Stories You Were Never Told

It seems to me that I was up about 10 minutes ahead of my 1:30 a.m. cellphone alarm last night, only to find that my youngest stepson had assumed occupation of the bathroom and was going to shower. His older brother was still up downstairs, and was still up when I had returned from my five-mile+ walk.

Before I left home, though, my online temperature check for hereabouts netted the claim of 3.3° Celsius (37.94° F.) ─ definitely I would be wearing a sweatshirt beneath my heavy denim jacket. My overall bodyweight was thus just edging over 190 pounds.

I managed to be on my way at 1:58 a.m., finding it definitely cool, but at least it was dry. The sky was littered with light and wispy cloud, and a mostly full moon had worked its way over half of its sky transit.

At the elementary school playground three or four blocks from here, I wore my gloves to handle the condensation-covered metal jungle gym monkey bar I would be using for four token sets of pull-ups and chin-ups; the final two sets of pull-ups performed between two gymnastics-style plastic-coated rings were not as wet, so I used bare hands, and held the final pull-up for a 15-count at highest elevation.

I finished with 10 slow full-range push-ups in a declined position on a cement ramp.

There was not anything of note about the walk, except that my damp gloves were proving troublesome into the latter half of my walk anytime I elected to carry my Titan baton flashlight stun gun ─ the night was only growing colder, and that Titan's cold metal was very apparent through the damp gloves.

I normally carry it in a gym-style bag so as not to attract notice to it; but when I have to walk through unlit areas, I will carry it just in case I feel I have potential need of its protection or find it necessary to use the light.

If I am remembering right, I was back home at 3:51 a.m., so I had made darned good time.

I didn't look at the time when I later returned to bed, but I hope that it was not past 5:30 a.m. Even so, I never later checked the time until 9:20 a.m. ─ my younger brother was undoubtedly wondering when I was going to come downstairs and join him so that I could put our Android TV Box to work and spare him trying to find anything of interest via our basic cable package.

The first video I used it to tune in was 1½ hours (1:29:13), and I located the video at a website called FreedomFlicks.com: The Unseen Crisis: Vaccine Stories You Were Never Told | Documentary.

It also seems to be available at 153News.net.

The next video I tuned in was our last ─ an hour long (58:54), it had been added to BitChute's Adaneth channel back on July 4, 2019: Rise of the Clans | The Bruce Supremacy (Episode 1).

History Documentary hosted by Neil Oliver, BBC Scotland 2018.

Neil Oliver travels back in time to reveal the story of Scotland's ancient clans. A blood-soaked saga of battles and feuds, loyalty and betrayal, love and death set against the country's wild mountains and glens.

Episode 1: Neil follows the clans as they rallied behind Robert the Bruce in his against-all-odds bid to win Scotland's crown. After their crucial role in crushing the English at Bannockburn in 1314, Bruce rewarded the loyal chiefs with land and titles. They rise to shape the fate of the kingdom in the centuries to come.

My brother made as if to get some bed rest before leaving for the sunny day to socialize, but apparently he decided to forego any and just got himself prepared and left.

My wife had been up since well into the latter morning, and was to have to work late in the afternoon at the Thai restaurant where she has part-time employment. I believe that the restaurant closes daily from 3 - 4:30 p.m., so she was to report in for that 4:30 p.m. opening ─ she has a fair drive to get to the restaurant, therefore it may have been as early as 3 p.m. when she left.

oooooooooooooo

I took a break from this post to watch a 2016 Christmas movie while having some supper and downing two cans of strong (8% alcohol) malt. I barely resisted adding spiced rum into my diet after the final malt ─ the movie had me transfixed.

The last half of the movie left my cheeks perpetually wet with tears, and my nose constantly snuffling ─ this proved to be my kind of Christmas movie. I hope that I can manage to find occasion to watch it again this coming Christmas season with at least my brother.

The movie was A Heavenly Christmas.

For a source, I used the Cinema HD app that I have downloaded into our Android TV Box. However, the movie is available online if you are interested, and have a decent ad blocker on your browser. Three sample websites are Soap2day, or MoviesJoy, or SFlix.

Lead actress Kristin Davis sure won me over. I don't recognize her from any of her listed acting credits, but I have surely seen her before. Of course, lead actor Eric McCormack is very recognizable.

As for child actress Jaeda Lily Miller, I recognized her, but could not place her into anything that came to mind. Nevertheless, her character was lovable, just as I know that whatever character she played previously was.

I have to get up at 1:30 a.m. overnight for another of my walks, and it is already well beyond 9 p.m., so I must take my leave right here.
