Supposedly 104 page views for today to this point at 4:17 p.m. Yet it will not be human visitors. If I get five a day, it is rather high.
Upon retiring late last evening, I never bothered to set my alarm, for I figured I would likely be awake by 6 a.m. anyway, but even that was not important.
After some good sleep, at a considered visit to the toilet after some wakefulness, a check of the time revealed it to only be something like 4:26 a.m. And though I tried for possibly 1½ hours to return to sleep, I was no nearer, so I chose to rise for the morning.
Then just a very few minutes past 7 a.m., my younger brother emerged from his bedroom. I had not yet even gone downstairs, and had been nurturing the possibility of some backyard tool shed exercising once there was sufficient daylight out there.
That activity was not to be.
Perhaps around 8:40 a.m. I finally joined him in the living room where he had been watching T.V. news programmes. By then he had gotten his fill of the repetitive reports and was set to have me put our Android TV Box to work.
I led off with a 16-minute (16:14) video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: 'They treat us like we don't exist'...OneBC's Dallas Brodie.
One BC's Dallas Brodie on SOGI, Making a Killing and the stepping down of John Rustad.
I followed that with a 70-minute (1:11:46) video published yesterday to Rumble's "Coffee and a Mike" Show channel: Venezuela, China, Tariffs, Russia, Europe, Japan, and Much More- Martin Armstrong.
Martin Armstrong is an internationally recognized economist, former hedge fund manager, the founder of AE Global Solutions Inc, Socrates, and Armstrong Economics. He talks what Venezuela is about, tariffs, Europeans needing war with Russia, China/Taiwan, The Yen Carry Trade, rise in silver, outlook for 2026, and much more.
Then it was some fun ─ Resident Alien. Specifically, episode four ("Truth Hurts") of final season four.
After that, it was an 11-minute (11:54) video uploaded October 3, 2022, to YouTube's History on Fleek channel: Why Napoleon’s 1812 Invasion of Russia Went Wrong.
In 1812 one of history’s greatest military leaders took a dagger to the heart of their own reputation. Before the invasion of Russia, Napoleon was perceived as an invincible leader of an invincible army. So potent was the military maestro, states across Europe banded together in hope of defeating his Grande Armee to no success. Yet right when he could do no wrong, Napoleon’s feted command made a giant misstep. Welcome to History on Fleek, today we look at Napoleon’s invasion of Russia and why it failed.
After that, a three-minute (3:48) video uploaded September 11, 2022, to YouTube's Dates and Dead Guys channel: WOLVES KILL BRIDAL PARTY | A TERRIFYING Attack in Russia reported by the New York Times in 1911.
In March of 1911 the New York Times released a brief article describing the terrifying death of a 118 people in a wolf attack. To make matters ever worse the people were returning from a wedding in Russia when the massive pack of wolves attacked. In this episode I simply provide an audio recording for the article which will be part of a larger episode I'll release next.
I have been working on a series inspired by this article on wolf attacks in Russia during the first half of the 20th century. **Spoiler Alert** Folklore and irresponsible reporting practices probably have a fair amount to do with stories like these but we'll examine that soon. For now, just enjoy the story.
Our final video was a sitcom that we got over halfway through before my brother announced his need to resort back to his bedroom for further rest, so its conclusion must wait.
An afternoon nap has not helped me feel particularly well, but at least I did have some light exercising in my wife's vacant bedroom (she never came home last night). Right now it is 6:18 p.m. and it is a bath day ─ I have to get that chore dealt with. But before finishing up this post I also want to watch a couple of shows here on my bedside computer so I can drink some Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol ─ I finished the last of my 8% alcohol cans).
I wish I felt better. It sucks being a virtual housebound cripple holed up in a tiny bedroom.

First up was Superman & Lois ─ episode nine ("30 Days and 30 Nights") of season two. I truly enjoy this series and all of its interesting storylines. And I am endlessly impressed how bloody fabulously built actress Emmanuelle Chriqui ("Lana Lang") is in her skin-tight jeans and bosom-enhancing tops.
My source was this GOOJARA.to link. And I held to one can of beer, having my very small supper (and my second meal of the day) after the conclusion of the episode.
By the way, my hot bath ─ bloody tedious as these long affairs are ─ did revitalize me.
My show ended ... well, considerably before 8:30 p.m. ... and my brother had yet to return from his social drinking.
I was not thrilled about the next show in my rotation ─ Krypton. And specifically, episode eight ("Mercy") of season two. I am never happy to have to watch one of these episodes; but often, as with this one, I become most agreeably immersed into it, and even moved.
My source was another GOOJARA.to link.
I think the episode ended no later than 9:30 p.m., and it sounded silent downstairs but for the T.V., so my brother was likely not back even then.
And so went my evening's second can of beer.
Fore my final show, had it been earlier, I would have dared a regular series episode. However, time was evaporating, so as usual, my third choice was a sitcom. I tuned in Kevin from Work ─ episode nine ("Escape from Work") of the only season.
The secondary or supporting characters in this short-lived series sometimes really carry it!
This time my source was a CineGo.tv link. So only one episode remaining in the series, and it's goodbye.
Initially I poured myself half a glass tumbler of a newly-opened 750-ml bottle of Cask Red Whisky Oak Aged Wine (14.2% alcohol) from the Wayne Gretzky Estates here in B.C. ─ it is reportedly "vintage 2020".
But yesterday I had read that regular bottled wine may only be 'good' for as little as two years, although it may range to over a decade. I had intended keeping this bottle, but that revelation deterred me.
Did it taste off? Well, after two cans of malt that may have been vaguely on the sweet side, it is possible that my taste buds were corrupted. It seemed exceptionally dry and even a tad astringent.
But I am no connoisseur, so I had scant difficulty after ─ deciding that I needed a full glass tumbler ─ in handling it all and enjoying the additional buzz that is my purpose in these alcoholic indulgences. My evenings hold nothing more until ... ultimately ... I succumb to my peculiar depravity after a week to 10 days.
No one should be condemned to live like I must here in my debt-ridden, crippled, old age.
The comedy ended around 10:10 p.m., and I was to hear my brother cough downstairs, so it was clear that he was home and watching tripe on T.V. with Bev. I'm sure he does get relief from that fare through his episodes of unconsciousness ─ that is, he is not missing out on episodes of the quality shows that I used to tune in for our evenings prior to Bev moving in late last February and soon usurping the living room because she does nothing else all the day long from the time she rises except watch T.V.
Does that sound bitter? Try living it.
Damn, I am typing these words at 10:33 p.m. and am sorely tempted to drink further along with watching something else. But I have yet to brush my teeth, so I will take that 10- to 15-minute break before concluding this post.
🔵🔵🔵
And now that is done. I have some things I must wrap up here at my bedside computer before bed, but it's going to be ahead of midnight. I plan to rise at 6 a.m. and try and get my crippled leg to hobble me the half mile to the pharmacy that opens at 8 a.m. because I have no token Christmas presents for my stepsons nor my wife ─ I am hoping that at least I can get some scratch lottery gift packs there.
I hate this. It is the bleakest Christmas of my life, I think.
Anyway, enough for this post.
Oh! Supposedly I now have 152 page views today as of 11:29 p.m.
Yeah, right.
