A Postivie Day

Early last evening I attempted to watch a Christmas movie while indulging in some golden rum, but I was too overcome with my afternoon conduct and how I had squandered that valuable time. Also, I had the beginnings of an aura presenting that would ultimately render it impossible for me to watch the movie.

I decided to cancel out of the movie, pour the rum back into the bottle, and have a fast bath ─ this latter effectively eradicated the aura, fortunately.

And I might well have been to bed by 9:30 a.m. with my cellphone alarm set for 2 a.m. to get me up for my scheduled 5½-mile walk.

When my alarm sounded, I could hear my wife stirring about, clearly having recently arrived home after her full workday at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time. She undoubtedly had been partying and / or visiting the casino near to where she works. She actually told me two days ago that she wishes she could quit working where she does because the casino's proximity is irresistible to her as a gambling addict ─ and her workmates are a poor influence, often encouraging her to go there with them.

As I dressed for my walk, I recognized that she was just then retiring to her bedroom ─ we have separate but adjacent bedrooms. I was not going to be held up at all from my walk by any conversation with her, for I like to leave no later than 2:15 a.m.

When I was set to go, I had to depart quietly because my eldest stepson was still up, probably seated at the dining table watching something on a tablet or laptop.

I succeeded in getting away just ahead of 2:15 a.m., and was greeted by the faintest fine mist-like spray of a rain.

Due to being unable to use the short alleyway beside our house that leads from our cul-de-sac to the main avenue ─ a tenant whose back shed opens onto the alleyway had its door wide open and was mucking about with the area all lit up; he has a bloody annoying dog that treats passersby aggressively ─ I opted to add a little extra distance to my walk. At most, maybe a quarter mile.

As I walked, the fine spray increased in intensity. Nonetheless, it was not cold out, so I was not suffering. And so when I came to the elementary school playground where I generally stop early into these walks so that I can essay six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, I wondered if I might be able to match a performance I had yesterday in our backyard tool shed that saw me open up a similar session of activity with four pull-ups ─ for the longest time, I have been limited to just three.

To my absolute delight, I was able to pull off four repetitions, as well as the usual two in the remaining sets. My denim jacket was getting fairly wet by this time, but I had a sweatshirt and tee-shirt beneath it. And this time, I was going to do my best to remember to weigh myself after my walk, exactly as I was dressed while doing the pull-ups.

My walk here in north Surrey was not too remarkable. I didn't plan on any jogging in the stretch of 100th Avenue between 140th and 148th Streets (Google Map) because when I last did so a week ago, I ended up with considerable pain on the inner side of my left knee ─ even a couple of days later, it still felt like a bone had cracked, but the pain would ease away if I remained mobile. It was only a problem whenever I stood up after sitting or lying down for a length of time. I would barely manage to put my weight on the knee, let alone do any walking.

Notwithstanding, and despite how crestfallen I had been in the prior early evening, I was feeling good on this walk ─ unusually so. I even did my best to try and commune with God. Consequently, I did do some very easy jogging along 100th Avenue, not trying to push myself.

The rain was true rain by this time ─ it was no longer even a steady spray. I was becoming rather wet. Yet after I was well on my way along 96th Avenue after departing from 148th Street and heading for Green Timbers Way (Google Map), the rain essentially stopped. This situation held for 1½ - two miles, by which time I was something under a mile from home.

By the way, where I turned right onto Green Timbers Way, there was the sound of a frog croaking loudly in the woods immediately there. It was a pleasant sound.

I felt good the entire walk, and my lively pace bore this out. By the time I was back home outside the locked front door, it was 4:10 a.m., so even with the little added distance at outset, I still managed to come in just under two hours.

Everyone had gone to bed ─ apparently even the idiot down the lane, so I did not have to make the same detour.

And I was back to bed by something like 4:52 a.m., if I am remembering accurately.

I enjoyed being abed thereafter ─ it felt truly good throughout, even when I was later awake and saw that it was around 8:15 a.m. Had I heard my brother already being up and watching T.V., I would have risen; but since things seemed quiet in the house, I decided to just enjoy my bed until at least 8:30 a.m. or even closer to 9 a.m.

He did rise soon enough, and around 8:40 a.m. went downstairs. I did not join him until after 8:50 a.m.

He is involved in a FIFA pool at the pub where he mainly drinks. I do not remember the details of the pool ─ only that his two un-chosen teams are the Netherlands and Australia. And as he was to find, the Netherlands were then playing Ecuador, so that game had to play to its 1 - 1 conclusion before I got possession of the T.V.

When I did get control, I used our Android TV Box to tune in some of Christopher James Pritchard's (A Warrior Calls) videos uploaded to Rumble today.

I will only mention two. The far shortest was Massive Corruption Welland Provincial Courthouse, and was actually an interview recorded on November 11 with "Susan", an unfortunate woman who this past Spring had attempted entry back into Canada from the States after driving all the way from, I believe, Florida.

She ended up with over $6,000 in fines from a corrupt and belligerent woman working for the Public Health Agency of Canada ─ if this is where the wretched "public health officers" hail from who infest places like border crossings and airports where they can terrorize Canadians who are neither fully 'vaccinated' nor who have no intention of submitting to COVID tests.

Christopher's help for people like "Susan" is exceptional ─ inspiring, even.

The video was actually supposed to be the second part of the far longer first part that we next watched: Corrupt Bar The Gig Is Up.

Sometimes I just about do believe that maybe Christopher is going to rally enough Canadians to bring Common Law to a courthouse where he can orchestrate that which is truly lawful, and not legal ─ a term that has no application to men and women who have no brook with the various 'service organizations' created by men that exist outside of the dominion over the Earth that God gave to mankind.

I need to give my eyes a rest from this computer screen, so I am going to wrap up this post. I still have to make two posts in my private blog ─ I will rush those. But first, I need some ease, so I am going to watch a Christmas movie on T.V. downstairs and have four or so ounces of that golden rum that I denied myself yesterday.

The morning was rainy, but things cleared up midday ─ or at least, the rain stopped. I even saw some traces of blue sky in the distance.

I had a deep early afternoon nap, during which my brother finished resting up in his own bedroom and left for the day ─ first, to hook up with a drinking buddy somewhere to play pool. He might be especially plastered by the time he gets home later this evening (it is early evening now).

My wife had to work another full day today, and normally gets up around 9:45 a.m. to start readying. But this morning, she got up at 9:30 a.m. so that she could cook up a pasta dish to leave for everyone.

Or did she get up at 9 a.m.? I forget now.

Anyway, she got away in the pouring rain in plenty of time to get through the fairly long drive to the restaurant for its 11 a.m. opening. I hope she can avoid partying after work this evening and instead sensibly come home.
