My wife was home last evening before I sought my bed ─ she had found a delivery for her that had been left outside without any alert to those of us inside the house.
Anyway, I got to bed with my cellphone alarm set for 4:30 a.m., for I was rather determined to subject my bad left foot to the 1½-mile (at most) round trip walk to the elementary school playground for some exercise there, rather than having to wait around home until 7:30 a.m. or so when it would be getting light enough outside for me to be able to see inside the backyard tool shed to exercise there.
Once I was outside, I was to find everything wet from recent rain, so I needed to wipe dry a couple of jungle gym monkey bars at the playground for me to use for the planned half dozen sets of pull-ups and chin-ups. Vandals had wrapped the chains of all of the gymnastics-style rings around the very high support bar, so they were rendered useless.
There was nothing of note about my performance. I simply had the usual two sets of pull-ups (5-2), then two sets of chin-ups (3-3), and I finished with two sets of pull-ups between two of the bars (2-2) where I held a hang after that final pull-up for possibly a 45-count.
And then I completed the exercise session with a mere 10 slow full-range decline push-ups on a cement ramp.
My foot seemed no worse off for the outing, but I did walk with a gingerly bit of a limp.
I'm now unsure when it was that I returned to bed ─ it may have been around 7 a.m.; and I remained there until checking the time at something like 9:09 a.m., hustling up because I correctly expected to find that my younger brother was already watching T.V.
Before too long at all, I joined him, and soon had our Android TV Box at work.
First I tuned in a 33-minute video published yesterday at Rumble's Libertytalkcanada channel: BC Canada Gov FORCED Destruction Of Files Re: 20 Yr Study To Hide Evidence About Free Drugs Program.

My wife apparently had a full workday today ─ her second consecutive ─ at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time. She emerged from her bedroom just ahead of 9:30 a.m. and began readying for the day, finally leaving shortly after 10 a.m. on her fairly long drive. I have no idea if she will be home tonight.
The second and last video I tuned in for my brother and I was nearly two hours (1:57:42) and had been published December 13 to BitChute's Banned Youtube Videos channel: An Iron Will | The Highwire.

My brother actually departed the video with maybe a half hour or more of it to go, for he wanted some further bed rest. Nevertheless I kept it playing, and rounded up my day's first meal.
Once the video was done, I came upstairs here to my bedside computer to eat.
Soon I could hear my eldest stepson up from bed and messing about in the kitchen. Then my brother began stirring, and anon came forth ─ but not to go anywhere. Instead, he embarked upon an extensive cleaning project in his bedroom and en suite shower / toilet.
This was a scheduled bath day for me, so I decided to tackle that before my stepson occupied the facilities.
My brother progressed his vacuuming from his bedroom down to the living room area. Clearly, he was preparing to have his girlfriend Bev stay over for Christmas.
In times past, he and she would show up in the evening half cut from drinking, but things are different now that he has had a mandated ignition interlock device installed for the past four months ─ he cannot use his van if he has been drinking. Thus, I could only wonder if he was going to go and fetch her this afternoon and bring her here so very much earlier than would have otherwise been the case.
When I finished by bath and emerged to taper off here in my bedroom, I heard him cough from his bedroom ─ I had thought that he had left. But no, he was resting after wearing himself out housecleaning.
Awhile later he sallied forth, and I approached him concerning his later plans with Bev.
It seems that I misread things. His immediate plan was to bus off to the Legion over near where she lives about two miles away. He would drink there for a time, and then walk over to her home and visit there, drinking with her.
She is hardly going to be busing back home with him later. Thus, it will be tomorrow that he will drive over and collect her, provided he does not drink so much tonight that his alcohol blood levels tomorrow will alert the ignition interlock device and prevent his van from starting.
Nonetheless, in my mind I still deem it possible that there will be a change of minds this evening ─ maybe the pair will show up here together after all, possibly by taxi.
We shall see.
In the midafternoon I decided to watch a Christmas movie. I did so downstairs on T.V. with the aid of our Android TV Box, although my source was website OK.ru.
The movie turned out to be better than I anticipated, but it was not quite relatable enough for me. As well, I grew very groggy for a stretch after I had slowly worked my way through a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol). I almost dared a second can, but withheld ─ I will of course be sitting up late this evening with my brother once he is back, with or without Bev.
The movie I watched was 2018's A Majestic Christmas; and as I said, I was not expecting much from it since it was not relatable for me. This was why I limited myself to the one slow beer. Really, it was primarily just to be done with the movie that I chose to watch it.
Probably if I had been rested and gung-ho about drinking and immersing myself into the movie, I would have enjoyed it far more than I did.
None of the cast were visually familiar to me, and I certainly had never heard of lead actress Jerrika Hinton. If ever I saw her in anything previously that she had acted in, I do not remember her.
If you are curious for yourself, this was the OK.ru link that was my movie source.
I am going to cease blogging now, with the evening before Christmas newly arrived. I have no clear idea on how I shall be spending the time as I await my brother's return ─ just watch T.V.? If I drink any further, I do not know what to expect later ─ I don't want to get too corned and have an unpleasant time of it come tomorrow morning.
First off, though, I want to lie down ─ I never had a nap this afternoon.
I hope I will manage to blog a little tomorrow. I don't want to have no record of the day.
