Hotel Room

As planned, I did rise at 4 a.m. overnight. One would think that doing so would leave me plenty of time to be away on foot by around 6 a.m., but not me! It was nearly 6:30 a.m. by the time I left.

And it smartly appeared that I was going to get drenched with a heavy spraying of rain.

Fortunately, it only endured in intensity for a half mile or so, but it did leave me damp and somewhat chilly. Supposedly it was not even 10° Celsius (50ΒΊ F.).

Due to my late start, I decided that I would not walk all the way to the Green Timbers Urban Forest Park trail (Salal Trail) essentially paralleling 148th Street, but would instead just take the nearer trail almost at the mouth of Green Timbers Way at 96th Avenue (Google Map) that would allow me to work my way through to the intersection of 140th Street & 100th Avenue.

And from there, I would head back in the direction of home, stopping to do some grocery shopping at Save-On-Foods by George Junction (Google Map).

After that, on the ¾-mile hike for home, I did begin to suffer lower left leg and foot lameness ─ so discouraging.

No one was yet up when I got here, so I returned to bed for an hour or better, correctly believing that my younger brother was likely watching T.V.

After joining him, at his invitation to put our Android TV Box to work. I led things off with a 14-minute (13:58) video published yesterday at Rumble's AKStraightSpeaks channel: Here's why Trudeau Loves Vaccines!

So great to be invited on to be part of Stef's "Premium Streamium"! Find out more at jimmydore.com.
And for on me. please check out anitakrishna.com
We talked a lot about David E. Martin here.

Next I played three short videos published yesterday at Rumble's Sunfellow On COVID-19 channel:

The description is too long for re-posting here, so please refer to the video link.

Excerpted from:

Candace Owens vs Piers Morgan On Daily Wire, Israel, Kanye & More
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQxNSV32Zkc

Candace Owens is the kind of firebrand that only comes around once in a generation. Black, conservative and proudly anti-feminist, Candace became a right-wing darling by breaking the mould of what a conservative looks like. She joins Piers Morgan on Uncensored with no love lost between them.

Piers starts off by questioning her on her now infamous departure from The Daily Wire, amid allegations of antisemitism. The conversation then turns to Israel, and Candace condemns its methods against Hamas, saying they aren’t being careful at all. Perhaps her most dramatic claim however, is that the First Lady of France, Brigette Macron, was actually born a man. In this fierce showdown, Piers and Candace give as good as they get.

Piers is a blind, gullible ass.

Again, refer to the video link for the full description.

My next selection was 24 minutes (23:54) and published earlier today to BitChute's Progressive Truth Seekers channel: Mexico Just SHOCKED The World and EXPOSED the WHO's Bird Flu LIES.

I am short on time, so please refer to the video link for a full description.

Finally, it was a 10-minute (10:22) video uploaded December 8, 2021, to YouTube's FORGOTTEN HISTORY channel: Charles Martel - The Hammer - Forgotten History.

Charles "The Hammer" The Savior of modern Europe. Charles Martel (c. 688 – 22 October 741) was a Frankish statesman and military leader who, as Duke and Prince of the Franks and Mayor of the Palace, was the de facto ruler of Francia from 718 until his death. Hosted by Colin Heaton.

I also tuned in a long movie, but for want of time, I shut it down with 50 or so minutes to go. We will likely finish it tomorrow.

My wife had come home from her latter day yesterday of work at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time. She apparently had a full day today, but did not rise until maybe 9:45 a.m. Somehow she had a fast shower and readied herself ─ she even mixed up a hot health beverage from Thailand ─ and was on her fairly long drive maybe 10:10 a.m.

We had some heavy morning rain, I must say. I am glad I met nothing like it earlier on my walk.

My eldest stepson was up in the late morning after his mother left, but it was not until my brother and I quit T.V. and were each seeking a nap that I realized the 29-year-old had his girlfriend with him in the boys' den area (his brother had left for the day), so I expect that the girl must have spent the night here.

I wonder if my wife knew?

Note that on my morning walk, I had to withdraw $200 at my financial institution's ATM. I did not at all like how low that brought my account's balance. Property taxes are due July 2nd. Fortunately, my brother gave me a cheque for what is supposedly a 25% share of both the June 14 home insurance as well as the property taxes, so I will deposit the $1,462.64 this evening.

I intend the 5.625-mile round trip walk to Real Canadian Superstore.

Towards that end, I hopefully boosted my drive by first watching the tail end of a three-episode movie of sorts that I had mostly gotten through last evening. I had tuned it in because actress Alicia Witt was in one of the episodes.

You can presently watch the feature on YouTube: Hotel Room (1993) HD Remaster [Full Series].

My opinion? The first episode was rather intriguing; I began getting drowsy during the second rather pointless episode; and the third ─ with Alicia Witt, alas ─ was atrociously acted. I could barely get through the ludicrous thing. Such a disappointment for me.

Anyway, I then tuned in The Avengers ─ season five's episode eight ("The Hidden Tiger"). I vaguely remembered the episode from my teens, but it might as well have been new to me.

I enjoyed it ─ I was in love with Emma Peel's Diana Rigg for at least a full two years 'way back then! Should you care to watch the episode, I did so at this VK.com link. It played perfectly.

So how the motivation for a walk? I downed a can each of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol) and Bumper Crop Crisp Apple Cider (7% alcohol) during The Avengers.

But I drank the same quantity Thursday evening and became so overcome with weariness I had to suspend the shopping, and only managed to force myself out on a substitute walk alone.

I need a bit of a rest, but I believe myself capable of the outing.

The latter afternoon saw drying out there, if not exactly sunshine. That has held as I type these last words at 8:41 p.m.
