The plan last night had been to rise at 3 a.m. for an outing to the elementary school playground, and although I failed to retire last evening ahead of 10 p.m., I may have succeeded in doing so at the strike of that hour ─ but if not, then less than five minutes after.
There arrived a point when I believe I may have visited the toilet; but whatever the case, I checked the time and saw it to be something like 2:11 a.m.
The thought of trying to sleep more and then rising at 3 a.m. was abominable ─ I dared nothing of the sort! It seemed to me that it was tantamount to ruinous.
So I reset my alarm for 4 a.m.
When that alarm sounded, I had no desire to rise ─ my sleep was just too superficial anytime it blessed me with visitations.
So I abandoned the idea of going on any outing. Instead, I would keep my usual routing of some early exercising out in the backyard tool shed, and thus I set my alarm for 6 a.m.
Except I did not ─ when it was to sound, I discovered that I had stupidly set it for 5 a.m. That was too damned early, so I reset it yet again for the proper hour.
Obviously, not an ideal night's sleep despite technically being in bed for over 7½ hours.
I was later to have my half dozen sets of pull-ups and chin-ups with a mere single repetition in each set, and then I did some squat work to exercise my damaged right knee.
Back in the house I then fixed up my day's first meal, and brought that up here to my bedside computer where I let the meal warm up a little on a floor heating vent.
My younger brother never emerged from his bedroom until well past 8 a.m., and as usual I waited until after 9 a.m. before I joined him for some morning T.V.
When he invited me to take over with our old T95Q Android 9 TV Box, he warned that he had an 11 a.m. barber appointment that he would later have to get ready and drive off to keep.
And so I led off with a nine-minute (9:22) video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: Tumbler Ridge: Facts & Rumors about Canada's Deadliest School Shooting.
Then I tuned in a 16-minute (16:29) video published yesterday to Rumble's Libertytalkcanada channel: Whistleblower Says Pfizer Paid Off Certain Canadian GOVERNMENT Officials During Covid.
Shocking!! Pfizer Compliance Whistleblower Says Certain Canadian Government Officials Were Paid 11 Million By Pfizer To Influence Them During "C0VID." Who Were These Officials? A "Freedom Of Information Request" Must Be Done!! Were They The Loudest Ones Telling Us To "Roll Up Our Sleeves?"
Next I tuned in an episode of one of the T.V. series we follow, but we only got something like 23 minutes into it before my brother betook himself upstairs to begin readying for his drive this sunny day.
While he was readying upstairs, I tuned in and watched a 13-minute (13:46) video uploaded earlier today to YouTube's Juno News channel: Juno News CONFIRMS Tumbler Ridge shooter was TRANS.
A horrific mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, has left nine victims dead, plus the shooter, and dozens more injured.
RCMP has not released the shooter’s identity or background, but Juno News confirmed the suspect as 17-year-old Jesse Strang, who identified as transgender.
Police initially described the suspect as a “female with brown hair wearing a dress” and said the individual was found deceased at the scene from self-inflicted wounds.
Six victims were discovered at the school, one died en route to the hospital, and two were airlifted to Vancouver with life-threatening injuries. Twenty-five others were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities also reported two additional victims at a nearby residence, believed to be family members of the shooter.
In international news, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed ongoing U.S. concerns over the Gordie Howe International Bridge. Leavitt confirmed that President Donald Trump still seeks a greater American stake in the project, citing economic benefits from U.S. traffic.
When asked about his conversation with the U.S. president, Mark Carney described the phone call as “positive,” but discussions over ownership and concessions remain unresolved.
Plus, Conservative MP Mike Dawson has formally rejected the $10,000 pay raise that all MPs are set to receive in April. Dawson sent a letter to the parliamentary clerk requesting to be removed from the automatic increase, stating that the raise is “frankly distasteful” while many Canadians have not seen meaningful wage growth in decades.
I also tuned in a couple random wildlife videos.
After my brother left, I came upstairs here to my bedside computer, but I am almost certain that I was back to bed no later than 11:30 a.m. ─ maybe even 11:15 a.m., but I could still be wrong.
Despite how much time I spent in bed last night, I could barely believe that my time in bed for my nap brought me to 1:40 p.m. ─ I needed more sleep, clearly.
My wife was home as of last night, but she never emerged from her bedroom until shortly after I had finished my nap.
She was to prove somewhat sociable and even rather sweet. However, first she asked me for $15 that I gave her. But later she semi-teased that she needed a $200 transfer from me because her car insurance was due and she had no money for it ─ she would get hit with an NSF charge from the bank for $45 or $48 or whatever it is.
I complied eventually, but I warned her that she might well have to help me out after she gets paid next week and the mortgage gets taken from my account.
With her home, there would be no exercising in her bedroom, so I visited the backyard tool shed again for a repeat of this morning's exercising out there.
My wife was not home to stay, though. Possibly as early as 4:25 p.m. she left without a word to me that she was going. If this is typical and today was a day off work, she may well not return home until at least Friday.
I sure do need a financial miracle from God if I am ever to get out of my pathologic life's situation while I am still potentially capable of rehabilitating myself physically and spiritually, for I cannot achieve any of this on my own. I am far too vulnerable in so many ways.
The urge is present now for my usual bit of evening's drinking and T.V. shows here on my bedside computer, so I am going to take a blogging break and return to finish up in the latter evening.
●●●●
At most, my first show was done by 7:13 p.m. 'Twas A Gifted Man ─ episode 10 ("In Case of a Bolt from the Blue") of the only season. My source was this MoviesJoyTV.co link.
It was certainly an investing episode ─ these episodes are always well done. I was even slightly affected emotionally. And I'm certain the can of Cariboo Strong malt (7% alcohol) was blameless.
I drank my last can of Cariboo Strong with my second show, so hereafter I have Cariboo Malts (7.9% alcohol) on hand to start on tomorrow.
The show I watched was Legacies ─ episode 14 ("Let's Just Finish the Dance") of the first season. My source was this GOOJARA.to link.
The episode was also very involving, but it never touched me. I miss being emotionally affected when I watch my evening shows.
I never checked the time for the show's conclusion, but it was most likely before 8:30 p.m. Whatever the case, I then took the 15 or so minutes to brush my teeth.
My final show ended by 10:04 p.m., and to accompany it I enjoyed a glass tumbler of easily eight ounces of Sommet Rouge wine (12% alcohol).
I was not initially keen that the show was to be Harlots ─ episode five of the second season. My source was this OK.ru link.
There is so much intrigue in this series. It is rather odd, though, that the implied sexuality has no actual effect on this viewer. Harlots or not, the overdressed costumery arouses scant interest in the ladies from my perspective. Breasts are nice, but this constant display of uplifted and seemingly overinflated bosoms becomes almost tedious.
I reckon that there is no denying that I am foremost a leg and butt man, and little of that is ever displayed.
I am going to commence wrapping up everything left undone here on my computer to prepare it for a restart and my bedtime ─ right now it is 10:25 p.m., and I suppose that I will just set my cellphone alarm for 6 a.m., since I seem incapable of dealing with 3 a.m. anymore.
It was considerably different when I was not disabled for distance walking.
