Double Young Emily Hampshires

My 6 a.m. cellphone alarm roused me this morning. The plan was some local grocery shopping at the No Frills outlet maybe a half mile away that opens at 8 a.m.

Blessedly, the abated light rain was to resume shortly before I left home (not much at all before 8 a.m.), so this was enormous encouragement to me to be making the public foray.

When I am at home, I sometimes speculate on shopping farther afield ─ say, Walmart a mile from here. But then I undertake a more abbreviated trip like this morning's, and I realize just how bad my right leg really is despite me being able to move about nicely here at home in my bare feet (except for stairs, of course).

I got back home to find that my younger brother was then up, so after I put my purchases away and dressed down, I joined him for some T.V. once I researched what to tune in with our Android TV Box.

When he gave me his invitation to begin using that device, I led us off with a 55-minute (55:15) video streamed yesterday to Rumble's Stew Peters Network channel: Unveiling Cancer Truths: B-17, Laetrile, and the Fight for Natural Healing.

Join Christopher Key and guest John Richardson on a powerful episode of the Christopher Key Show as they dive deep into the controversial topic of cancer and natural healing. Discover the truth about B-17 (Laetrile), its history, and its potential as a natural approach to fighting cancer. From personal stories, including Christopher’s emotional journey with his father’s cancer diagnosis, to shocking revelations about suppressed cures and government cover-ups, this episode challenges conventional narratives. Learn about the science behind apricot seeds, metabolic therapy, and why cancer may be a deficiency disease.

We were only to watch half of the video ─ the recurringly frequent commercialization became too much for my brother, even though he has an interest in the subject of laetrile. As well, Christopher Key and John Richardson, Jr., came across as if they were providing a Christian revivalist production, and it really did get to become too excessive.

So on an unplanned whim I tuned in a 40-minute (40:44) video published two days ago to Rumble's Candace Show Podcast channel: Emmanuel Macron Had A “Sugar Daddy". Kanye Drops A Documentary. | Candace Ep 228.

The media reports the timely deaths of two people in Brigitte's family, I get an interesting email detailing some background info on Emmanuel Macron, and Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has dropped a trailer for an upcoming documentary.

We did sit through all of that one.

We finished up with the 1997 movie that we had watched just over 17 minutes of yesterday ─ 1997's Dead Innocent.

It was one I had previously recorded because it featured Emily Hampshire in one of her earliest acting gigs when she was a teenager. However, the audio was poor, with a constant hollow background roar as if it was being recorded in a ... well, a large tin can or something similar.

It seemed more of a T.V. movie, but it was good enough. If interested, I suspect that my download source was this OK.ru link.

Following the movie my brother returned to his bedroom for further rest. I knew that he was practically out of beer, so I presumed that he would be making a 'beer run' after he got up again.

I did not yet require a resupply, but I felt it better to be overstocked than undersupplied, so I had already determined that I would accompany him ─ it's beyond me to walk the four-mile round trip anymore.

But I needed a nap.

I performed poorly ─ probably I was too anxious about missing out on this opportunity to ride along. But at least I had risen again while he was still home.

And so I got to go along. I not only bought a further two dozen cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol), but also a four-litre box of Sommet Rouge wine (12% alcohol).

Drinking even at home sure ain't cheap. However, I cannot recall what I was quoted, and I declined a copy of the receipt. Could it have been $70.10? That actually seems too small, but maybe it's correct.

By this time the sky had some clearing breaks that resulted in markedly warm sunshine anytime it bathed us. Things never did clear right up by any long shot, but maybe by tomorrow afternoon I will be back to sunning ─ today was my third consecutive day off.

I wish that I could just remain deeply coloured. Or else ─ and better ─ that I lived somewhere remoter where I could venture outside anytime of the day and not see bloody people ─ primarily South Asians ─  everywhere. I crave peace and privacy, for there is none here anymore. I live in a virtual ghetto.

I never have felt properly slept this afternoon.

At present it is 6:16 p.m., so I am going to break from this post to round up a small supper to eat, and then I will watch a couple of shows here on my bedside computer to justify some drinking.

After eating, I tuned in Rescue: HI-Surf ─ episode four ("Kick Out") of season one. It was good ─ the episodes are always interesting, I find.

My source was this GOOJARA.to link. And I only indulged in one beer. Then. The evening was young ─ not yet 8 p.m. And my brother evidently home.

I next tuned in Crisis ─ episode five ("Designated Allies") of the only season. It's quite surprising how young Halston Sage is in the series ─ my reason for following it. I've got to confess that I'm also liking her fellow prisoner / schoolmate played by Stevie Lynn Jones.

My episode source this time was yet another GOOJARA.to link. And I managed my can of beer so well that I had sufficient left over to dare an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? featuring an extremely young Emily Hampshire ─ 'twas episode four ("The Tale of Cutter's Treasure: Part 1") of season four.

My source was this Archive.org link. The entire series is there. Since the episode link is very complex and is likely to change in time, I recommend just finding the episode by progressing from the beginning here, if interested. Emily could have been as young as 13, but she may have been around 16. If so, no way did she look 16 to me ─ she looked to be barely a teen.

I'm not going to watch the conclusion of that story, for Emily is apparently not in the cast for that episode. However, at some point I will also watch episode 11 ("The Tale of the Vacant Lot") of season five, for she appears in that episode as well.

I'm going to soon start shutting down for the night. A second can of beer was all I required ─ the box of wine is unbroached. Right now it is 10:23 p.m., but my early morning tomorrow is yet not fully decided.
