Today's Afternoon Arrival of Autumn

My 3 a.m. alarm definitely roused me; and when I finally left home for the ¾-mile round trip hobble to the elementary school playground for sets of pull-ups and chin-ups, I saw that my wife's car was here, so she likely was as well ─ I had not heard her last night. She was not here insofar as I know when I retired ─ was that possibly a bit past 10 p.m.?

I have for the past 10 days or even two weeks or more, taken to running a vertical fan in my bedroom anytime I go to bed at night or even for an afternoon nap because its noise helps cancel out most sounds from outside my open bedroom window, as well as those here in the house. Sometimes in the night I even fool myself into thinking that it is raining due to the sound of the fan.

Anyway, I had weighed myself just before leaving for the playground, and dressed exactly as I would be whilst exercising, I was just about 185 pounds. I didn't expect I would be that much ─ I certainly was not feeling like I was that 'heavy'.

Perhaps ─ and strangely ─ not feeling overburdened with a few more pounds than I liked was why I had a decent showing and managed an opening set of six pull-ups.

Note that I am still using the youngest kids' playground, for despite the school having been one of 25 schools from different school districts across B.C. receiving $200,000 in funding for their "inclusive" playgrounds, nothing has been done since the older kids' playground was eradicated at the start of July.

As far as I know, that is $200,000 to each of the schools.

So if the school has the money, why hasn't the new playground been installed? And what in blazes is an "inclusive" playground? Why does everything have to sound woke and DEI-tainted?

Thankfully the equipment was dry when I got there. The night was markedly cool, so an hour later it would have been damp ─ I have no doubt. After all, Fall or Autumn officially arrived today at 2:19 p.m., so mine earlier today was the last Summer visit for the year of 2025.

With the usual 30-count between sets, my repetitions were as follows: two sets of pull-ups (6-2); two sets of chin-ups (3-3); two sets of pull-ups between a pair of half-rings (2-2); and one last regular pull-up.

Then after a final 30-count of rest, I held a dead hang for a 100-count. And two or three or so minutes later, I put in 10 slow full-range decline push-ups on a nearby metal ramp.

The walk back home soon becomes a strain ─ perhaps a hip flexor strain. It's basically where the front of the leg joins the pelvis. I recently have begun doing some abdominal exercises involving repetitive raising of the legs as well as successive efforts to draw the knees towards my chin while keeping my legs from straightening out. So I think those unaccustomed variations have that region sensitive now, and the jarring, forced hobble home soon presents some trauma to the area.

I was back to bed a little ahead of 5:45 a.m., initially having trouble finding my way into sleep. As well, I was uncomfortably cool in bed ─ I was unable to warm up. Yet it was around 8:45 a.m. when next I checked the time, so I had to hustle up, correctly expecting that my brother was downstairs watching T.V.

It was well past 10 a.m. when I joined him, and he soon enough turned the T.V. over to me so that I could start up our Android TV Box.

Things were to begin with a 1⅓-hour (1:20:21) video streamed September 18 to Rumble's Vaccine Safety Research Foundation channel: Episode 195: Bronx Debate Exposes the Divide in Science.

This Thursday, join us for a special edition of VSRF Live as we speak with Dr. Pierre Kory, one of the most respected voices in health freedom and evidence-based medicine, and attorney Bobbie Anne Flower Cox, who has been at the forefront of health freedom litigation during the Covid pandemic era.

We’ll start with a post-debate debrief. Over the weekend, Dr. Kory and Steve Kirsch took the stage in New York for the first-ever public vaccine debate, facing off against “Debunk the Funk’s” Dr. Dan Wilson and YouTuber “Professor” Dave Farina. While the opposition relied on ad hominem attacks, Dr. Kory and Steve stayed focused, presenting clear data, science, and insights into vaccine safety and policy. Attorney Cox was a member of the audience and will share her perspective and insights from that vantage point. Tune in for his firsthand account—including the most revealing moments on stage and behind the scenes.

Beyond the debate, we’ll explore what Dr. Kory has been seeing in his practice, including emerging trends in patient care and the broader implications for public health. Gain an insider’s perspective on the challenges and opportunities physicians face today.

