Panic Mode

Last evening I made the 5.625-mile round trip hike to Real Canadian Superstore for some minimal shopping, and was back home by maybe 11:30 p.m.

My younger brother was watching the last part of a movie, and proved in full grip of his consciousness.

When he turned the T.V. over to me ahead of midnight, I used our Android TV Box to tune in another short movie in the old Edgar Wallace Mysteries series ─ this time it was November 1964's The Main Chance.

My source was this link at OK.ru that worked perfectly.

Even though this was the fifth-to-last movie in the series, for some reason the opening theme music was changed. And although the film was exceptionally sharp, the plot was not. Too much was skipped over, making it difficult to follow along.

And this seems wrong to me ─ it is from Wikipedia's plot conclusion:

Potter radios Blake who is in mid-flight, telling him his plane is rigged with explosives which he will detonate by wireless. But Christine has already disarmed the detonator and is in the plane with Blake and the diamonds.

All I remember of Christine is her driving ─ a convertible? ─ along a busy highway smiling freely, as if she was on her way to rendezvous with Blake somewhere. Maybe she was already in France where I believe he was bound? Whatever the case, she was definitely NOT in the plane with him.

My wife arrived home during the movie, having worked the full day at the Thai restaurant where she has part-time employment. She quickly got busy watering garden plants in the front yard, and thereafter basically seconded herself upstairs primarily in her bedroom.

When our movie was done, my brother requested something not very long, so I tuned in 15 Storeys High ─ episode five ("Pool Kids" ) of season one.

He does not care for the series. His brain seems unable to recognize the different characters, so he never has any familiarity with anyone, and is constantly adrift by the shifting of vignettes, never understanding when the characters in them are not entirely new.

I am hardly going to continually explain everything to him as if he is mentally challenged ─ I want to enjoy the damned show.

Heck, I even correctly thought that I recognized Susan Earl as a tenant in one of the vignettes ─ I thought she was darned hot in the T.V. series Hardware. There was no sense bothering to mention it to my dense brother ─ he wouldn't even remember her in Hardware, in all likelihood, let alone be able to recognize her.

I kept myself to two cans of Cariboo Malt (8% alcohol) on top of the two of Bumper Crop Crisp Apple Cider (7% alcohol) that I enjoyed before my walk, so I fared well overnight.

I am unsure when I made it to bed ─ 2 a.m.? Later? I don't know.

I decided to get up this morning around (maybe) 8:18 a.m. My brother did not emerge from his bedroom until possibly 9:15 a.m., so I had full control of the T.V. by then.

Putting our Android TV Box to work, I led us off with a 14-minute video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's Redacted channel: "I SHUT PUTIN DOWN!" Dems in Panic Mode over Biden's Mental COLLAPSE | Redacted with Clayton Morris.

Democrats are in a full blown PANIC over President Biden's refusal to step aside. The Washington Post is reporting this bombshell: top Democratic donors are up in arms, openly demanding Biden step aside right now for the sake of the party and the country. Yes, you heard that right—Democratic donors are saying enough is enough and they're holding back their huge amounts of money.

Then it was on to an 11-minute video published yesterday at Rumble's ProgressiveTruthSeekers channel: Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger Form a Sahel Confederation to Fight European Neo-Colonialism.

NATO and U.S. IMPERIALISM - FOLLOW THE MONEY

Lena Petrova

Ouagadougou, Bamako and Niamey united to form the Confederation of Sahel States. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the heads of Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger. The main goal of the association is to create an architecture of collective defense and mutual assistance.

From now on, an attack on one of the countries of the Confederation will be regarded by the remaining members of the association as aggression against the entire alliance. In this case, all parties to the agreement will be obliged to provide military assistance.

It is worth noting that all three states currently have Russian military specialists who are assisting governments in training military and security forces.

That was followed by a 1¼-hour (1:19:29) video published July 4 at Rumble's Action4Canada channel: Uniting With Our Allies With Tanya Gaw & Peter Mcilvenna, July 3, 2024.

Special guest Peter Mcilvenna, Co-founder and Host of Hearts of Oak, joins Tanya Gaw to discuss the state of politics in Europe and the UK. The recent elections reflect a long overdue tidal change in public opinion, patriotism is swelling up, and the hold of the left is being washed aside. Their woke agenda is collapsing along with the Red/Green axis between Cultural Marxism and Islam, because the only thing they all have in common is a deep hatred for the West.

I sure do admire the courage of Tanya.

I forgot to mention yesterday that my brother and I had also watched a 17-minute video uploaded July 18, 2022, to YouTube's History at The OK Corral channel: The Comanche's Brutal Rise To Power: Lords of The Southern Plains.

Anyway, we only got a third of the way through a further 1½-hour video this morning before cancelling out of it so that my brother could have some further bed rest before leaving for the day, so I will save mention of it until we have finished watching it.

Since I desired to sun this afternoon, I forwent having my day's first meal in favour of a nap. I think that my wife was just then rising for the day.

When later I rose ─ no later than 2 p.m., I believe ─ my brother and my wife were both gone. I thought that maybe she was just shopping, but she never returned.

I must surely be mistaken, for I neglected to check the time when I began my sunning. But it sure does seem to me that I may have been out there for nigh two hours.

That's good, for I will not have time tomorrow ─ it's a bath day. I cannot budget afternoon time for sunning, blogging, and bathing; and still expect to get out for an evening walk, as I hope to do tomorrow.

It's also my baby brother's 72nd birthday.

Okay, I have to get to bed pretty soon, for I want to try and get up as early as 1:30 -145 a.m. to ready for a five-mile+ walk overnight.

Following my supper, I have enjoyed an episode of 9-1-1: Lone Star this evening ─ episode 11 ("Double Trouble") of season four ─ while hydrating with a can each of Cariboo Malt and Bumper Crop Crisp Apple Cider. A shot of some hard liquor also enticed, but I withheld.

I haven't any idea of what befell my eldest stepson, who was fairly newly risen when I first went out to sun this early afternoon, for he was not home thereafter nor ever since. His younger brother early this evening took off on his own motorbike, and later returned home safely while I was watching my show.

I think that's enough blogging for today. It is 9:19 p.m.
