Due to corrupted activity last evening and on into the wee a.m., I forgot to finish and publish yesterday's post until well past 1 a.m. As a result, I had to backdate it to the previous day ─ something that is possible to do, fortunately. But I concluded the post with obvious abruptness because I needed to get to bed.
Somehow I never quite surrendered to the usual denouement, but the damage was done. Today was a loss. I never went out to do the planned grocery shopping this Family Day holiday. I rose with enormous reluctance to my 6 a.m. cellphone alarm for nothing.
Oh, I did dress and was pretty much set for the outing, but the financial extreme that I wrote of yesterday had me again irresolute and fearful of withdrawing the required money to supplement the mere $20 in my wallet.
Still, as 8 a.m. approached, I was still unsure about staying home. And then I heard my younger brother stir in his bedroom as he soon enough made his exit for the morning to watch T.V. news and drink instant coffee.
His intrusion into my morning halted any chance that I would be going anywhere. My long weekend had been entirely wasted insofar as went any early morning grocery shopping.
I felt so illy restored, for it may have been 1:30 a.m. or even more by the time I got to bed last night; and I never improved enormously, although some light exercising in my wife's vacant bedroom after mid-afternoon definitely benefitted me.
She had a full workday today, so she emerged from her bedroom soon after 9:30 a.m. and was away on her overcast fairly long drive about a half hour later.
Now, morning T.V. shows (via our old T95Q Android 9 TV Box) commenced with a five-minute (5:57) video uploaded earlier today (but recorded February 10, I believe) to YouTube's AnitaK channel: My Son's Woke Teacher Shows Bad Bunny, then Lectures Class.
I suspect that the lad's teacher is going to fast learn about this video and make that fact know to him!
Next I tuned in a 1½-hour (1:32:19) video streamed yesterday to Rumble's Man in America channel: Satanic Ritual Abuse Survivor Exposes Epstein, the Vatican & Who Runs the World.
Max Lowen joins me to share her story as a survivor of satanic ritual abuse and trafficking inside what she describes as a global occult power structure. She says Jeffrey Epstein was only the tip of the iceberg — a mid-level broker in a much larger hierarchy. We discuss the hidden layers above him, how institutions like the Vatican allegedly fit into that structure, what the Epstein files are revealing, and why she believes this system of control is now beginning to fracture as more people wake up.
There are a couple or so reference links relating to Max Lowen at Rumble, so please refer to the video link if interested.
Alas, we only watched 20 or so minutes of the video because my brother's credulity was taxed, I think. However, I well understood that, so I complied and backed out of the video.
I then tuned in The Graham Norton Show ─ episode eight of season or series 33.
We finished with four videos of which I can only identify two ─ one other we skipped out of in short order due to it wasting our time; and the fourth I now do not know its source and thus cannot cite it, but it was a biography of actor Jay Silverheels.
Of the two I can speak of, one had been uploaded November 19, 2022, to YouTube's Dates and Dead Guys channel: Indian Killer | Hannah Duston and the BRUTAL Abenaki Murders.
Hannah Duston is a polarizing figure in the history of New England. In 1697 she was captured by Abenaki Indians, who murdered her newborn baby. If you were in a similar situation to Hannah, what steps would you take to secure your freedom? Would you seek revenge? In this episode I explore the incident and provide my thoughts on the conditions of colonial/Native American relations of the late 17th century.
Again, refer to the link for reference links I am not bothering with here.
The second was 32 minutes (32:55), and had been uploaded September 7, 2023, to YouTube's Native Journals channel: History of the Cherokee Nation Tribe: A Tale of Resilience and Survival.
In the US, immigration has been a pressing issue, with politicians devising new entry regulations and stay durations. Ironically, the nation's roots trace back to immigrants, a fact highlighted by indigenous tribes like the Cherokee, whose legacy is interwoven with the nation's history. Amidst the waves of newcomers who arrived by sea, it remains important to acknowledge those who established their lives on these shores long before the well-documented migration episodes.
Welcome to another episode of The Native's Journals, where we delve into the captivating stories of indigenous cultures from around the world. Today, we uncover the history of one of America's largest tribe: the Cherokee. We look at their origins, lives, and current struggles as a vital facet of American heritage. Come along on this exciting adventure to learn about their history.
Frankly, I found it far too condensed and jumbled to make much sense of. Far too much was crammed into it.
After my brother returned to his bedroom for some further rest, the madness of last night was still polluting my being, so I dallied for some while ere getting to bed for a somewhat restorative nap possibly around 1:15 p.m. Obviously, this could have turned out much worse.
At present it is 6:33 p.m. and my brother already returned home 20 minutes ago from his public transit in the early afternoon to go social drinking.
I am going to have a light meal and then get into some drinking and three T.V. shows here on my bedside computer ─ I will return to this post in the latter evening to complete and publish it.
🟨🟨🟨🟨🟨
My first show was done by 8:10 p.m, as was a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol).
The show was Doom Patrol ─ episode four ("Sex Patrol") of season two. I could have selected a better-quality video source, but at least it played through ─ this Fmovies.co link.
The episode could have been so very much better! This was just silly nonsense. I don't know what's up with the people who produced this mess, but I have no idea why they think the viewing audience is nothing but those identifying as LGBQT. Frankly, the episode was quite disturbing, making it seem as if that group are somehow special and prized.
My second show was done (as was another beer) by 9:22 p.m.
'Twas Friday Night Lights ─ episode 10 ("It's Different for Girls") of season one. My source was this TVSeries.video link.
When I saw that this show was next on my rotation list, I was absolutely enthusiastic ─ I love the series and its characters so far. And this episode concentrating as much as it did on my sweetheart Minka Kelly's character was fodder of goodness, somehow. Towards the end when she relented on her decision to quit the cheer-leading squad and not attend the finals, that brought the tears I appreciate so much when I watch my shows. I need this emotional involvement.
Anyway, I took the time to brush my teeth, during which apparently my wife arrived home. We never coincided as yet, however, before I commenced my final show after pouring myself a glass tumbler of about eight ounces of Sommet Rouge wine (12% alcohol) and tuned in Rescue: HI-Surf ─ episode 16 ("Pono") of the only season. My source was this 1Movies.bz link.
It finished around 10:53 p.m., and there were a couple of points throughout where I suppose I began to feel the ol' tear ducts stimulated.
This is a darned good series that deserved a very lengthy run. I don't know why it was pulled.
There are certainly a couple of gorgeous Hawaiian actresses on the scene ─ such a plus!
I finally had contact with my wife at 11;02 p.m. when the dear girl returned the four-litre box of Sommet Rouge that I had given her ─ at her request ─ yesterday. I did not intend it as a 'loan' ─ she could have retained it with my affections.
I know that my brother will need to make a beer run tomorrow, so I must ensure that I am in condition to accompany him. I will buy another two dozen cans of Cariboo Malt and a four-litre box of the same wine. I just hate that I will have to do so via debit card ─ I hate shopping in person without using cash.
Alright, it is 11:17 p.m., so I am going to finish up and shut down the various browsers and their tabs that I have open, along with a number of apps and such.
May tomorrow be a day of considerable improvement, although carnal imaginings still are approaching the door I am struggling to keep shut.
