Early to Bed?

X (or Twitter): Peter R Mac Isaac

It is generally disappointing ─ or hurtful ─ when my wife leaves for work as she did this afternoon without alerting me that she was going. At least she probably said something to her youngest son who was here working from home as he does.

Last evening after both of the boys had contributed to make up for today's mortgage shortfall, I left to deposit $100 in cash that I had on hand to completely erase the mortgage gap in my account the mortgage debit would be taken from. I had left home earlier than desired, for my younger brother had gotten home earlier than expected.

Fortunately I had prepared for that contingency and was lying upon my bed in rest, fully clothed in boots and jacket. He almost always comes upstairs to his bedroom to change clothes, so that was my opportunity to escape. It was 7:55 p.m. as I left my bedroom.

Honestly, I did not feel keen on also having a five-mile+ walk. Had I not needed to deposit the $100, I would have remained home and gotten to bed relatively early, undertaking the walk in the wee a.m.

It was no help that the old hikers I was wearing offered poor support ─ I felt off balance with each step, so I was walking rather slowly. Even after I made the deposit a mile or so from here, I wrestled with scotching the walk and just coming back home.

These were not the same old hikers I wore two evenings ago that I wrote about, so that makes two pairs that may have deteriorated too much in the couple of decades that I have owned them. They no longer afford resilience and / or stability.

Truly, I may have to risk buying a new pair online after this month's pension income shows up. My wife even asked me about my pension today ─ a worrisome sign indeed, for I cannot afford her.

At least there was no rain during my evening walk, but my slow pace probably resulted in me being gone for a full two hours.

I am considering not having an evening walk tonight, but I may gauge that on just when my brother gets home. If he is not here by 9 p.m., maybe I will undertake the walk. I detest having them too early in the evening ─ there are too many people out there, and traffic is busier.

After I was home last evening, my brother did not delay in turning the T.V. over to me so that I could put our Android TV Box into action.

And so we led off our viewing together with an episode of Yellowstone ─ episode two ("Freight Trains and Monsters") of season three.

When that episode finished, I warned my brother to pay attention, for we were about to watch the final episode ("This Is Not Your Heaven") of the fabulous one-season series 1883. I guess my brother and I kept hoping that somehow Isabel May's character Elsa would survive the arrow that penetrated right through her in the previous exciting episode, but of course she did not.

I suspect that her dying scene near the episode's conclusion must have hit my brother harder than it did me, for he has a daughter (even if she is 30 now).

I will probably eventually round up to watch some other things that Isabel has acted in, but I see that she became a regular on Young Sheldon ─ I can't stand that series, so it will be passed over. I tried watching its first season, but it became clear that the obnoxious title character was not the childhood Sheldon who was always bullied at school ─ this faux young Sheldon never seemed to get bullied and always had the upper hand with everyone he encountered (from what I could see).

Still, maybe it might be interesting to check in at the point where Isabel becomes a regular.

Anyway, after 1883 we were to watch an episode of Doc Martin ─ the premiere episode ("Better the Devil") of season or series four. I now see that I was wrong in believing that a character was being played by Line of Duty's Adrian Dunbar, for the actor is listed in Doc Martin as Malcolm Storry.

I think that I may have had this very confusion before.

My brother was to get to bed relatively sensibly, but I don't think I did until maybe 3 a.m. Over the night I had consumed three cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol) that did have quite an effect.

My morning was to begin today maybe around 7:45 - 7:50 a.m. because by then I was sleeping poorly.

(And my brother has now shown up at the nearly impossibly early time of 6 p.m., forcing me to hie here to my bedroom, pending a resolution on how I shall deal with this constricting happenstance. Meantime, I shall proceed with my morning narrative as if I was not interrupted.)

When my brother and I got together for some morning T.V. shortly after 9 a.m. and he invited me to put our Android TV Box to work, I led things off with Odessa Orlewicz's six-minute (5:53) video (audio only) from yesterday: BREAKING: Some UNVACCINATED BC Healthcare Workers Are Being Offered Shifts Again.

Then it was over to Rumble and an addition of well under a half hour earlier this morning to its A Warrior Calls channel: Emergency Act / Quarantine Act is TRESPASS [extortion] verified BAR members commit.

AI TRIED TO BLOCK THIS 4 TIMES.... KISS MY ASS IT'S UP FOR THE WORLD!

People around the world are being lied to and extorted by a private society called the BAR on multiple levels.
All people ACTING...as Judges, Crown Attorneys, Police and court staff are willfully IGNORANT of Law they have NO jurisdiction over we the people unless we have trespassed causing wrong or harm... or IF there is a contract we are in breach of... NONE of those required facts exist in 90% of all courts. This includes Traffic, family, criminal and tax courts... it's all fraud and it it time we finally stop this corruption and save this world together.

Legal does not apply to a man or woman learn the difference and this video shows people the corruption occurring with millions stolen from the people by these maggots who's days are numbered now on this corruption continuing.... 2024 is the year the people worldwide take back our court houses and common law will reign supreme which every Lawyer=liar who RE-present people as legal fictions will end.

We concluded with another video added just today, but this time to BitChute's TheCrowhouse channel ─ the video was not too much under 1½ hours (1:25:42): The World is a Prison But We Hold the Key.

My brother actually gave up late into the video and retired to his bedroom for some rest, for Max Igan would just not take his leave and close off ─ the guy sure can drone on and on. I turned it off when a musical number was used to mark the video's conclusion ─ if I wanted to watch a music video, I would do so of a performance relevant to me.

My wife emerged from her bedroom while I was having a meal quite early into the noon hour, but I was able to seek my nap early into the second half of that same hour, I believe. Meanwhile, my brother left for the day to socialize.

And here we are ─ he is home again and watching T.V.

I have no intention trying to have a walk this damned early in the evening; but neither have I any intention to get locked into watching shows with my brother ─ that would cancel all hope of an evening or a wee a.m. walk.

What I have settled upon doing is ─ now that I have had my supper (I was eating it when I saw my brother arriving home) ─ taking to my bed and attempting to have a lengthy nap. Heck, maybe I can succeed in sleeping away the evening.

It is possible that my brother will at some point pass out. If I manage some sleep and can surreptitiously discern that he is unconscious, then if it is late enough, maybe I will sneak off and have my walk.

Whatever develops, I might as well consider this post complete ─ and it is not even 7 p.m.!
