I suppose that it was just after 8:40 p.m. last evening when I realized that my younger brother had arrived home from wherever it was that he had been drinking, so I ensured that I was into my bed by 8:45 p.m. to avoid any involvement with him by way of the operation of our Android TV Box to fetch episodes of some of the T.V. series we follow in common.
I am the only one of us who operates the device.
But I could not sleep for the longest time. And with what little I achieved, I was not feeling much like rising late in the midnight hour to eventually get to work on the post I ought to finally have published tomorrow at one of my six hosted websites ─ it's been over a month, I am certain.
I was back to bed by 4:30 a.m. at latest, I will venture.
My actual morning began soon after 8:30 a.m., but as usual I did not join my brother downstairs for T.V. until 10 a.m.
We were to have a sunny day.
If not for this weekday routine I have of catching some Android TV Box-located T.V. fare, I would get more accomplished during my day. My brother did not seek bed rest until toward the end of the noon hour, so I believe that it was 1:10 p.m. when I went out onto the backyard sundeck and began around 42 minutes of sunning of my back whilst attired in a pair of gym shorts.
I came back into the house for my day's first of two small meals, and I was eating that when my brother emerged from his bedroom. And after maybe 10 or so minutes, he readied himself and left for the afternoon, apprising me that a Vancouver Canucks playoff game was being televised at 3 p.m., should I be interested.
Well, had I that sort of leisure time, I might have watched some of it; but my afternoons are generally a desperate attempt to deal with several daily time-consuming tasks.
I now see that the Canucks won the game in overtime for a two-game lead on the St. Louis Blues.
I still had more sunning to submit to ─ again, at least 42 minutes sunning my front, this time slouched low into a lawn- or deckchair with my bared feet on the ground to benefit from earthing or grounding along with the tanning and vitamin D production, and the other benefits derived from sunshine on the skin.
With that done, my next task was a post at my private blog.
Once that was finished with, I then had a session of blood flow restriction exercising to cope with.
And only thereafter have I been free to begin work on this post.
However, as I type these words, it is already 7:27 p.m., and I want to get this small effort over with so that I can have my rather spare supper and perhaps catch an episode of a sitcom before my brother shows sup.
If he is not here by 8:30 p.m., he will be watching T.V. and drinking on his own ─ I will seek my bed as soon as he shows up. Or if he is exceptionally late, then I will get to bed in due course because I have an early morning shopping expedition planned.
I do not drive, so I will be walking the round trip of 5.625 miles. Obviously, I won't be burdening myself with too much of a load to be hauling back home, but there is always Sunday morning to complement the shopping I do manage ─ if I get sufficient sleep and feel up to making the trip.
The targetted store opens at 7 a.m., so I will need to leave here no later than 6:15 a.m. But of course, before that I will have been up for quite some while ─ I have to complete and publish that website post, for one thing.
Anyway, I have said enough for today.
