πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠ Magical Thinking

Hands Off Our Kids

And so I fall and am abased again.

I remained home last evening, early watching an episode of Supergirl on T.V. via our Android TV Box ─ this time it was season six's episode 14 ("Magical Thinking").

I was to get to bed possibly by 9:20 p.m. with my cellphone alarm set for 1:30 a.m. to get me up to begin readying for another of my five-mile+ walks. I cannot clearly recall, but I do not believe that anyone else was yet home.

Sleep was typically broken; but when my alarm chimed, I was feeling rested enough. However, the hallway light outside my bedroom door was on, most likely due to my wife having gotten home from her Thai restaurant workday and not as yet confined to her bedroom.

There was occasional movement in the hallway, and I was certain that the T.V. was still playing, indicating that my younger brother had also gotten home at some point from his daily socializing and was also not yet to bed.

Wishing to avoid one and all, I had no choice but to micturate into the 1.75-litre yogourt container that has recently become my source of 'emergency relief'.

My brother did finally turn off the T.V. and come upstairs to his bedroom for the night, by which time I realized that the hall light was turned off. It was almost 2 a.m.

I was essentially set to leave, so I cautiously opened my bedroom door and found that everyone seemed to have retired to their bedrooms for the night, and I was free to depart undetected.

It was (I believe) 2:02 a.m. once I was outside and on my way. An online check had claimed that the temperature hereabouts was 13.8° Celsius (56.84° F.).

The moonless sky was overlaid with light cloud that had lots of breaks.

I made my usual stop early into my walk at the elementary school playground where I tackle six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups. I had not been able to weigh myself while fully clothed before leaving home, but I suspected that my weight was likely no worse than 185 pounds because my gold band easily came off my ring finger ─ often the finger is somewhat puffy and I have some trouble getting it past the knuckle.

With that confidence boost, I was able to match what is evidently now my new normal for repetitions ─ for what I believe is the third time, I managed five and then three pull-ups in the first set; three chin-ups in both of the middle two sets; and then three and two pull-ups between a pair of gymnastics-style rings in the final two sets, with the final pull-up held at peak elevation for a 15-count.

There was considerable leg and even foot movement in making those totals.

Of course, I finished up with 10 slow full-range push-ups in a declined position on a cement ramp.

Other than that, I recall nothing of note about the walk. I felt hale, and made good time ─ I was back home at 4:01 a.m. In other words, just under two hours.

Unfortunately, the good news soon enough ended, for I failed to properly get to bed a while later. I sat up in dissolution until well past 7 a.m., abhorring myself for my perpetual disappointing weakness.

I later believed myself to be rising for the morning towards 8:30 a.m., but I soon enough realized that it was an hour later. My brother was already watching T.V.

After my brother gave me the okay to put our Android TV Box to use, I tuned in a brief enough YouTube video (Enishi Full Performance | America's Got Talent 2023 Auditions Week 7), and then a somewhat longer (10:43) video that was added yesterday to BitChute's Wil Paranormal channel: HOSPITALS DISPOSING OF BABIES WITHOUT FUNERAL - BABY FORMULA BEING TRASHED - DO NOT COMPLY.

Maui residents who lost everything strongly voice their opinion over the Fires started on purpose by the government.
UK Hospitals are disposing of 6-8 babies a week without even a funeral allowed.
Baby Formula is being destroyed in stock yards. Can you ot see what's going on? ..... STARVATION MAYBE??
FIGHT BACK - DO NOT COMPLY with Masks or Shots or ANYTHING.

MUSIC: BLIND JOE _ DO NOT COMPLY

It was too eclectic, trying to cover excessive ground. My brother expressed that he enjoyed the American Country musical performance, though.

Next I tuned in a half hour (30:57) video added yesterday to Rumble's Canadian Citizens for Charter Rights and Freedoms channel: C3RF "In Hot" interview with JCCF President John Carpay.

Major Russ Cooper (Ret'd) engages Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) President, John Carpay in a fast-paced discussion of the state of individual rights and freedoms in Canada. As courts and whole institutions operate as though they were captured by elements intent on crushing our civil liberties, concerned Canadians are rising up to push back against overreach and tyranny. Strap-in for an informative ride as the contours of this war are explored.

The final video I tuned in was too long for us to complete; at almost 1¾ hours, we left from it early into the noon hour with well over 40 minutes of the video remaining. Since I expect that we will view the remainder tomorrow, I will not speak of it here now.

My brother sought his bed rest before leaving for the day to socialize, but my day's first meal kept me from immediately seeking my usual nap. My wife had risen as well.

Before my brother left, I made him aware that last night he put out our garbage wheelie bin instead of the recyclable bin, and the pickup had already occurred. We were now stuck with a nearly full recyclable wheelie bin for two more weeks.

My wife had me discard quite a lot of frozen meat in the compost wheelie bin before my brother had yet emerged from his bedroom ─ probably the meat belonged to him, but had been in the freezer for possibly years. He often puts material like that into the freezer and fridge icebox when he is drunk, and many times forgets that the stuff is even his.

I am sure some of the frozen material I discarded is several years old. We likely have frozen foods that are over a decade old. Who knows just how many years old some of it may be? He does not cook collectively ─ he only cooks something relatively quick for himself, if he bothers at all. Usually he is far too drunk and gets home much too late in the evening, and lots of what he has stored away years ago are family-sized items, so they have remained buried in the freezer.

Compounding the conundrum is the fact that we have had one or two power outages, and once I some years back I discovered the freezer had been unplugged and everything was nearly thawed. We threw nothing out, though.

Moving on ... the afternoon has been fairly sunny ─ I could at least have gotten some sunshine on my head out in the backyard, but I just was not into it. Maybe one afternoon when my wife is not present. Besides, this is a bath day for me.

My wife went out mid-afternoon for whatever reason, so it is possible that she will not return until early evening.

It is still the late afternoon, so I am going to have a little exercise and then take that bath. If it is still early enough, I may get into some beer. I must of course be cautious, for I have another wee a.m. walk scheduled. The only workaround would be if I opted to take a long walk after dark ─ something I could not do if my wife is back home first.

That's how it is for the present, at least. I expect that I will not be updating until the morrow.

oooooooooooooo

It is now still quite early into my evening ─ I held off publishing this post because I was curious of my unclothed body weight. Thus, stripped down for my bath, I was maybe a pound below 180 ─ which is pretty decent for me!
