Drift Homecoming

My 3 a.m. cellphone alarm was not required; I was awake earlier, finally checking the time at 2:25 a.m. and reluctantly rising then instead of wasting time abed.

I was to find everyone retired for the night ─ most welcome.

And once outside, it was dry ─ no real evidence of yesterday's light rains. Heck, even the elementary school playground equipment was perfectly dry, and I sure never expected that.

But prior to leaving home I had weighed myself dressed exactly as I would be while exercising, and I was (if I am remembering correctly) nothing less than 185 pounds. It seems to me now that I realized that I was about four pounds heavier than one week ago.

This was discouraging.

Did that reading figure into my poor opening showing for pull-ups? I could only manage five of them. Six has become expected, and I've even managed seven more than once this Summer.

Everything else was the same; so I finished up with two final sets of a single pull-up in each. Thus: two sets of pull-ups (5-2 reps); two sets of chin-ups (three in each set); two sets of pull-ups between a pair of half-rings (two reps in each); and then two further sets of pull-ups with a single rep in each.

I sucked at the dead hang that I attempted after a 30-count. I only managed an 85-count. But after another 30-count rest, I performed another dead hang for a 50-count. Only after I let go did it occur to me that I should have tried for 60.

Anyway, after a couple or so minutes I ended with the usual 10 slow full-range decline push-ups on a metal ramp.

I am still using the youngest children's playground because that of the older kids that was removed in earliest July has not yet been replaced.

For some reason I cannot remember when it was that I returned to bed. Was it as late as 6 a.m.? Whatever the case, I was back up just ahead of 8 a.m., I believe.

My younger brother was not up when 9 a.m. arrived and passed, so I assumed control of the T.V. downstairs. My wife was to emerge from her bedroom no later than 9:15 a.m., and actually showered and otherwise readied, and was away on her rather long drive for work shortly after 10 a.m. and still my brother had not emerged from his bedroom.

I had given up on him and earlier begun watching videos, four short ones of which were at YouTube's Rebel News channel and uploaded earlier today ─ clips from the September 13 "Unite the Kingdom" Tommy Robinson rally in London.

Activist and former Rebel News contributor Sammy Woodhouse details the history of abuse she suffered at the hands of migrant men during her speech at Tommy Robinson's Unite the Kingdom rally in London.

Commentator Eva Vlaardingerbroek speaks on the perils of mass immigration facing Western nations during Saturday's 'Unite the Kingdom' rally in London. "Our civilization is on the brink of destruction," she says.

Dominik Tarczyński, a member of European Parliament, backs remigration at Tommy Robinson's Unite the Kingdom rally in London.

Valentina Gomez, a Republican candidate from Texas, tells the crowd at Tommy Robinson's Unite the Kingdom rally that "England belongs to the English."

My brother finally joined me while I was watching a 57-minute (57:59) video published yesterday to Rumble's Libertytalkcanada channel: Carney Is Coming For Canadian's Guns Via Lies, Fraud, and MSM Propaganda. A Must See Interview.

An important interview with expert Rod Giltaca about the massive billion dollar FRAUD about to be unleashed on peaceful Canadian families.

Our last video was the better than an hour that remained of a 2014 movie we had broken from on Saturday: Monsters: Dark Continent.

I had previously downloaded it and was to find the dialogue audio to be impossibly low, so I had to download an audio booster software to enhance the volume.

I now do not recall my movie download source, but one possibility is this OK.ru link.

A better source to just watch the movie is this RidoMovies.tv link, but I think that even this uFLIX.to link would have been better as well.

Regardless, we were absolutely displeased with how it ended. In fact, I just now had to resort to that Wikipedia link of the title to see just how the movie supposedly ended because we had no idea what the Hell we watched take place.

I will try to remember tomorrow to explain it to my brother.

After the movie he returned to his bedroom for further rest. I fixed up a rather filling meal and ate that. I still had not sought my nap when my brother again emerged from his bedroom. It was maybe 2 p.m. when I finally did pursue a needed nap, and my brother was then downstairs watching T.V. with Bev.

He was to leave afoot for a bus to take him off to engage his daily social drinking.

The day was blue sky and sunshine, but this was a bath day for me, so I wrote off the activity of sunning ─ I just don't have the time that is required for both.

My nap was deep, and it probably took me 10 minutes to finally haul myself from bed ─ I just wanted to remain there.

I have also forgone the usual light exercising in my wife's vacant bedroom.

And now at 7:53 p.m. I hear my brother back home.

I have had a very light supper, and am now about to break from blogging to watch a couple of shows here on my bedside computer while enjoying a couple of cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol) if time allows.

🟥🟥🟥

My first choice was Rescue: HI-Surf ─ episode six ("Drift") of the only season. I am quite deep into this series, so I am glad there is quite a ways yet for me before the series is done. I wish ─ in the case of this episode ─ that there was a conclusion to the clear drama going on between "Sonny" and newbie lifeguard "Hina".

My source was this GOOJARA.to link.

My second and final show was Crisis ─ episode seven ("Homecoming") of the only season. Man, this one was truly exciting!

Regardless, I held myself to a second can of beer.

And once again, my source was a GOOJARA.to link.

I have no plans to be getting up excessively early tomorrow, for I shall not be going anywhere. The day is supposed to be unusually sunny for this month ─ I must surely get in some afternoon sunning.

I still have a few things to do ere my bedtime, so I am ending this post here for publication at 10:03 p.m.
