Unwinnable War

I may have to try getting to bed around 9 p.m., for 10 p.m. just is not working. I am sure that I managed to be no later than 10 p.m. last night, and with my cellphone alarm set for 3:30 a.m. But when my alarm sounded and roused me, I could not face getting up and having a repeat of the weariness I felt over the previous two mornings.

Thus I resolved to return to bed and rise a little while later after some further sleep.

Well, maybe I tried to sleep until 4:15 or even 4:30 a.m., but it was not happening, so I found myself rising anyway, knowing full well that I was unavoidably going to have yet a third consecutive morning marked with a strong decline in well-being due to ineluctable grogginess from an insufficience of proper sleep.

After 5:30 a.m. when it was getting light enough outside to see to water the front yard flowers, I went forth; but the sky was so overcast, and the earth still seemingly damp, that I forwent the chore. If the day was to remain overcast, rain is now being predicted for tonight. The plants would be perfectly okay.

Then I went to the backyard and the tool shed. Exceedingly bummed that I had failed to make the ¾-mile round trip to the elementary school playground for the walk to work my bad right leg, and the six sets of pull-sups and chin-ups I tackle at the playground, I found a resolve to match my opening set of playground pull-ups.

The other five sets in the shed equal the number of repetitions I manage at the school; why cannot I do the same in the tool shed despite having to use a bar possibly three times as thick?

To my delight, I succeeded in attaining the opening set of six pull-ups, and still managed the same usual numbers in the succeeding sets which had a 30-count between them. And so two sets of pull-ups (six and two reps); two sets of chin-ups (three in each); and two sets of pull-ups between a pair of bars (two reps in each), and I held the dead hang at the conclusion of the final pull-up for a 50-count.

Then I undertook the 31 full flat-footed squats (20 assisted; 10 unassisted; and one unassisted that I held in the squat posture for a 100-count before rising).

In the house I fixed up a meal and ate that; then around 7:25 a.m., my younger brother emerged from his bedroom for an early start on T.V. and instant coffee.

When he had gone downstairs, I submitted to a decline and returned to bed to try and rest before joining him for the morning.

I was probably in bed till maybe 8:15 a.m. ─ I had feared it was much later, initially thinking it was actually 9:15 a.m.

I waited until 8:45 a.m. before going downstairs to fix up a mug of hot coffee and then to join him.

He was to turn the T.V. over to me at 9 a.m. to start operating our Android TV Box, so I chose to lead off with a video exceeding an hour (1:08:44) that had been published yesterday to Rumble's Real Truth Real News channel: ๐Ÿ’‰ Dr. William Makis Reveals Explosive Increase in Turbo Cancers After Covid Jabs ⭐ Ivermectin/Fenbendazole and More Can Cure.

Dr. William Makis breaks down prestigious medical studies that document an exponential increase of cancers in young people including unborn babies of mothers who took the jab while pregnant. The shocking evidence is beyond overwhelming. The COVID injection rollout was a carefully crafted premeditated plan for mass sterilization and forced depopulation! Dr. Makis runs one of the largest and most successful Cancer Clinics in the world. Also revealed are documented Cancer Cures that are being suppressed by Big Pharma in their quest to profit off of state directed Medical Genocide.

At the video's conclusion, even though it was not yet 10:15 a.m., my brother announced that he was taking his leave to start getting ready to head on out to buy a tarpaulin to use to cover the tool shed roof.

He, my eldest stepson, and I had covered the leaky roof with two tarps in the latter part of February, but the smaller of them began disintegrating in June and then the larger one started to split apart in July.

And so off my brother went for a new one. I wanted to return to bed for a deep nap, but I withheld for my brother's sake.

Sure enough, when he returned, he was gung-ho about getting it installed ahead of the predicted rain, for it is supposed to turn into quite a heavy system of rain.

With my bad right leg, I cannot do much ladder-climbing, so that chore was primarily my brother's. Let's just say that it was work. I was to discover how unbelievably unfit I am ─ my legs are pathetic. My balance was never very good, and often I felt myself to simply be doddering ─ a doddering old man, even if visually I seem younger despite my 75 years.

The experience of standing around for all the time that it took us was wearing beyond my expectation. And in the earliest afternoon the Sun managed to be in full display for some while exacerbating the experience.

Maybe much of my problem was the shortage of sleep, for I felt drained out there; and my vision was atrocious.

I suppose that it was around 2 p.m. before we were done. And once back in the house, my brother told Bev (who was watching T.V.) that he was having to get some more bed rest before he set off on foot for a bus to go social drinking.

I needed a nap so direly, but I settled upon just returning to bed for maybe a half hour.

After my brother emerged from his bedroom and left, I boiled up water for my day's second mug of instant coffee.

I shall not be exercising in my wife's vacant bedroom. But today is a bath day, so I might not have taken the time and effort regardless.

Right now it is 6 p.m., so I am going to pause from this post and have that bath.

๐ŸŸง๐ŸŸง๐ŸŸง

Stripped down for the bath, I weighed approximately 176 pounds. I rather expected to be a little heavier. My supper is going to be exceptionally light.

Desirous of a Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) and a show, I tuned in FBI: International ─ episode four ("The Unwinnable War") of season four. The episode was certainly interesting enough, but one scene floored me ─ it featured Agent Vo (as played by actress Vinessa Vidotto) in a dark alley walking in heels and a nigh mini-skirt. This was around the 20-minute mark.

Wow! I have heretofore been unattracted to Agent Vo's legs because she looks hippy ─ i.e., she seems threatened with 'saddle bags'. She is always in fairly loose pants; and even when she wears something tighter, that unflattering shape is there.

But in that skirt and those heels ─ Man! I wish that I could capture a video clip of that entire short sequence from the episode.

My episode source was this uFLIX.to link.

My second and final show was The Rookie ─ episode five ("Til Death") of season seven. My episode source was another uFLIX.to link.

Very good entertainment, as usual.

Anecdotally, in the previous episode when "Nolan" had a beautiful blonde unexpectedly show up at his door despite him having completely secured his property with security devices, it was revealed in this episode that she was the girlfriend of "Bailey's" ex-husband "Jason" who was to be sniped along with "Jason" by a hitman.

It took some sleuthing, but the lovely actress playing "Jason's" girlfriend "Drew" was Katelyn Pippy. Wikipedia does not mention her role, but IMDb does. Just so you know!

My brother was not home yet when I started watching The Rookie, but he was here thereafter, for by then it was probably at least 9:45 once the episode was done.

I have no intention to be trying to get up in the wee a.m. for an outing such as exercise at the elementary school playground. Sure, it may not yet have begun raining and the equipment might be dry; but I do not know that for certain. With the poor sleep ability I have, disturbing any to rise in the wee a.m. to discover it to be raining and the outing folly for the playground's sake, then there would be no likelihood of getting back to sleep.

So best I just sleep for as long as possible tonight. I will rise undesirably early regardless, but each hour or even half hour after 3 a.m. / 3:30 a.m. will matter.

Right now it is 10:41 p.m., so I am going to start shutting down and getting to bed. I am unsure if it has begun raining yet, but a peek out my window to the cul-de-sac reveals it to be wet.
