Even getting to bed comfortably ahead of 10 p.m. last evening was not the solution to me being able to rise at 3 a.m. for an outing to the nearby elementary school playground.
As it happened, I was awake after some sleep, and decided to rise to use the toilet to rid myself of some slight nagging need. I saw the time to be only 12:57 a.m. or so, and my younger brother was only then getting set to quit the T.V. downstairs and go to bed.
I returned to bed, but found myself just laying there as awake as ever. Likely some annoyance was at fault because after my brother went to bed, my youngest stepson chose to have another shower after having had one no farther back in time than 5 p.m.
What is wrong with the fastidious idiot?
The water ran on and on ─ I have no idea how it could have run as long as it did without the hot water tank running cold. It didn't seem possible.
After trying for a full hour to sleep without any change in my wakefulness, I rose. Certainly I knew that I could have undergone that hobble over to the school for some exercise, but I had been hearing some recurring rain outside, so I knew that if it was raining, there would of course be no chance to wipe a monkey bar dry to use for pull-ups and chin-ups. So that was discouraging.
So, too, was the bother of dressing for the ¾-mile hobble, and putting together everything I need to take with me.
And then if I did go, I would likely not be back to bed until at least 5 a.m. at minimum. This to me would augment the likelihood of a ruinous day where feeling improperly slept was concerned, for there is morning T.V. duty with my brother during the final three hours of the forenoon.
It was perhaps around 3:30 a.m. that I returned to bed, setting my cellphone alarm for 6 a.m.
And then rather quickly after getting into bed, I re-thought having set the alarm, and I opted instead to just sleep as best I could into the early morning. I would have risen at 6 a.m. just to have some exercising out in the backyard tool shed no earlier than 7:30 a.m. once it was light enough out there to see, yet before my brother was likely to have risen. In view of how poorly I had performed out there yesterday, I was exceeding my recovery ability at pull-ups and chin-ups anyway. If I felt up to tackling them later today, then I always could.
So unset the alarm I did. After some while I got to sleep, and I was not to check the time again until after noticing that it seemed rather light outside ─ it was almost 8 a.m. Rather ideal, really ─ I even felt rather well slept.
My brother was to emerge from his bedroom a little while later to watch morning news shows, but I waited until just after 9 a.m. before joining him.
When he invited me after 10 or so minutes to put our Android TV Box to use, I led us off with a 15-minute (15:37) video uploaded earlier today to YouTube's AnitaK channel: Professor Gets Arrested while Antifa Smoke Bomber Walks!

Next I tuned in a 28-minute (28:09) video streamed yesterday to Rumble's ZeeeMedia channel: Govt. ‘Media Bias Offender’ Tip Line, International Pedophile Ring Arrests | Daily Pulse Ep 155.
Four men in Australia arrested over an alleged international satanic pedophile ring, Health Canada report finds government assisted suicide now accounts for over 5% of deaths nationwide, and the White House has launched a ‘media bias offender’ tip line.
Then it was time to finish watching ─ in our third sitting ─ 1962's black & white To Kill a Mockingbird. I'm surprised child actress Mary Badham never racked up more roles than she was to do in her life. I wondered if the actress had a vision problem, for she seemed to me to do an unusual amount of squinting. I read that she may have largely memorized the lines of the actors she worked with and had been watching their lips, even sometimes slightly mouthing their lines, but I have no idea if that is true.
She's just under three months younger than my brother ─ I hope I can remember to mention that to him tomorrow.
Anyway, our source had been published February 19, 2022, to BitChute's ittabena channel: To Kill A Mockingbird 1962.
Both my brother and I had figured that at some point in our lives we had probably watched the movie, but none of it was familiar. We have concluded that maybe all we ever saw were clips of the courtroom scenes whenever the movie was discussed or mentioned on T.V. shows.
And to think that I had considered avoiding it ─ the movie was excellent!
I tuned in one further video ─ The Graham Norton Show; specifically current season or series 33's episode four. Jennifer Lawrence is sure as heck yummy!
My brother never watched the closing portion of Graham Norton, skipping out on the section beginning with the musical number. He needed more bed rest. I guess he was to run an errand in the early afternoon while I was having a good nap following my day's first meal; and then as so usual, he left afoot for a bus to carry him off to social drink and leave Bev occupying the living room and my T.V. that I never get to watch anymore outside of the latter morning.
My wife never came home last night, so I ensured that I had a light exercise session beginning around 3:30 p.m., even though today is a bath day. And with that said, I am now taking a break at 4:51 p.m. to discharge that chore, and then gather up a supper.
If I manage to get to bed ahead of 10 p.m. again, and this time sleep properly so that I can later rise at 3 a.m., maybe I can finally get out for some exercise. My brother left me his monthly expenses reconciliation cheque this morning, so I may even hike the mile or so to my financial institution's nearest ATM and deposit it.
We shall see ─ tomorrow's post will tell that tale.
Whatever, I will return to this post later this evening to conclude it.

Stripped naked for that bath, I was barely under 180 pounds.
So, what did I watch here on my computer?
First, I tuned in Heimebane (Home Ground) ─ episode three ("Sviræv") of season two. Apparently the episode title can be translated as "fairy," "pansy," or "wimp".
The episodes are always darned good, and this one possibly more than usual. I used this WLEXT.is link as my source, but I hate using that website because there always seems to be a couple of new windows that get forced open to questionable destinations ─ often they remain hidden behind the window I am using, and I only notice the intruder when I minimize my browser.
But I've gone this far with the excellent series, so I will remain steadfast and ultimately finish it.
I drank one can of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol); and the episode was all done no later than 8:10 p.m. My brother was not as yet home.
My second and final show was FBI: International ─ episode 10 ("Keep Calm and Deliver The Biotoxin") of season four. My source was this MovieGo.sh link.
I downed another can of beer.
I was concerned that they were going to kill off the "Booth" character ─ I am relieved that never happened, and that it resolved into a happy ending. I like the Irish "Smitty" character actress ─ Eva-Jane Willis. I'm relieved she's remaining in the cast ─ it looked like they were about to write her out. She's pretty hot.
I was also rather taken by guest actress Sofia Shallai. I would like to see more of her.
The episode probably ended around 9:10 p.m., and my brother showed up 10 minutes later to enthrall Bev and vice versa.
Right now it is 10:10 p.m. ─ will I get up at 3 a.m. and go anywhere?
