My evening is well underway, and I am quite affected with alcohol.
Last evening yesterday I made two or three bids to watch an Alicia Witt movie whilst I was engaged in some cooking, and I finally surrendered the movie because I believed that my brother had finally shown up from his daily social drinking. The movie was Hallmark-produced, so it was one I would not have found him receptive to watching.
With him home a little past mid-evening New Year's Eve, I began our entertainment with Juliet Bravo ─ it was the first season's episode two ("Fraudulently Uttered"). Quite interesting, it was.
I next tuned in Vera ─ episode three ("Salt and Vinegar") of season or series 13.
Vera especially ran long, so when I began yet a third show and saw that it was also movie-length, I demurred and tuned in a sitcom. 'Twas The Conners ─ due to a misfile, instead of season five's episode seven, damned Stremio app downloaded into our Android TV box streamed season six's episode one. I have only discovered that now, so I refuse to discuss it.
Midnight arrived during the episode. Only my brother and I were home, and he was disinclined to set foot outside at midnight, so he poured us a couple of shots apiece of Southern Comfort to quaff.
I am not positive, but maybe until then I had held myself to three cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol). However, I no longer recall my drinking regimen.
Suffice to say that ─ following a darkened living room selfie I attempted to take with my brother ─ he retired to his bedroom for the night, and I remained up because I had decided to watch what remained of the earlier movie ─ 2010's Alicia Witt in Backyard Wedding. I did this on T.V. via our Android TV Box.
I believe that I watched it at an OK.ru link, but at present here on my bedside computer I seem only able to find this VK.com link.
It was not a movie my brother would have easily watched, and only Alicia kept me tuned in, for none of the characters were idealistic ─ not even hers. But at least I got it out of the way ─ I am trying to watch most of her works.
Was I to bed by 3 a.m.? I doubt it, but I do not remember.
I could have remained up after an 8 a.m. toilet break, but I was wiped out. I returned to bed for maybe another hour. No one else was up ─ I think only my brother and youngest stepson were home. But my brother soon enough did progress forth from his bedroom and joined me downstairs, so I used our Android TV Box to tune in two of Anita Krishna's most recent videos on YouTube (I used the SmartTube app).

Then it was back to YouTube for a 28-minute (28:07) video uploaded yesterday to YouTube's Redacted channel: Oklahoma City bombing SOLVED! The shocking evidence that changes everything we were told | Redacted.
Everything you thought you knew about the Oklahoma City bombing could be wrong. Newly unearthed documents, details and first hand accounts are shining a new light on one of the largest attacks on American soil. Journalist Derrick Broze shares insights from his new multi-part documentary series.

After that it was to a previously downloaded documentary we had recently suspended for want of time. It was an hour long (59:45), and had been published November 9, 2021, to BitChute's ittabena channel: Conspiracy of Silence.
The Story of the Franklin S&L/Boys Town Paedophilia ring. Cancelled just hours before it was set to air on the Discover Channel in the US. Omaha is also the operational headquarters for the Strategic Air Command.
Thereafter we got about halfway through another documentary, but it had to be suspended so my brother could have some bed rest before busing away to engage his daily social drinking.
My wife arrived home during our early viewing, and almost directly went to bed. She had certainly been partying overnight, and slept little. She had been scheduled to work today, but was pencilled in for the latter afternoon. My brother was gone for the day by the time she rose in the early afternoon.
This flummoxed my nap plans, and so I was never to have one. And thus I hankered much of the day to commence some drinking and immerse myself into at least one Christmas movie. Learning that my wife was to be leaving for work was indeed a relief, for that would free me up to watch T.V.
It was early enough into the latter afternoon that 2018's Christmas With a Prince would be finished before 5:30 p.m. I did not expect to enjoy this movie as much as I did ─ lots of tears during it!
Lead actress Kaitlyn Leebe was essentially unknown to me, but she was a beaut! However, even though she has quite an acting pedigree, I have no recollection of having ever seen her in anything before.
In the latter morning I had spiked a coffee with a shot of Captain Morgan Dark Rum. That of course burned off and did make enduring my day difficult without further alcoholic boost.
I had actually wished that my brother was going to opt to stay home and just drink here with me, but that is never adequate for him ─ maybe he achieves adulation or some other elevation not derived in my company.
During Christmas With a Prince I drank a can of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) and another spiked coffee, and began a second can of Cariboo Malt. (I watched the movie at this OK.ru link.)
Since it was not yet quite 5:30 p.m., there was no way I could spend the remainder of the afternoon and the first half of the evening just blogging, so I opted for a second Christmas movie.
My choice was 2018's Christmas on Holly Lane. Honestly, I did not expect this movie to equal Christmas With a Prince, but I was wrong ─ it hit me even harder, I would say.
There were three lead actresses, each of whom had some vague familiarity, even though I cannot cite anything any of them may have been in that I have seen. Chances are good that previous Christmas movies were involved: Sarah Lancaster, Gina Holden, and Karen Holness. They worked so darned good together!
It was a grand movie. Unfortunately, I managed to spill over half of that second can of Cariboo Malt, so I had myself a third. I also had another spiked coffee.
And here it is 10:10 p.m. and my wife is home ahead of my brother!
I have no intention of sitting up with him. If I am insufficient for his afternoon companionship needs, he does not merit my evening. Besides, I would like to accrue some pre-day exercise overnight at the elementary school playground three or so blocks from here, so I want to get to bed reasonably early. Maybe I will set my cellphone alarm for 4 a.m.
And now I hear my brother coming into the house ─ time to shut myself up into my bedroom.
Enough blogging for today ─ it is 10:23 p.m. Damned if I am not tempted to drink further and watch something here on my bedside computer!
