Yesterday did not end well, as my post's abrupt finish testifies. I feel so wretchedly sordid sometimes.
But I did rise at 2 a.m. to ready for my walk, and didn't feel too poorly for getting to bed as late as I did.
My wife's bedroom door was closed, so I knew that she had come home following working the latter part of the day at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.
My eldest stepson was still up, though ─ evidently seated at the dining table and watching movies and such on a laptop, so I was forced to sneak away when I finally left. Fully clothed, I had weighed maybe 189 pounds.
It was 2:26 a.m. once I set off in a very light spitting of rain that had only recently begun because everything was still dry.
If possible, I still wanted my stop for exercise at the elementary school playground three or so blocks from here, so I rather pushed my pace.
When I got there, I found that the equipment was indeed spattered with rain, but I was able to engage the first two sets of pull-ups without wiping rain off the jungle gym monkey bar I was using; I then used a bandana to clear off the accumulating, smeared moisture for the next two sets of chin-ups; but the final two sets on the gymnastics-style rings found them to only be negligibly moist, probably because they were shielded by the upper parts of each ring, as well as the very thick bar from which they were suspended.
So I had my usual of late repetitions: 5-2-3-2-2-2. The final pull-up on the rings was held for a 20-count.
However, by the time I was done, the cement ramp where I perform a dozen slow, full-range decline push-ups was thoroughly wet, a harbinger of what I was to find once I returned to the roadways ─ all exposed pavement had become wet by then.
Notwithstanding, the rain was never to be anything like heavy, and I never felt myself threatened with a drenching. In fact, at times my walk seemed rain-free.
To possibly avoid incurring the lameness that seems to afflict me along 96th Avenue between 148th Street and Green Timbers Way (Google Map), I amended my route and skipped 96th Avenue entirely. Instead of taking to it after reaching it from 100th Avenue as I walked 148th Street, I kept walking that latter street all the way to Fraser Highway (Google Map). That is also basically the intersection with 92nd Avenue.
The tactic seemed to prove itself out. Still, once I had well passed 140th Street as I walked Fraser Highway, the liability did begin to pronounce itself for whatever under a mile remained of my walk from that point.
I calculate this revised walking route to be 5.677 miles, so not terribly more than what I have always referred to as my five-mile+ walk; and it was 4:34 a.m. at latest by the time I was back home.
I got well delayed in returning to bed, so it might have been as late as 7 a.m. by then. The hold-up began when I was seeking to update the plugins at my two hosted WordPress websites.
One was no problem; but each time I attempted to log into my other website's WordPress administration area, all that would display was a notice that declared:
Your server is running PHP version 5.6.40 but WordPress 6.5.2 requires at least 7.0.0.
I had no idea what to do, so I researched if there was anything I could do to get into my WordPress dashboard via FileZilla. But it had been so very long ─ probably over two years ─ since I ever logged into FileZilla that it not only needed updating to a newer version, but my login details for this specific site were said to be invalid.
Most fortunately, I eventually realized that the credentials for the second site ─ both of which are hosted at the same place ─ did get me through.
Nevertheless, I could not immediately see what I could do ... and then in my researching I came across mention of cPanel, and I remembered that using that would allow me to access my dashboard at my hosting company.
I succeeded in doing this, and then researched how to do the PHP upgrade, for I had seen that even though the 'good' website was running PHP version 7.4, the troublesome one was inexplicably showing PHP version 5.6.
So I simply went ahead and selected the identical version that the 'good' website was running and applied it.
Then when I attempted to log in to my WordPress dashboard for the website, I no longer got that annoying notice. This time, a notification came up that the site was undergoing maintenance, and to try again after a minute or so.
Well, it did take longer than a minute, but the PHP update must have at last gotten fully installed, and I was finally able to enter my WordPress dashboard and update its plugins ─ six needed updating.
