but I walked home with a lesser pace; and even though the walk was initially pleasant enough, it gradually did become something of a challenge due to the burden of my purchases.

I believe that it may have been just past 8:30 a.m. when I got back. No one was yet up, so anon I did return to bed to await my younger brother's rising and accession of the T.V. once he paged through the Sunday morning edition of The Province that I subscribe to.

I may have approached some napping, but I left my bedroom door just slightly ajar, and pretty much roused when I heard my wife exit her bedroom for the bathroom. By then my brother had likely just turned on the T.V. However, he never released it to me until 10 a.m. so that I could put our Android TV Box into action.

It was right around then that my wife left.

The first video I tuned in was 18 minutes (18:12), and had been published two days ago to Rumble's AKStraightSpeaks channel: Discussing Canada's 1st city to require a QR Code to leave.

Everyone see the French Canadian QR code video going around? I asked a French activist to help me translate and talk about it. Here's my convo with Pierre Barns.

We were to only have time for one further video, although my brother departed from it for some bed rest while there may have been as much as half an hour to go (the video exceeded 1½ hours). It had also been published two days ago at Rumble but this time to its A Warrior Calls channel: PACE OF EVIL QUICKENS WORLDWIDE / FIGHT BACK OR MANKIND IS FINISHED.

It was typical Christopher James, so I am not going to reproduce his ranting video description.

Once my brother abandoned the video, I let it play while I rounded up my day's first meal and then ate it.

I never sought my nap until after my brother left for the day to socialize.

★★★

It is now approaching 9 p.m., and I have just completed watching an episode of FBI: Most Wanted ─ episode three ("Succession") of season four. I feel as if this is the first time that I actually saw actress Alexa Davalos display pure emotion in the series, but she is still too unrealistic ─ these characters all are.

I loved the actress in The Man in High Castle, and a main reason I am watching this FBI series is because of her. But she has basically zilch appeal. The gig may pay well, but I am totally neutral about her now ─ I no longer have curiosity of her other work. She should not have taken this role.

I drank a can of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol) and a shot of Kraken Black Spiced Rum (47% alcohol); it is now time to ready and get on my way on what ought to be a 5.625-mile round trip hike.
