Although my younger brother managed to bus home last evening (from the pub he had gone to) by around 9 p.m., I was upstairs here at my computer and able to get to bed and avoid becoming entangled with him in watching any T.V. via our Android TV Box.
I did not retire immediately ─ I merely shut myself here into my bedroom where I keep my computer. I expect that it was probably after 9:30 p.m. before I got into bed.
My cellphone alarm was set for 2 a.m., and the intention was to be on my way on a 5½-mile walk by 2:15 a.m.
As it was to happen, I probably made my getaway at least a minute earlier than that ─ despite rising and finding that my wife was home and still up. She had worked the full day at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.
Somehow I managed to avoid being noticed by her, although I am sure that she would have soon realized that I was no longer in my bedroom (we have separate bedrooms ─ she was in hers when I made my getaway).
It was chilly out, but dry and above freezing. The sky had a thin cloud cover.
Early into my walk I made my usual stop at a nearby elementary school playground to perform six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups ─ I am still frozen at a mere three repetitions in the first set and two repetitions in the others. At least I was able to handle the bars with bare hands.
Note that later in the morning, before I had eaten anything and while entirely undressed, I may have weighed at least 188 pounds. So clearly, as fully dressed as I was on my walk, I would have easily topped 190 pounds. Since I am not quite five feet and 11 inches in height, and 73 years old, maybe my performance with those repetitions is not exactly pathetic.
I live in north Surrey, by the way. And as has been customary of late, while hiking the stretch of 100th Avenue between 140th and 148th Streets (Google Map), I undertook several short jogs ─ possibly five or even six such jogs. Their length was primarily determined by the intrusion of street traffic ─ I do not care to be illuminated by oncoming vehicles as a figure of entertainment, so I always took to a walk whenever I was threatened with having my sloppy jogging exposed.
I think that at some point earlier in the night there must have been a passing rain shower, for I found the stretch of Green Timbers Way nearest to 96th Avenue (Google Map) had been wetted ─ even the very wide sidewalk was wet, so it most definitely was not the work of a mechanized street cleaner.
Anyway, I was back home and outside the locked front door by 4:08 a.m., so my little bit of jogging ensured that my outing was just short of two hours. By then, my wife had of course gone to bed ─ she had another full workday today (the restaurant opens at 11 a.m.).
I never checked to see what time it was when I returned to bed, but I am confident that it was ahead of 5 a.m. And my morning was to officially begin when I later checked the time around 7:30 a.m. and soon enough rose, for I was quite certain that I could hear my brother with the T.V. playing downstairs.
When I went downstairs to boil water for an instant coffee, he had on the Ottawa Remembrance Day ceremonies ─ Ottawa is three hours ahead of us in time, so it was approaching 11 a.m.
We watched those, and never bothered watching any of the televised local ceremonies late in our morning.
What we did watch once the major part of the Ottawa ceremonies were finished was Odessa Orlewicz's video of yesterday ─ it was nearly 1¾ hours (1:41:27) in duration, but quite interesting: The New World Order Has Officially Just Captured Vancouver , BC, Canada As It Moves Forward With United Nations Worldwide Agenda "UNDRIP".

We also watched Christopher James Pritchard's (A Warrior Calls) video of yesterday, but which was only uploaded today to Rumble: Justice Not An Option.
Christopher always has a lot to say ─ this video had far too much for me to try and describe.
However, in addition to that video of well over an hour, there were two others of shorter duration that were of interest.

Pre-Budget Consultations in Advance of the 2023 Budget
Franco joined the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) after working as an economic policy analyst with the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and as a fellow with the Canadian Constitution Foundation. Franco has produced multiple reports and op-eds on the costs associated with tax increases, inefficient government and the unintended consequences of public policies.
I was very impressed with Franco's able and confident performance at this assembly. I hope that it was not in vain, but I do not see what can possibly be done with the government in charge that we have to put up with.

My brother and I are looking forward eagerly to see if Christopher's expertise with his concept of Common Law can actually help Shawn get back that money. If he can, then it will very much help legitimize a lot of what Christopher keeps proclaiming.
Unfortunately for my brother, we watched T.V. until just past 1 p.m., and this apparently left him with no time to rest up. He was soon gone to engage his daily socializing. I did not witness his departure, though, for while he was sprucing up in preparation, I sought a needed nap.
On another matter, after my wife was gone for the day, I checked her partially open bedroom window and saw one torpid wasp slowly climbing the inside of the window screen, and at least one other was showing evidence of being alive out on the small platform extending out from the base of the window. None of the bodies that were there yesterday are present today.
Somehow, wasps from the dying nest somewhere in the roof eave above the window are not all exterminated by the cold, but we are about to have a week or so of nights that will be at the freezing point. Surely, this will be the finish of any that have managed to survive thus far.
And my small guilt still remains that I am doing nothing to aid any of the survivors that are facing imminent doom.
I dare spend no further time on this post ─ I must make one now in my private blog, and it is already into my early evening.