This is my Sabbath fast and ─ unlike last week ─ I have refrained from black and unsweetened coffee. So it was difficult forcing myself out of bed later this morning ─ it was after 9 a.m. by then, and my younger brother was watching T.V.
My wife was to have a full workday, so she rose around 9:30 a.m. to shower and so forth, and despite a good morning that she bade to my brother and I collectively when she came downstairs, she left for work wordlessly 10 or 15 minutes past 10 a.m.
At that point my brother and I were watching a 35-minute (35:21) interesting interview that Odessa Orlewicz hosted and published yesterday: "Do You Detest Political Parties? Then Vote Independent. Find Out Why With Rick Dignard & Patricia Jecks."
We desperately need to get rid of David Eby/Bonnie Henry. Other provinces are in the same boat and already have lots of independents that won. If you refuse to vote- then vote for your awake independent... Or maybe YOU should run as an independent! It's Important. Join us for an important conversation. https://independent.ca
As one of the commenters corrected, that website is actually https://independentbc.ca.
We also watched a 27-minute (27:03) video published today at BitChute's Progressive Truth Seekers channel: Israel Committed Murder - USS Liberty Survivor Speaks Out.

ISRAEL IMPERIALISM - FOLLOW THE MONEY
The Jimmy Dore Show
Survivor of Israel's Treacherous Attack On USS Liberty, On June 8, 1967
“Zionism had always been a European solution to a European problem.” ~Ariel Sabar
In 1967 the USS Liberty was attacked by the Israeli military during the Six Day War between Israel and Egypt.
Philip Tourney was a petty officer who survived the attack on the Liberty and today he’s speaking out about the U.S. government’s complicity in the attack.
And how Israel got away with a planned assault on an American ship.
Jimmy and Americans’ Comedian Kurt Metzger speak with Tourney about his experiences in the Navy, the attack on the Liberty, the later cover-up and what needs to be done to expose the truth about why Israel really attacked the Liberty that day.

We also watched a 19-minute (19:21) video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's Redacted channel: "Iran is HIDING a dark nuclear secret" warns WSJ and Biden is ignorning it? | Redacted News.
Is the Biden administration going soft on Iran or are they realizing that they can't lie about Iran's nuclear weapons any longer? You decide.
We finished with a movie that I had previously downloaded onto a flash or thumb drive; but there was not time enough to watch all of it this morning, so I will not report upon it until we have watched the entire movie.
I held off having my early afternoon nap until my brother had his bed rest and then left for the day. By that time, I was alone in the house ─ both of my stepsons had independently gone off to somewhere.
The day remained overcast, although the very light rain was likely finished early ─ heck, maybe it was largely done by the time I had finished my walk.
I will be rising at 4 a.m. tonight, and then heading out around 6 a.m. on a five-mile+ walk that will allow me to do some grocery shopping at Save-On-Foods when I am approximately ¾ of a mile from home on the return leg of my walk.
Early into my evening as I awaited the arrival of dark and my release to finally eat today, I watched a 42-minute (42:53) episode of Diabolical.
You can see that IMDb realizes that episode "Control Freak" exists and was supposedly aired on June 18, 2018, but they do not include it under any of the lists of episodes they have for all three seasons ─ supposedly it was episode six of season three. However, at IMDb, only season one had any 2018 episodes, but none were listed beyond May of that year.
I watched the episode here on my computer at Dailymotion.com: Diabolical - Se3 - Ep06 - Control Freak HD Watch.
I watched it under the recommendation of an E-mail pen pal of mine who lives in Texas ─ she actually went to secondary school with and thus knew the subject of the video, Donna Scrivo.
I am expected to reply back at some point with my impressions of Donna, so I will be doing that within a few days.
By the way, I weighed myself around 7:30 p.m. while fully naked ─ at very most, I scaled in at 177 pounds. That's an improvement on last Saturday's 179 pounds.
I'm done. It is 9:49 p.m., and I can now eat!
