πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠ Jab Pushing Bird People

Another afternoon blown away by abject dissolution that thereafter required I have the nap that I had failed to sensibly seek early in the afternoon ─ or even my day would be lost.

But concerning last evening, early into it I watched an episode of Cybill here on my computer ─ season two's episode 17 ("A Who's Who for What's His Name"). It was not too easily done, but I withheld on having aught to drink, and had a mug of instant coffee (with only cream) instead.

I was working hard at keeping myself motivated about making the 5.625-mile round trip hike to Real Canadian Superstore. I had just about gotten on my way when I noticed my younger brother arriving home ─ that put a rush on me, and I slipped away without him noticing as he backed into the open-sided carport.

It was around 9:10 p.m.

I was too timorous to leave without my Titan baton / flashlight / stun gun, and this proved to be a serious impediment. I say that because I was to have my route detoured by a loiterer lost in his cellphone and a coinciding vehicle cutting across my intended path. The result was that the route I took instead did not afford me any forest in which I could hide my Titan, rather than taking it into the supermarket with me.

The consequence was that I dithered about in the vicinity of the store until I finally concluded that there were no securing hiding spots thereabouts ─ I either turned about and walked back home, or I took the Titan into the store.

I did the latter, having decided to leave it with a gal at the information or help desk. And then in a distracted haste, I hustled about gathering together the primary things I believed myself to have come for.

Alas, I forgot the canned fish (sardines and pink salmon) I had meant to get. Naturally I only remembered well after I had left the store.

Part of my distraction had been concern that somebody would recognize what my Titan was, but I did have it in an original sleeve or sheath comprised of bubble wrap that the Titan had come with, so it was obscured from full identification ─ someone would have to extract the Titan a ways out of the enclosing wrap, and only a member of the store's security was at all likely to do that.

It was maybe around 11:45 p.m. by the time I was back home, and my brother was only half conscious. After I had changed into my home-wear clothes and come downstairs to join him, and with a can of strong (8% alcohol) malt in hand, I found him passed out and snoring.

I put away my purchases, and then joined him at the T.V., eventually taking over and putting out Android TV Box to work once I saw no sense in watching the programming my brother had on that he was not watching.

I tuned in YouTube, and began the first of what were to be three different MMA-type bouts. My brother revived at the start of the first of them ─ a women's match originally held on January 14, 2022, between champion Xiong Jing Nan and challenger Ayaka Miura.

It was remarkable how superior the champion was on her feet ─ try as did the Japanese fighter, she could not bring the champion to the mat where she felt she would be able to submit her. In fact, Ayaka Miura looked pathetically ineffectual by how impotent she was at bringing down Xiong Jing Nan who practically toyed with Ayaka, despite the latter looking quite nicely muscled, if a bit shorter.

I ended up having two cans of malt, and it was at least 1:30 a.m. by the time my brother had enough and left to go to his bedroom for the night.

I actually felt guilty for being the reason he remained up drinking, for he is in dreadful shape. He gets extremely drunk far too often, and gets 'normally' drunk on every night that he is not 'extremely' drunk ─ his liver cannot possibly be unscathed, and he surely has other damages beyond the brain.

I am drawing this post out ─ I do not have the time to do that.

Videos worthy of mention that I tuned in this morning for my brother and I to watch ─ and he did not make his appearance until past 9 a.m. ─ are the following four:

I will also say that shortly after 3 p.m., I realized that it was raining. And by 4 p.m. it was pouring; but it was only a passing lengthy shower, I think.

I am more than down due to my afternoon's conduct. My inclination is to maybe get out and buy some drink. Maybe even go and get the canned fish I forgot to buy last night. I have to involve myself with something ─ I have no heart to be rising at 1:30 a.m. to ready for one of my five-mile+ walks.

I feel so damned lost.
