Following an hour and 40 minutes (1:47 p.m. to 3:27 p.m.) of sunning this afternoon, I soon discovered myself to be feeling somewhat unwell. But I do not know if it is due to the heat exposure alone, or if I have pushed myself too much in a couple of other directions.
Last evening I only just barely made it to the nearest government liquor store in Whalley two miles from here. It was at least 8:15 p.m. when I left home, and the store closes at 9 p.m.
I bought a half dozen cans each of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol) and Bumper Crop Crisp Apple Cider (7% alcohol), and then I proceeded to wander about that locale in hopes of coming across 'a shady lady'.
Shortly after leaving the liquor store, I did have one contact with a possible after I had left the alley in back of the Dell Shopping Centre where the alley comes out onto 105th Avenue (Google Map) and I was approximately midway down to King George Boulevard.
She had crossed from the side where Church's Texas Chicken is located, and was slowly coming up towards me. When we coincided, with a slight smile she very softly said something I could not understand, so I stopped and got her to repeat herself, but I still could not comprehend what it specifically was that she was saying.
I concluded that if she was not pawning drugs, then she was possibly selling herself. But if the latter, even though she was pleasant enough to look at and was quite slim, she had on a very long skirt that failed to reveal what was beneath.
Did she have nice legs? Or was she hiding an unattractive oedemic mess due to a drug addiction? She seemed somewhat dopey.
So I gently declined in kindly fashion, and even then when she acknowledged my response, I still could not understand a word of what she said ─ she spoke so lifelessly.
I estimate that I added at least a mile to my walk overall, so in total by the time I returned home, I had myself at least a five-mile round trip trek.
I confess to second-thinking my declination of that young lady ─ I could at least have spent some time with her to better understand her. But the two cans of Cariboo Malt I had drunk were very much affecting me and my thinking throughout.
Upon getting home, my younger brother ─ now here ─ seemed to be watching T.V. But as two nights earlier, I think he only roused from a stupor as a result of hearing me coming through the two front doors; for after I had changed clothes upstairs and come down again to watch some T.V. via our Android TV Box with him, he was already unconscious.
So I took over the T.V. and located the show I wanted for us ─ Vera. Specifically, it was episode two ("For the Grace of God") of season or series 12.
As always, it was pure quality.
Thereafter my brother claimed to want something short, so I tuned in Inside No. 9 ─ episode three ("Nine Lives Kat") of season or series seven. I agree with my brother ─ it was poor or weak.
My wife came home at some point while I was watching shows with my brother that evening after she had worked at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time.
I am now fuzzy on how much more I managed to drink ─ was it two or even three further cans of Cariboo Malt, and then one of Bumper Crop Crisp Apple cider?
I felt pretty rough this morning when I rose around 8:15 a.m., not clearly recalling my bedtime.
My brother never emerged from his bedroom until after 9:30 a.m., by which time I had already begun watching a 51-minute (51:19) video published July 7 to Rumble's Deprogramming With Graces Dad channel: Hippocrates Warned Us [and so did God]; Part I: The Framework.

In this monocast Scott walks through the Hippocratic Oath warnings.
There is more to the description, so please refer to it at the link.
After that, it was Odessa Orlewicz's latest ─ an hour-long (1:02:48) video published yesterday, but apparently recorded a month or so ago: Official Government Document From 2008 Foresaw War/Bird Flu Pandemic/Mass Immigration & More "Surprises" For The Year 2025.
I accidentally came across this OFFICIAL National Intelligence Council/Director of National Intelligence document when I was searching for something else. It was written in 2008 and they "guessed" what will happen in 2025. It was put together by think tanks, RAND, Council on Foreign Relations and many others. It guessed that criminal orgs would be infiltrated/influencing governments and that if we don't have a life saving vaccine for mass amounts of mortality from bird flu/climate rules an "October Surprise" could happen for 2025 . I open the show with an intro first about what just happened to the US dollar and why the MSM won't talk about it.https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/in-depth-research-reports/report/global-trends-2025-a-transformed-world/
I was so weary by this time that I would gladly have tuned out of the boring thing if my brother had said aught, but he never uttered a complaint.
Odessa never fails to be utterly boring when all she does is read material. I can read, but I would never choose to waste my time on the stuff she dredges up.
Fairly early into the noon hour my brother sought further bed rest, and I soon enough thereafter was into my bed for a nap without having eaten anything this very hot day.
He was gone for the day when next I rose. My wife had risen just before I pursued my nap; she was not to have to work until the latter afternoon.
I did not intend to pass up the sunshine, so as cited at this post's beginning, I was out into the backyard early enough that she was still here. However, she left for work without a word to me.
I did improve somewhat late into the afternoon; and then early in the evening ─ my brother having returned, possibly before 7:30 p.m. ─ I shut myself up in my bedroom to watch Katy Keene. This time it was episode six ("Chapter Six: Mama Said") of the single season to this series.
I used the show as an excuse to have a can each of Cariboo Malt and Bumper Crop Crisp Apple Cider.
My Sabbath fast begins with sunset, so I shall be taking in no further calories until after dark tomorrow. And since I plan a five-mile+ walk overnight that I will rise for before 2 a.m., I shall be getting to bed reasonably early this evening.
By the way, I watched Katy Keene at this M4UHD.net link, and it played flawlessly.
