While awaiting my younger brother's arrival home last evening, I tuned in an episode of FBI: Most Wanted ─ episode eight ("Sport of Kings") of the third season. This is one of the series that I watch on my own ─ that is, it is not a series that I watch in common with my brother.
After he arrived home from his daily socializing, I then used our Android TV Box to tune in an episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow ─ episode eight ("Zari, Not Zari") of season five.
My brother spent some time during the episode studiously examining the insides of his eyelids. I, however, found the episode engrossing. I am very interested in seeing if the Behrad character will remain dead, or if an amazingly intense Zari will have inspired Constantine to assist her in bringing her brother back from death.
Actress Tala Ashe (as Zari) is exceptional in her role ─ and beautiful! In fact, she, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, and Courtney Ford all fulfill those two categories. I am accustomed to finding one such regular in a series I may follow, but I cannot remember when there were ever three actresses in a single series that attracted me like these three women do.
I next tuned in The Graham Norton Show ─ episode two of series (season) 30. And since the last time that I tried, I was unable to access the current season of The Jonathan Ross Show, I gave that a shot and was thus able to tune in the premiere episode of series (season) 19.
After this entertainment, it was an episode of Resident Alien ─ episode 2 ("The Wire") of season two.
Even though this episode took us to midway through the midnight hour, my inebriated brother was not quite done swilling beer, so he had me play "something short". And so I located an episode of Workin' Moms ─ episode 11 ("Bye Bye Kate") of season one.
This exceptional lateness annoyed me, for I had an errand to perform that would be requiring me to hike a half mile to the nearest credit union ATM in order for me to make a $200 deposit that I had no desire to make.
As I reported yesterday, my wife 'stole' $200 from my chequing account, leaving its balance at under $32. Yet there was a monthly life insurance payment that was most likely going to be debited from the account today ─ a payment of just under $209.
And if the debit failed, not only would the debt still be owed, but I would be charged $48 for having insufficient funds.
I threatened my wife last evening via text that I was going to have to get her sons to replace the money she took. Her response was:
Don't have to ask , I will deposit some cash tomorrow around afternoon
I then replied back that doing so would probably be too late. But I heard nothing further from her.
I had the money on hand to cover the shortfall, but I did not want her to know ─ she needs to be held accountable. And it seems that only threatening her with making her sons privy to her gambling recidivism is the only weapon I have.
Did I not have the $200 on hand, I would have gotten the lads involved ─ she is particularly afraid of the younger brother (24 years old), for his anger can be intense.
I felt left with no option but to hustle off last night and make the cash deposit. At that point, she had worked the full day at the Thai restaurant where she has part-time employment, but she was not yet home despite the late hour.
And so off into the chilly night I went, making the deposit and approximate mile round trip hike without any real incident. I saw a skunk on my return walk, but it was on the opposite side of a main avenue.
My wife was still not home.
I never got back to bed until possibly something like 2:20 a.m., but by then my wife had shown up. I was busy here at my computer in my bedroom (we have separate bedrooms), so I just closed my door to avoid any interaction with her. No doubt, she had been partying ─ maybe she even visited the damned casino again.
She was actually to her bed before I shut down for the night.
She had another full workday today, with an 11 a.m. start. Her routine involves rising for the day at something like 9:45 a.m. to shower and otherwise ready for the long drive.
She dutifully got herself up ─ I was watching T.V. with my brother. There never was any communication between her and I beyond my response to first her greeting of a good morning to my brother and I; and then her goodbye to us as she left.
It is nearing 5 p.m. as I type these words, and still there is no $200 deposit into my chequing account. The life insurance payment, however, was taken from the account by the time I made an online check around mid-morning. Had I not made the deposit, the worst case scenario would have become reality.
I am fed up with her thieving. I will not receive my next pension payment until late this month, but I am going to emphatically tell her that if she dares to make another of her late-night pilfering from my account to party and gamble away, then she is not to bother coming home ─ ever. This will no longer be her home ─ she will thereafter be unwelcome. She can stay wherever it is in Vancouver that she spends her weekends ─ sometimes from Friday mornings until Tuesday.
That is a conversation I fully intend to present the next time she is home for any amount of time, and my brother is not present. Her sons can be ─ they may as well hear.
But enough of that for this post.
I have taken a break since composing the preceding, and had a bath.
It began raining in the latter morning today, and this has endured for the day.
My brother and I of course watched some shows together in the morning, and employing our Android TV Box, I led us off with a couple of Tanya Gaw's (Action4Canada) videos that were uploaded to Rumble this morning. One was 16 minutes: Tanya Gaw Weekly Update: November 2nd.
The other was over an hour (1:06:04): Sexually Assaulted Students Silenced, Defender Wrongfully Accused.
Join us to hear the testimony of Garret Carr, a BC father who is standing behind his son’s decision to confront another student who was sexually harassing female students at Prince George Secondary School.

I then sought to play one of pastor Michael Thiessen's videos ─ From Queer to Christ: The Transformative Power of the Gospel w/George Carneal. However, my brother erupted into such a venomous outburst over that choice that I felt compelled to surrender it, much to my huge annoyance. I even felt like abandoning him as well, and telling him to watch whatever the blazes he felt like on regular T.V. (he doesn't know how to operate the Android TV Box).
My alternate choice was a 37-minute upload by HeartsofOak to Rumble on Hallowe'en: Elizabeth Harper - SNATCHED: My True Story of Survival and How the Police Failed Me.
Unfortunately, I had to give up on the interview after maybe 10 minutes. Either Elizabeth had a speech impediment, or else her localized or regional dialect was so thick, that I often understood nothing she said. It was no help that her image was blurred out for privacy purposes even though her name was on full display, denying me the small help of being able to watch her mouth as she spoke. That might have helped me understand her.
But I had no idea where she was supposed to have been residing when the incident she talked about was taking place ─ her opening explanation was wholly lost upon me, and that made the rest of her account virtually useless.
My brother complained that he could understand less than I.
The final video I gave a try had to be forsaken with maybe an hour to go, for it was running for over 2½ hours (2:33:36) ─ Out of Babylon with David Straight - Part 7.
Part 7 of a series of 8 videos presented by David Straight from the Out of Babylon Conference hosted at Church of Glad Tidings June 4-6, 2021.
Watch: The FULL Out of Babylon by David Straight Series:

We have watched the previous six parts, and mainly found them interesting despite the relevance being for a U.S. audience, whereas we are here in Canada.
This one had some audio troubles, but we will finish watching it tomorrow or over the weekend. David is deeply versed in Common Law (or its equivalence).
My brother sought some bed rest before leaving afoot to catch a bus in order to rendezvous with one or more of his drinking buddies at a pub. I do not plan to be sitting up late this evening, so I will probably be to bed by the time of his return home.
My wife is normally supposed to work a full day on Fridays, so I have no idea if the idiot will come directly home after work this evening, or if she will easily be persuaded to party again instead.
I may be having my scheduled early a.m. walk overnight, but I do have an errand that I would like to perform during the day ─ I cannot do both. Consequently, I am going to see how I feel about things as the evening passes. The errand can be postponed to next week.
