For a change my cellphone alarm actually roused me last night at 1:30 a.m. Only my youngest stepson still seemed to be up, but I believe that I was away on my five-mile+ walk without being noticed.
Supposedly the temperature hereabouts was 11.7° Celsius (43.06° F.), according to my online check. And fully clothed and in a heavy denim jacket I weighed maybe 189 pounds; if I am misremembering, then it's possible I was 188 pounds.
I only had a token workout at the elementary school playground three or four blocks from here. It no longer seems possible to wipe dry of condensation the metal jungle gym monkey bar that I use ─ a sheen clings, defying a secure bare-handed grip.
By the way, I have managed to develop such pain in my left wrist ─ specifically, in that region where one would have one's pulse taken ─ that it may well prevent me from performing any push-ups if it gets much worse.
The night was dry, despite mainly overcast skies. I was able to wear my Honeywell UVEX Safety Eyewear, the plastic orange-lensed blue light-blocking glasses or goggles, for most of the walk. With the Fall here now, they are prone to fogging, particularly if I am exerting myself while walking and generating body heat. And of course, there is no sense at all in bringing them if even some slight rain is at hand.
I recollect nothing abut the walk that is worth mentioning. I left home at 1:57 a.m. and was back at 3:51 a.m. The house was in darkness.
I think that I was likely back to bed ahead of 5:30 a.m., but I am not positive. Sleep was very difficult, and it was even troublesome finding a comfortable position for my sore wrist.
I next rose well past 9 a.m., and my younger brother was already watching T.V., having earlier finished going through the Saturday morning edition of the Vancouver Sun that I subscribe to.
By this time he was bored with the repetitive news being presented on the three news channels he had been surfing, so I was able to straightaway put our Android TV Box into action.
I led us off with a lengthy debate: Dr. Byram Bridle & Dr. Matt Strauss Engage in a Scientific Discourse About COVID-19.
Dr. Byram Bridle, Associate Professor of Viral Immunology in the Department of Pathobiology at the University of Guelph, who opposes COVID-19 vaccines, mandates, and lockdowns and supports the use of Ivermectin engages in a scientific discourse with Dr. Matt Strauss, an Ontario Critical Care Specialist who supports COVID-19 vaccines, opposes the use of Ivermectin, but shares deep concerns about mandates and lockdowns.
However, we concurred after probably less than 15 minutes that Dr. Matt Strauss ─ who led with his potentially half hour-long talk ─ was too difficult to keep following. The recording was being done from out in the audience, and anytime his volume was up, then the noise from the crowd when applauding or laughing was just too loud.
Besides, despite how engaging he tried to be, any medical professional who seriously still supports "COVID-19 vaccines" and opposes "Ivermectin" use must surely be ill-informed at very best (and I am being kind). I am unable to respect such a person in regards to this position.
So I instead tuned in a 43-minute video (43:33) posted on September 21 to Rumble's TheWarAgainstYou channel: Documentary: All Wars Are Bankers Wars.
This is an old video from 2013, but it contains some excellent information. History is not what we have been told.

Written and spoken by Michael Rivero. A video by Zane Henry Productions I've made a new version of ‘All Wars Are Bankers’ Wars’ that contains a lot of new animations. Michaels' website is http://www.whatreallyhappened.com
My brother actually seemed to appreciate the documentary.
Entirely coincidentally, the next video I tuned in echoed much of the preceding video, but I am not going to mention it until tomorrow because we never finished watching it due to its length. It exceeded two hours, and early into the noon hour we still had at least 45 minutes to go ─ we will continue with it tomorrow morning unless my brother has more Sunday morning NFL games he feels he has to watch.
Apparently he rose especially early this morning due to ill sleep, so he went back to his bedroom early into the noon hour for further bed rest, and rose for the day and left while I was in bed endeavouring my own needed sleep.
I only had one meal yesterday, but embarked upon a Sabbath fast early last evening regardless. Since rising early after mid-morning, I have felt ill-slept and listless the entire day. An entirely naked weigh-in around 4:30 p.m. registered me at around 176 pounds ─ and it is difficult for me to believe that I went on that early walk just ahead of 2 a.m. wearing 12 or 13 pounds of clothing!
So either I have been passing a heck of a lot of excess fluid, or ─ and this is my preference ─ I am managing to burn off some flab. When I was watching T.V. late in the morning, I twice checked my resting pulse, and it ranged from 48 to 50 beats per minute.
I should add that I am relatively newly 74 years old.
Lord, I would love a thick, rich, and meaty / cheesy pizza! But I cannot afford to be wasting money on delivery fees, I do not drive, and even though the best pizzas I know of are a mere four blocks from here, I have no motivation or energy to be making that hike ─ round trip, it is a mile, after all.
My early evening plans are to watch a Christmas movie, and while doing so preface my day's first meal with some beer ... and maybe some spiced rum. I do not intend to rise overnight until 4 a.m., for tomorrow is my weekly hike that sees me doing some grocery shopping. Likely, I will time it so that I can arrive at Real Canadian Superstore at its 7 a.m. opening ─ a round trip hike of 5.625 miles.
You know, after dark I am tempted to have a very stiff mug of hot coffee with the works before I start on any beer ─ I know that much of how I feel today (an overcast one, by the way) is due to caffeine withdrawal.
We shall see. It is not yet 5:50 p.m., so nightfall is maybe an hour away as yet.
And now 10 p.m. has just newly passed, and I earlier watched 2016's Wish for Christmas. I had considerable trouble locating a source, for my searches kept turning up the movie A Wish for Christmas that was released in 2016 as well, and which I had previously watched ─ likely reasonably around the last Christmas season.
I confess that I had scant interest in Wish for Christmas once it quickly became apparent that it was Christian based and consequently what I perceive as being hoakey ─ with the acting to match.
It was not until well into the second half of the movie ─ possibly the last fourth ─ that I got caught up in the Christian element, and began rooting for heroine Anna's burgeoning conversion. I could not believe how undeniably wicked the teen came across earlier in the movie.
The teen actress ─ unknown-to-me Anna Fricks ─ came across powerfully once her character began losing her spoiled snobbery. Only then did the young woman's beauty truly present.
The actress who portrayed Anna's parents' secretary or receptionist ─ Alexandra Boylan ─ looked to me to be sporting one heck of a set of great legs! I see that she was also heavily featured as one of the writers who helped create the story for the movie.
Here's a tease of those legs:
I was not going to recommend the movie; but if you do have a Christian perspective ... well, I will only say that the last part of the movie had me weeping.
To watch the movie on T.V. via our Android TV Box, I had to resort to website Soap2day. You will need a decent ad blocker on your browser.
I have no idea why Anna Fricks got a lesser billing than did her movie parents ─ Anna was the key and central character around whom the movie was focused.
Okay, I have to quit this post and soon be getting to bed.
