Perhaps it was no later than 9:45 p.m. last evening when I got to bed, my cellphone alarm set for 1:30 a.m. to get me up for my planned five-mile+ walk.
My wife had not come home, but that is far from unusual. No one else was up.
By the time I was set to go, I weighed (if I am remembering correctly) around 190 pounds; and with my denim jacket off, 186 or 187 pounds.
By the time I was outside with what seemed a clear night sky and a full moon, it was 2:25 a.m. when I was set to go.
I had my usual stop at the elementary school playground three or four blocks from here, and had my usual performance in the six sets of pull-ups and chin-ups (while wearing my jacket): 5-2-3-2-2-2. The final pull-up between a pair of gymnastics-style rings was held for a 20-count.
The dozen declined slow, full-range push-ups were a bit of a strain to complete.
Thereafter I was mindful to not push my pace; but even so, after about 1½ miles into my walk, the lameness of my left leg set in. The musculature all along the outside and the rear of my left shin down beneath my calf, evidenced the inflammation that inhibits my foot from rising up onto the ball to properly step.
Betimes it would seem to again normalize, but never for long. It was extremely crippling the last ¾ of a mile home.
During that initial 1½ miles I had foolishly taken the five or more minutes to explore a little terrain that I have not before walked. Consequently, that loss of time added to my lame slow pace later on resulted in me not arriving back home until 4:41 pm. ─ 16 minutes over two hours, which is dreadfully bad time.
It was already weakly daylit by then.
At least I did get back to bed before 6 a.m.
I suppose that I was up again around 8:15 a.m., having earlier heard my younger brother go downstairs to watch T.V. and drink coffee.
I don't like joining him before approximately 9:10 a.m. because he habitually watches morning news shows that I not only would not choose to watch, but a 9 a.m. show is co-hosted and the two personalities very much irritate me.
Around 9:08 a.m. he went upstairs to his bedroom for some minutes, so I cut away from that show and activated our Android TV Box, lining up the movie we had only half watched yesterday.
To my surprise, he came back downstairs and announced that he was about to leave to drive his van somewhere for some manner of servicing.
Well, that left me with time on my hands, so I was able to find and tune in an episode of a T.V. series I had not heard of before yesterday ─ Snapped ─ even though it has been running since 2004.
An E-mail 'pen pal' of sorts who lives in Texas had asked me to watch the episode because she had gone to school with the subject character. The episode was season 19's episode eight ("Donna Scrivo").
She also wants me to watch a related episode of another T.V. series I had not before heard of: Diabolical. IMDb seems screwed up where this series is concerned ─ two seemingly more accurate series descriptions are here and here.
And the proper episode is at season two episode six ("Control Freak") ─ see here and here. I will likely watch it at this Dailymotion link if it proves true.
Anyway, I had just finished watching the Snapped episode, and I saw my brother walking past the living room window towards the front door. He had left his van for repair work, and would have to return for it in the afternoon.
So I tuned in the movie from yesterday ─ 2008's Garden Party. That's the Wikipedia write-up, but IMDb is more informative. I find it interesting how both websites have such a different notion of how the cast ranking should go.
The reason I had originally recorded the movie (I had it on a flash or thumb drive) was because it was Jennifer Lawrence's first acting gig. But I never even noticed her ─ nor her character "Tiff"!
I thought that the actress playing character "April" resembled an early Avril Lavigne, not realizing that I was familiar with the actress, if not her name ─ Willa Holland had been a regular on the T.V. series Arrow as lead character Oliver Queen's younger sister Thea.
If you are curious about the film, you can presently watch it at this OK.ru link.
We also watched Odessa Orlewicz's 39-minute (39:35) video published yesterday: Interview: Mexican President Calls for "EU STYLE UNION" Of Canada/America/Mexico & Alex Newman Shows Who's Funding Chaos of University Protests. It's Not Just The Usual Suspects.
Mexican President Calls For "EU" Style UNION Of Canada, America and Mexico & Alex Newman Explains Who's Funding the chaos of the University Palestine Protests - and why It's not just who you think it is... and they want civil war. There are more elite entities/people/countries involved than you probably know. I Interview high profile/ seasoned, veteran US journalist Alex Newman (as seen on Glenn Beck and many other high profile shows.) You will not see this information on the CBC. They don't want you to know where the funding for social media organization of protests is coming from... Follow the money.

This video ties in extremely well with a 21-minute (21:36) video that I later watched on my own in the latter afternoon that had been uploaded on May 21 at YouTube's PragerU channel: Dear Infidels: A Warning to America | Full Documentary.
Radical Islam poses a significant threat to our freedom. The rise of anti-American rhetoric and violence in cities and universities is a direct result of the indoctrination led by those perpetrating a religious war against the West. PragerU’s short documentary features first-hand accounts from those who escaped Islamic rule and have come to warn America.
There was a little more to the description, so refer to the video link to see it all. I will only declare: What a beauty Sophia Salma Khalifa is!
I cannot recall that there was anything else watched. My brother sought some bed rest, and I had my day's first meal. Then before I sought my early afternoon nap, my wife was home.
We had texted earlier, primarily in relation to a legal debt she is being pressure to pay off. But once she was home, apart from a passing greeting, we did not further communicate. She got busy preparing food in the kitchen, so I took that nap, rising later at nigh 3 p.m.
She was readying to leave soon, for she was scheduled to work the latter part of the day at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.
Before she and I had any communication, my brother returned with his van. He and I talked for a time, and then my wife went out the door to leave for work.
My brother asked me if that was where she was going, and I confirmed. At that, he was galvanized to chase out after her for a ride, for she was to be driving to the relatively distant township where he had intended to bus to hook up with at least one of his drinking buddies ─ my brother does not like risking driving home after drinking remotely.
It requires at least two buses to get to his destination, but I suppose the trip is easier to face when he has been drinking than it is to deal with overcrowded buses right from the get-go whilst perfectly sober. Also, in the evening the buses mightn't be as packed as they are mid-afternoon.
The morning had been overcast, but began clearing up such that sunning might have been possible. But I had no spare time. And then late in the afternoon it began hazing over, and I believe that in the morning I heard that we are possibly due some rain by tonight.
I want to have an evening walk that will see me load up on 1½ dozen cans of beer, so I am going to close this post and rest my eyes awhile.
It is already nearly 8 p.m.
