Help Each Other

My bedtime last night was possibly a little after 11 p.m., so of course I never set my alarm for any outings. Besides, I was considering doing some early morning local grocery shopping a half mile away once the store opened at 8 a.m.

Well, that was not to get done. Although I did rise ahead of 6 a.m., when I was set to go downstairs to water the front yard garden plants, I discovered my younger brother already watching T.V. in the living room.

So the flowers-watering was my only destination outside the front door. Still, after the watering I did go to the backyard tool shed for what has become my latest norm in exercising out there, dreadfully difficult though it is:

  • Two sets of pull-ups (five and two repetitions)
  • Two sets of chin-ups (three repetitions in both sets)
  • Two sets of pull-ups between a pair of bars (two repetitions in each set)

I held the very final pull-up's dead hang for a 50-count.

Then came the 31 full flat-footed squats: 20 assisted, 10 unassisted, and one unassisted held in the full squat position for a 100-count before the unpleasant rise.

Naturally, the half dozen sets of pull-ups and chin-ups had a 30-count break between each.

I suppose that it was around 7:30 a.m. when I finally joined my brother for some T.V. and my day's first of two mugs of instant coffee with the works (I had the second mug after my afternoon sunning).

Via our Android TV Box, we were to watch two videos.

The first was a 2020 documentary titled Out of Shadows. At just over 1¼ hours (1:17:55), my source had been published April 4, 2022, to Rumble: Out Of Shadows (2020) - Documentary Exposing Satanism in High Places.

Neither my brother nor I were to notice it as being familiar, but I see that it crops up in this blog's "labels" ─ I see no reason to have previously listed it unless it was because we had watched it.

Anyway, suspecting that my brother was not to be sitting up all that much longer, I just tuned in a 40-minute (40:49) video streamed earlier today to YouTube's Krayden's Right with David Krayden channel: Trump Mops the Floor with Carney | Stand on Guard.

The government invasion of an ostrich farm, the Freedom Convoy trial and the cancelation of Sean Feucht all represent the end of democracy in Canada? How are these three events related? Tune in this morning to find out.

Canada’s freedom is under threat, and the truth is being silenced. From government overreach to censorship of peaceful protests and faith-based gatherings, Canada’s political landscape is spiraling into chaos. Why is an ostrich farm facing property seizures without evidence? Why are Christian performers being banned while extreme behavior is tolerated? Why are peaceful protesters like Chris Barber and Tamara Lich facing years in prison for standing up for their rights? It’s a political catastrophe, and the mainstream media won’t tell you the truth.

It may have only been 10:30 a.m. once the video was done, and my brother was then set for his return to his bedroom.

I think that I was back to bed by 11 a.m., although it could have been later. It was around 12:45 p.m. at latest when I checked the time and rose following some sleep. I had hoped to do better than that.

My brother had yet to emerge anew from his own bedroom, but Bev was downstairs watching T.V.

He did anon come forth, but he never left afoot for public transit until after 2 p.m. to take him off to engage his social drinking ─ due to that, I never commenced my sunning until 2:20 p.m., continuing with it until 3:52 p.m. So, just over 1½ hours.

A weather report in the early morning on T.V. had indicated that by Tuesday, I believe, we are predicted to be in for some wet weather. If so, cloudy weather may be in store before then, limiting my sunning. Probably tomorrow will be okay, but what about Monday?

This has been one of the longest stretches of my life of regular (i.e., unbroken) daily sunning, but I could be wrong about that. At any rate, I'm looking good and bronzed.

This is a bath day, so here at 5:34 p.m. I am going to take a blogging break and get around to taking care of that cleansing chore.

⭕⭕⭕

My naked weigh-in for the bath was right around 175 pounds.

Then following a light supper, I tuned in Rescue: HI-Surf ─ episode three ("The Deep End") of its only season. My source was this uFLIX.to link. The episode finished around 8:30 p.m. or soon after.

I'm still liking the series ─ and more so as I learn about the characters and watch the actors portraying them.

As reported in my blog yesterday, I rudely discovered that my beer supply was exhausted, and I have scant likelihood of hitching a ride with my brother for more any earlier than Monday ─ he has over 30 cans in his supply, I am sure.

So I broached a birthday or Christmas gift from my two stepsons ─ a 750ml bottle of Jim Beam Black Extra-Aged Bourbon (43% alcohol). I want to treat it gently, so I thus far have had 1½ shot glasses of this rare treat.

I will finish the last half of the shot glass while watching a second show, and broach a 2024 bottle of Chilean SEN red wine for a glass tumbler of that.

It sounds like my brother has been home a while.

I next watched Crisis ─ episode four ("We Were Supposed to Help Each Other") of the only season. My source was this GOOJARA.to link.

Gosh, Halston Sage was so beguiling, and looks to me to have been younger than her 20 years at that time!

The episode was darned good. I just hope that the series ends with the executions of the 'bad guys', 'cause from everything that I've seen thus far, I can't image how any of 'em are good people.

I'm later getting to bed than I ever intended ─ as usual of late.

I will be doing early grocery shopping ─ probably at the store half a mile from here that opens at 8 a.m. Because I have not walked anywhere since last Sunday, I don't know if I have succeeded in strengthening my bad right leg for more distant walks.

Anyway, it is presently 10:22 p.m., and I probably still should brush my teeth after shutting down everything here on my computer.
