As far as I know, no 'trick or treaters' tried to visit us last evening. And by "us", I am referring to just myself and my eldest (28 years old) stepson. His younger brother had gone away in the daylit afternoon with his girlfriend; and my younger brother never got home from his daily socializing until toward 10 p.m. As for my wife, she has not been home since leaving for work in the latter part of last Friday morning (such is our marriage).
Even my eldest stepson was not home the evening through. He took off at some point while I was upstairs here at my computer in my bedroom. The only lights on in the house had been in the boys' den area; and when my stepson left, even those were turned off.
I spent some of my time watching a 2015 Christmas movie here at my computer, while enjoying a bit of boost from maybe three ounces of dark rum, and four or a bit more ounces of red wine.
The movie was The Christmas Gift, and the lead actress was Buffy the Vampire Slayer's little T.V. sister, Michelle Trachtenberg.
Incidentally, Michelle shares my October 11 birthday, although I am 36 years her elder.
She's of course no longer the cute, trim teen as Dawn Summers that she was during the final three seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Sure, she's still attractive enough, but her face and body are much fuller. In fact, in the Christmas movie, I noticed that she had become fairly 'hippy' ─ that is, her hips / thighs had become somewhat thick and wide.
It creeps up on a lot of actresses ─ most notable to me was Emily Deschanel of Bones, which aired for 12 seasons. By the latter couple or so seasons, that area had flared out badly and to me was definitely detractive. That might well have been due to the actress's pregnancy, of course. She just could not shed the broadening that accumulated on those hips.
It also happened to actress Robin Tunney in her fairly long-running series The Mentalist (seven seasons).
And I have noticed a few supporting actresses in cop-related T.V. series who are bearing that hip spread ─ it can look unrealistic when they are portrayed actually matching their male partners in chasing down the bad guys. This is especially ridiculous when the female lawman runs down a bad guy, or supposedly can run up stairs with the best of the guys.
But that's me ─ maybe you never notice this sort of thing, or would disagree with my impression.
Anyway, yes, I enjoyed The Christmas Gift. And I found my website source for it by doing a search with the Yandex search engine ─ Google seems to hide those kinds of searches. Just beware of the popups and forced new browser windows of potentially nefarious websites that these movie sources inflict upon a visitor.
And despite what may seem to be some disparagement of Michelle, had I been exposed to her as had been her male lead in the movie, she would have won me over as well.
Also, wouldn't it be super cool to have a loved one who shared the same birthday?
On a somewhat different Christmas note, I learned today that Chicago radio station 93.9 Light FM (WLIT) began their Christmas music format today, so I have been listening to the station here at my computer through iHeart.com, and will continue to do so until such time as a radio station near me makes the change.
Bedtime for me last night arrived shortly before 10 p.m., I suppose ─ it was when I heard someone else come into the house. I expect that it was my brother. Since I had plans to be getting up at 2 a.m. to quickly ready for one of my 5½-or-so-mile walks, I had no intention of becoming involved with him.
When 2 a.m. set off my cellphone alarm, I dutifully rose. My eldest stepson still seemed to be up, but he evidently went to bed while I was readying for my outing; and I was away by 2:15 a.m., I would say.
There seemed to be a bit more traffic out there than usual initially, as well as pedestrians. I attribute this to the likelihood that there were still people making their way homeward from various Hallowe'en celebrations.
I had my usual stop at a nearby elementary school playground to perform six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups (I am stuck at three repetitions in the opening set), and I also later did some easy jogging on four short occasions. Other than that, there was nothing much to report. The night was chilly, and the sky had some light cloud, but stars were starkly apparent. As yet, we have not had a taste of any frost ─ the weather has been too wet lately. It had even rained around mid-afternoon yesterday.
I was back outside the locked front door a 4:10 a.m., so I made good time. And it was 5:02 a.m. as I settled into bed. I remained there for a little more than four hours, but sleep was wretchedly difficult to come by ─ it was crazy!
When I rose this morning well past 9 a.m., I expected to find my brother downstairs watching T.V., but he had not even emerged yet from his bedroom. I got a couple of videos set up to play on T.V. via our Android TV Box, and had even finished most of a mug of instant coffee before he finally presented himself just after 9:30 a.m. This was most unusual for him ─ maybe he got especially drunk last night.
Regardless, when he did at last join me, I led us off with Christopher James' (A Warrior Calls) upload to Rumble yesterday of well over an hour: Corrupt To The Core.
As usual, he covered far too much for me to care to try to detail.
Next I tuned in one of Dr. Joseph Mercola's videos ─ it was almost 1¼ hours (1:14:18) in duration, and uploaded to BitChute this past September 1st: Finance ‘Guru’ Reveals Financial Collapse and COVID Jab Data- Interview with Edward Dowd.
In this video, I interview Edward Dowd, a hedge fund “guru” and former equity portfolio manager for BlackRock, one of the two largest asset managers in the world, Vanguard being the other. Over the past two years, Dowd has courageously come forward to awaken people to the collateral damage of the COVID pandemic.
Edward Dowd is a hedge fund “guru” and former equity portfolio manager for the largest asset manager in the world, BlackRock. Over the past two years, Dowd has courageously come forward to awaken people to the collateral damage of the COVID pandemic.
A global financial collapse is a mathematical certainty. Dowd predicts the collapse will begin in earnest within the next six to 24 months.
COVID provided cover for central banks and governments, allowing them to temporarily hide the reality that the financial system is crashing.
COVID also allowed for the erection of a control system to shield governments and central banks from the fallout from collapsing food, energy and finance systems. It allowed them to restrict travel and introduce digital IDs and central bank dgital currencies by linking them together with vaccine passports.
Insurance companies report a 40% increase in excess mortality among working-age adults during the fourth quarter of 2021. Millennials aged 25 to 44 had an 84% increase in excess mortality in that same timeframe. Since the rollout of the COVID jabs, the number of Americans who claim to be disabled has risen by at least 10%, possibly more.
I feel that I need to say that I enjoyed the interview far more than I expected I would ─ I had even considered not watching this one, for I have no finances to speak of, and the topic thus bores me.
But Edward Dowd is 100% enlightened as to what is happening in the world, and he proved to be extremely likeable.
The interview brought my brother and I to the noon hour, but he did not yet display an interest in seeking some bed rest before leaving for the day to socialize, so I tuned in a few YouTube videos to erase some time. Most notable was one I had already watched last evening that was just over 16 minutes long: Reaction on a 7ft GIANTESS!!!
Ekaterina Lisina is actually three inches shy of seven feet, but she likes to wear heels ─ in this video, they were four-inch heels, putting her an inch over seven feet tall.
I liked this woman ─ she had a very friendly and outgoing personality. But quite apart from that, she has very attractive legs. A lot of very tall women do not have much muscle development in their legs, and can even have undeveloped calves. Perhaps due to her former basketball background, Ekaterina has quite shapely legs.
And she's funny ─ a wonderful sense of humour! I have now subscribed to her YouTube account.
I want to wind up (or down) this post, so I will only say that I had a deep early afternoon nap (my brother had his rest and left before I was done), and the afternoon was quite sunny.
I will be sitting up late this evening watching T.V. with him once he is home. Right now, though, I want to make as quick a post as I can in my private blog, and then perhaps finally make that return call to Sandy W., my late old friend William Alan G.'s longtime ladyfriend.
