My cellphone alarm was not set overnight because I felt I had gone to bed too late to be in shape to be getting up at 3 a.m. or even earlier. Yet a wakeful point arrived when further sleep was proving elusive, so I peeked at the time ─ it was not yet 3:40 a.m.
I could have easily risen 40 minutes earlier!
I tried for sleep a while longer, then five or six minutes past 5 a.m. I rose to dress and go outside to water the front yard garden plants. I then did the same for the backyard, after which I visited the tool shed for a half dozen sets of pull-ups and chin-ups while I was still less stiff.
With a 30-count between sets, I led off with two of pull-ups (five and two repetitions), then two of chin-ups (three and two repetitions), and finally two of pull-ups between two bars (two repetitions in both sets). I held the dead hang of the very last pull-up for an 80-count.
I did eventually return to bed ─ maybe 6:30 a.m. or so ─ with my bedroom door slightly ajar to better hear my younger brother if he rose for the morning before I did.
And he did ─ not too very long after 8 a.m. So I rose, but I did not venture downstairs to join him until fairly close to 9 a.m.
Soon enough he gave his invitation for me to put our Android TV Box into play, so I began with a superb 25-minute video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: Global News Finally Covers What Got Me Fired!!
I was a former newscast director with Global and I was fired when I brought up safety issues during Covid 19.

That was followed by a 28-minute (28:53) video published earlier today to Rumble's Tucker Carlson channel: Tucker Carlson Interviews President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian.
I followed that with Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ─ episode six ("Inescapable" ) of season six.
And we finished up with a show I had previously downloaded ─ Red Cap. This time it was episode five ("Cold War") of season or series one. I do not now know my source for the download, but the episode is presently available at YouTube's Besoaria channel: Red Cap S01E05.
Thereafter, it was time for some bed rest for my brother.
I had a fast meal, and then lay down to rest, not daring a nap because I correctly figured that my brother would be wanting to make the four-mile round trip drive to get himself another box of two dozen cans of beer ─ I had exhausted my beer supply last evening, so I needed to make the trip with him.
And so it was.
There was to be no afternoon sunning for me, though; once we were back, it soon became apparent that my brother was home to remain ─ he would not be busing off to commence any social drinking elsewhere. It would just be he and Bev enjoying T.V. together.
With no sunning on my schedule, I decided to go online and book a 15-minute free physiotherapy assessment. My gosh! It took me more like a half hour to finally get that booking done!
The session is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Thursday (July 10), and will be a walk of about a half mile to get there.
I am going to take a break from this post, but ere I do, I just wish to mention that my wife had a full workday today at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, so she was out of her bedroom this morning by around 9:30 a.m. to shower and whatnot, and was away on her fairly long and sunny drive by 10 a.m. or soon after.
At present it is 5:08 p.m., and I am going to have a little exercise in her vacant bedroom. Then I shall be watching something here on my bedside computer and delving into my two-dozen canned beer supply of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol).

First up was The Carrie Diaries ─ episode five ("Dangerous Territory") of season one. I truly like this series! This episode even caught me emotionally.
My source was this good OK.ru link.
And there went my first can of beer, of course.
I then took a break for a light supper, and was back into the entertainment ─ Black Lightning. I'm nearly through the series, for this show was episode 12 ("The Book of Resurrection: Chapter One: Crossroads") of final season four.
I'm looking forward to finally being done with this series. Rarely does an episode actually touch me emotionally, and this one was not in the least an exception.
If interested, my source was this GOOJARA.to link.
Next on my list despite the advance of my early evening was The Flash ─ episode 16 ("The Curious Case of Bartholomew Allen") of season eight.
Alas, I became so sidetracked over mentally drooling and lusting for "Cecile" actress Danielle Nicolet that I drifted away from a lot of the story, fixating on imagery and imagination of her. She was the absolute star of the show in my ageing eyes.
My episode source was this GOOJARA.to link.
So there went a third can of beer, and I'm rather feeling it.
I finished the episode only a few minutes before my wife got home, but I am going to remain shut up here in my bedroom and get to bed. I will be setting my cellphone alarm for 3 a.m.
I hope to get out to deposit my brother's $1,505.61 contribution to our annual property taxes due July 2nd that I wrote out a full cheque of my own for (and which has not yet been negotiated, from what I saw online this afternoon).
Enough blogging ─ it is 10:13 p.m., and time to start shutting things down.
