My 3:30 a.m. cellphone alarm was not required, for I managed to rise some minutes beforehand to start readying for my possible ¾-mile round trip walk to the elementary school playground for some exercising there. My fully clothed weight was around 188 pounds.
Maybe I am a little over-trained, but my initial two sets of pull-ups were pathetic. Possibly some of that had to do with the discouragement of having to again wipe dry a jungle gym monkey bar to perform with.
As soon as I had gripped the bar for my first set, I could feel that a vague sheen of moisture still remained, for immediately my grip ever-so-slowly began to slip. Perhaps the slippage bordered on being insignificant, but it was nevertheless an inexorable slippage, and that of itself was discouraging.
Whatever the reason, I surrendered at just three pull-ups, and then just one in the second set. So I did two or three further sets of two pull-ups apiece before moving ahead to my usual totals in the two sets of chin-ups (3-3) and the two sets of pull-ups (2-2) on the gymnastics-style rings.
Then back on the monkey bars, I did a further set of two pull-ups between two of the bars, and then held a loose hang for something over a 50-count.
I was to find myself still limited to eight slow full-range decline push-ups on the cement ramp.
No one had been up when I left home, and no one was yet up when I got back. My eldest stepson was to have today off work.
Incidentally, he did not learn if he and his girlfriend were to be leasing an apartment last evening. He told my younger brother and I this afternoon that they will be seeing about signing it ─ a lease ─ today at 6 p.m.
Anyway, I was back to bed comfortably ahead of 6 a.m., and remained there till shortly past 8 a.m., by which time my brother was already downstairs watching T.V.
As usual, I waited until a little past 9 a.m. before going downstairs to join him, soon getting his invitation to put our Android TV Box to work.
First up was an eight-minute video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's AnitaK channel: Jon Stewart drools all over Mark Carney.
In a recent appearance on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Mark Carney who wasn't promoting anything nor did announce he was running to be Liberal Leader in Canada, did a 20 min stint on the show. Stewart lavished him time and time again with bizarre misguided praise.
That was followed with a 33-minute (33:31) video published earlier today at Rumble's TheWarAgainstYou channel: L.A. 2.0 "THE REBUILD" Is Already Underway While Fires Still Burn! The Martial Law PLAN IS Next.
Please refer to the link for the video description ─ it is far too extensive for me to care to reproduce it.
After that was a 14-minute (14:35) video published earlier today at Rumble's Redacted News channel: DEEP STATE PLAN TO DESTROY TRUMP ON DAY ONE, HIDDEN CAMERAS REVEAL | Redacted w Clayton Morris.
The Trudeau government is now being sued for the suspension of parliament, and at the same time, liberals in Canada are trying to figure out how to deal with the incoming Trump administration and the tariffs, which are about to hit President Trump doubling down on his position on these tariffs in Canada.
Although nothing indicates it, Clayton's guest was Canada's David Krayden.
Our next video well exceeded an hour (1:11:20), and had also been published earlier today to Rumble, this time its MattEhret channel: Should Canada Become the 51st State? Matt Ehret and Jackson Hinkle Discuss.
Is the proposed growth of the USA into a broader supra nation encapsulating Canada, Greenland and Central America a good thing or a bad thing? What are the historical dynamics of US efforts to take on Canada as a state and is the enlarged US territory proposed by Donald Trump simply a revival of the North American Union of 2006 or deeper North American Technate of 1933 (promoted by Elon Musk's grandfather Joshua Haldeman)? In this episode of Legitimate Targets, host Jackson Hinkle and Matt Ehret discuss all this and more.
This was practically impossible to follow due to Matt's prodigious historical education.
The last video we got at was the one only half watched yesterday, but again my brother had us terminate it shy of completion, so I won't be citing it until we are done with it. It's pretty good!
After my brother was having some bed rest, I had a relatively unappealing meal, and then was to bed for my early afternoon nap soon after my wife had emerged from her bedroom to begin readying in the bathroom for her day ─ she had it off work.
She was gone on some purpose or other when I later rose. I found my brother still home ─ this is his day to bus off to Green Timbers Pub, so he prefers not to do so too early in the afternoon. It was soon after this that we engaged my eldest stepson who had just come home from being out somewhere.
I am going to have to quiz my youngest stepson concerning his own plans with his girlfriend ─ it is best to be privy to such things well in advance.
My wife showed up fairly early into the latter afternoon, and was soon busy in the kitchen. I trust that she will be remaining home.
My left foot's plantar fasciitis (or whatever else might be wrong with it) did not much aggravate from my very early walk for the school playground exercising, so I could have gone for another short walk this evening if my wife was not home.
However, she is; and besides, I am in no financial position to do much by way of any shopping. If I am to do no shopping, then I have no motivation or incentive for a walk.
My brother often returns home quite early from Green Timbers Pub, so it is possible that we may get an early start on our T.V. viewing ─ this will be a late night for me, and I will be having at least a couple of brews during that time.
With that said and out of the way, I am going to close today's post now at 6:01 p.m. It has been a sunny day with a very chilly breeze.
