πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠πŸ’€☠ Some Suspicious Family Ties

Fairly early last evening I managed to squeeze in yet another Christmas movie ─ this one was much more to my liking than the one two evenings ago.

The movie was 2016's Season's Greetings.

I very much like little lead actress Laura Bell Bundy, and recognize her from some previous Christmas movie. She has some delightful mannerisms that I suspect are spontaneous or 'ad-libbed', and I find her to be most endearing ─ I would love to know her if this was how she is in 'real life'.

Supporting actress Kalyn Miles was a hoot at times, and I found myself looking forward to her appearances ─ especially after her character got drunk and kissed her co-worker played by Viv Leacock, who was also pretty darned good.

I could see myself watching the movie again in the proper company.

Incidentally, I also liked the teen character as played by young actress Jordyn Ashley Olson. This is of course a testament to how sweet actress Jordyn likely is.

If you have a good ad blocker on your preferred browser and care to watch the movie, three possible sources are M4uHD, or M4uFree, or Soap2day.

Since I never planned to be getting up overnight until 4 a.m., I was in no rush to get to bed, and now cannot recall just when it was that I did. I think that it was after 11 p.m. ─ maybe even after 11:30 p.m.

My cellphone alarm was to rouse me, although I was likely only deeply resting at the time. I don't believe that the two cans of strong (8% alcohol) malt that I drank before my supper during the movie had any adverse effects.

My plan for the morning was a five-mile+ walk that would culminate in some grocery shopping at Save-On-Foods when I was on my return and approximately a mile from home. I wanted to get away no later than 5:45 a.m. so that maybe I could have time on the walk for some exercise ─ but I failed miserably, and was not on my way until 6:14 a.m.

A half hour later than I meant! I don't know why I keep doing this to myself.

I withdrew $200 on my way, incidentally.

It was unexpected how chilly it was when I left ─ this was my coldest outing thus far since the Spring.

But I got everything done, and was securely back home before anyone was yet up.

I did lie down at some point for an hour or so after my younger brother rose and was busy reading the Sunday morning edition of The Province that I subscribe to ─ I rose when I heard him turn on the T.V.

Unfortunately, I was not to be watching any of our usual morning videos with him ─ he tuned in NFL games, so I left him to them. I did watch one video here on my computer ─ uploaded on September 27 to YouTube's Clyde Do Something channel, it just exceeded 15 minutes (15:54): Chrystia Freeland Has Some Suspicious Family Ties - Is She Actually Working for Canada???

I was never to properly return to bed for a decent nap. After my brother sought some bed rest, I became wayward. He ultimately left for the day, but I fed my addiction until finally sated, and then even though it was maybe 4:30 p.m. or more, I had to seek my bed to rest my eyes for at least an hour or my evening would be lost.

The plan now is one of penance. I forsook my late afternoon exercising, so in atonement I am soon going to venture forth into the night and have another long walk with purpose instead of just getting up overnight at 1:30 a.m. to have a walk then.

However, I am unsure just what I will do. Definitely some malt will be involved ─ I may just take a couple of cans and stash them for my return trek, for the store (Real Canadian Superstore) is a 5.625-mile round trip hike.

I only have four cans remaining in my supply, so probably tomorrow I will accompany my brother in the morning when he goes to pick up his girlfriend Bev at 10 a.m. to drive her to work. The government liquor store is nearby her area, and about two miles from here. This would allow me to resupply with another four dozen cans, and  keep me going for some while.