We’ll also preview the upcoming Children’s Health Defense (CHD) Conference in Austin, Texas—highlighting key topics, speakers, and discussions. Dr. Kory and Steve will both be speaking, along with Senator Rand Paul, Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Suzanne Humphries, Russell Brand, and many other distinguished guests.

This is your chance to hear directly from Dr. Kory about the future of medical freedom, the latest in vaccine science, and the ongoing fight for transparency and accountability in public health.

Unfortunately attorney Bobbie Cox had a very poor Internet / ZOOM connection and they had to drop her, so she didn't offer too much. And for the life of me, I cannot recall any details concerning a Children’s Health Defense (CHD) Conference in Austin, Texas.

When that video was done, I tuned in more than the last half ─ and this was our third sitting ─ of a very interesting video that I had downloaded back on April 21; yet I am at the source now, and it just will not play.

Regardless, I shall proceed with its description just as if it does play on the chance that it will if someone else tries the link.

The video was over 1¾ hours (1:49:29), and had been published February 5, 2022, to BitChute's ittabena channel: Shelby Foote Interviews Part 2 of 3 1990.

Part 2 of the uncut interviews with Shelby Foote for the Civil War Series

We had already previously watched Part 1, and I have Part 3 downloaded for a future viewing.

My wife had a full workday today, but never emerged from her bedroom until at least 9:40 a.m. to shower and otherwise ready herself, and then was away soon past 10 a.m. on her rather long drive.

Despite the day being sunny and me intending to get in some afternoon sunning, I never got back to bed for a needed nap until well past 1 p.m., by which time I had long eaten my day's first meal.

It was well before 2:30 p.m. when I managed to rouse and reluctantly force myself back up. My brother had long since probably finished his own bed rest, but he had not yet gone for the day to do his daily social drinking.

When he remained watching T.V. with Bev, I wanted to get my sunning begun ahead of 3 p.m.; so because I would be remaining clothed apart from merely opening my shirt, I decided to just go ahead and do it.

I doubt that it was more than five minutes later that he came forth ─ he planned on mowing the lawns after using our string wacker. And so much for any sunning today. He never came back into the house to remain until after 5 p.m.

Oh, he had taken a break after finishing the backyard lawn, watching T.V. with Bev for what seemed at least half an hour, so it was not continuous toil on his part.

But he was home to remain ─ no bus trips today to go social drinking.

Fortunately tomorrow is expected to be another sunny day, so I can get back into some sunning then.

Right now it is 5:32 p.m., so I am going to break from blogging for some exercise in my wife's vacant bedroom; then I will round up a light supper. After that is eaten, I will be watching a couple of shows here on my bedside computer to justify a couple of cans of Cariboo Malt (7.9% alcohol).

I will be back here later in the evening to close.

🞇🞇🞇

My first selection was iZombie ─ episode nine ("The Fresh Princess") of season five. It was pretty good. My source was this GOOJARA.to link.

I never seem to stop marvelling at how beautifully muscled Rose McIver's legs are.

I next watched The 100 ─ the first episode ("Sanctum") of season six. And it was yet another GOOJARA.to link for my source.

Okay, I admit that this episode eclipsed that of iZombie. So much wonder and bewildering excitement amongst the intense drama.

Whatever, it all was not enough ─ I needed a tad more drink than the two beers. So I poured a glass tumbler half full of Sommet Rouge wine (12% alcohol) and tuned in Whitney ─ episode seven ("Getting to Know You") of the first season.

That rather scrawny and rather tall young thing is so understatedly hot ─ it sure goes to show how confidence and an 'out there' attitude can work utter magic!

My source was this uFLIX.to link.

My wife arrived home soon after the episode was done, and gave me $400 ... to transfer back to her online as $500. She has at least one bill requiring payment online, she said; but she has no online resource to do so because she only got paid today less than $500 (Net) due to having been away to Thailand for approximately five weeks without pay.

Woe is me!

At least this loss of $100 on my part relieves me of having to try and schedule the nighttime two-mile round trip walk to the nearest ATM of my financial institution for a withdrawal, for I don't have $100 cash on hand.

Enough for today. It is p.m., but I do not intend to be setting my cellphone alarm for any earlier than 6 a.m. since I will not be leaving home tomorrow.

Good night.
