When my 2:30 a.m. cellphone alarm sounded, I was not deep asleep. Even so, I seriously considered not bothering with my scheduled five-mile+ walk in favour of needed slumber.
But I rose and slowly normalized to considerable degree.
At one point I could hear what I believed to be was rain falling on a roof.
By the time I was all set to leave, my fully dressed weight was 189 - 190 pounds. And when I ventured outside to discover a thick spray of rain soaking everything, it was 3:16 a.m.
I am unsure if I would have exercised at the elementary school playground three or four blocks from here even if it was not raining, but I suppose I would have ─ disheartened as I was.
I was beginning to get wet, wondering on why I had not brought an umbrella; but fortunately the intensity soon abated, and any rain thereafter was faint.
I recall nothing worth mentioning about my walk, except that there was no sign of lameness in my left lower leg and foot. By the time I was back home ─ maybe 5:10 a.m. at most ─ my eldest stepson was at work in the kitchen. He had another 12-hour day shift (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.) ahead of him at Tree Island Steel.
I came directly upstairs and shut myself into my bedroom, disinclined for communication, as he likely was too.
I want to say that it was so darned light outside that even though I could have exercised at the school playground on my return, I wanted nothing to do with the daylight ─ I just wanted to get to the security and anonymity of home.
I never returned to bed until maybe 6:15 a.m., but by then my younger brother had risen for whatever bizarre reason. I thought that maybe he had plans to go somewhere early ─ a couple of days ago he had mentioned thinking of visiting his daughter Rene across the border in Washington State.
However, he was still here when I later rose and joined him around 9 a.m. He just was not sleeping well, I was to learn.
He let me know that his girlfriend Bev was to have to need my assist in order to submit another online two-week report for Employment Insurance benefits. But because he had some sort of appointment with someone, he was going to likely be unable to bring her over. And so she was going to phone me sometime between 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and we would collaborate in that fashion ─ the online process now only takes us five minutes or so at most.
My wife had a full workday today scheduled at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, so she was up by maybe 9:30 a.m. and away in under 45 minutes on her fairly long drive.
My brother had watched enough repetitive morning news, so he was quick to have me put our Android TV Box to work. And so I led us off with two very short videos that Odessa Orlewicz published yesterday:
Sounds like Canadian farmers want to have nothing to do with Bonnie Henry and the others who are part of the bird flu scare agenda, as per this OTHER SHORT clip of the leaked "Bird Flu Zoom meeting" of Canadian Health "Officials" that I made.
These pandemic p!mps are complaining that they are not getting cooperation from farms. Could it be the farms know the testing is a fraud and don't trust Bonnie? Another clown is drooling over how to start testing humans...I just found out who leaked this meeting, it was Christine Massey. Big thank you to Christine.

Then it was a 12-minute (12:12) video uploaded two days ago to YouTube's Russell Brand channel: Rogan Goes Silent After Terrence Howard Unloads Explosive Vacc*ne Data.
Joe Rogan and Actor Terrance Howard discuss the rollout of recent medical, often mandated, productsWe finished with an hour-long (1:03:48) video published two days ago to Rumble's Deception Bytes channel: TRUDEAU'S TIES TO THREE NOTORIOUS CANADIAN SERIAL KILLERS and other news.
Deception Bytes discusses the news of the day focusing on the ongoing political scandals from a Christian patriotic perspective. In today's show we look at several timely and important news items.
My brother ducked out of the video around 10:30 a.m. in favour of a return to bed. He certainly did not miss much ─ the last five minutes or more were devoted to a couple of puerile YouTube videos that the hostess thought were worth subjecting the viewers to.
I doubt that I will select any future videos of hers, but best luck to her anyway.
I am undergoing a Sabbath fast, but today I have been drinking black coffee to keep the lassitude in check. Still, I did not want to face Bev's call without some further sleep, so I returned to bed ahead of noon.
I suppose it was around 2 p.m. that she phoned, and we got her report submitted in most speedy fashion.
The day has been primarily overcast, although at least once I noticed some sunshine out there in the afternoon.
The black coffee served its most serious purpose ─ mid-afternoon or so I was able to have the exercising I missed out on at the elementary school, and did so by substituting what is possible in our backyard tool shed. And now I feel much better about myself.
I also had the energy to gather together what I shall be breaking my fast with once it becomes dark. Since it remains light for so long into the evening now, I dare not run the risk of my brother showing up before I have eaten ─ thus, my supper is here with me next to my bedside computer.
I plan to rise at 4 a.m. overnight, for Sundays are my main grocery shopping days, and the plan is to be away by around 6 a.m. on my early hike to the Save-On-Foods outlet at Fleetwood.
Note that I was wise to have brought my supper here to have in my bedroom ─ my brother showed up no later than 7:45 p.m., so I shut myself up in this small room that is mine. I am not going to involve myself with him just so he can have shows to watch other than what he can find with our T.V.'s basic cable programming.
He doesn't know how to operate the Android TV Box.
Since I am going to be limited to my bedroom for the remainder of the evening, I might as well deem this post as being as complete as it is going to get, for I don't see how I am going to have anything else to be writing about.
