It was a little before 9 p.m. when my younger brother showed up last evening, so I thought it possible that we might be able to watch an episode each of two of the T.V. series we follow before I revealed that I had an early a.m. walked planned for overnight and would have to be going to bed.
Instead I was treated to my brother farting around ─ mostly in the kitchen ─ for perhaps the next half hour before he finally plopped his carcass into his favourite chair in the living room and was set for me to put our Android TV Box into action.
Consequently, all I felt that I had time to watch was one episode of Chicago PD; and with that finally watched, that was when I announced about my walk and turned the T.V. over to my brother to find whatever might interest him on its basic cable service, or my youngest stepson's Netflix account.
I now do not recall, but I would hope that it was around 10:30 p.m. by the time I put myself to bed. My cellphone alarm was set for 2:30 a.m.
Today is the worst thus far of the three days to this point that I have been suffering with a deep and phlegmatic cough, along with a somewhat 'runny' nose. No doubt, my sleep is being adversely affected.
When my alarm sounded, I immediately heard it, but I was not in any sense keen on getting up and dressing for my five-mile foray. I was tired from improper sleep.
It may have been as much as 2:47 a.m. by the time I was on my way on my partial tour of Whalley with 108th and 96th Avenues, and 132nd Street and King George Boulevard, as the rectangular boundaries of the territory I would be covering ─ the centre of that rectangular grid is roughly identified on this Google Map. I would be walking along those boundaries to various degrees, as well as some of the roads within it, until I had achieved the five miles (with possibly a wee bit extra).
But I was so darned weary at outset and for at least a mile, finding myself utterly listless and capable of only a relatively slow and plodding pace. I felt almost exhausted.
When I attempted four pull-ups early into the walk at an elementary school playground ─ the pull-ups had a 30-count between each try ─ I succeeded each time, but I was barely doing so. In my prime, I would have been able to pull myself even higher.
When I stopped at the school again near the completion of my walk, I was so stiffened and enfeebled that I was never able to pull my feet clear of the ground and had to bend my knees to allow me to at least hang for several seconds.
When I later in the morning weighed myself before having anything to eat, I stripped down until I was naked and registered as 191 / 192 pounds. I am not quite five feet and 11 inches, so at my age of 72 this is a lot of weight to be pulling up ─ and consider the added clothing I was wearing while on the walk.
I met with no incidents throughout the walk, fortunately. I was just so wickedly weary for at least the first quarter of it.
Note that all was dry; and the plastic and metal I used for my pull-ups were far from being uncomfortable to handle. But there was a fairly chilly breeze.
At one point possibly better than a mile from home, I could feel some isolated drops of rain that did manage to pepper the pavement with spots of wet, but that was ephemeral.
And I was back home and upstairs here to my computer by 4:44 a.m. My return to bed was possibly around a half hour later.
Note that my wife had come home at some point after I had first gone to bed last evening. We have separate but adjacent bedrooms, so each other's coming and goings are quite obscured.
After some more sleep following my walk, I made my first check of the time shortly after 8 a.m., but I had no desire to be getting up just then. I may have then lapsed into a short nap, and checked the time again at perhaps 8:40 a.m., at which time I then rose and dressed.
My younger brother very soon thereafter emerged from his bedroom, but I spent time here at my computer (which is in my bedroom) until 9:15 a.m. or so before going downstairs to boil water for an instant coffee and to join my brother to watch some T.V.
When he invited me to put our Android TV Box into action, I was to line us up with a couple of videos, leading off with one that was an hour and 23 minutes in duration, and uploaded to Rumble on April 30: Dr. Richard M. Fleming – Crimes Against Humanity Tour.
This is Dr. Fleming’s Fort Myers presentation at the Crimes Against Humanity Tour, produced by Concious Events Global.
My brother and I had previously watched Dr. Reiner Fuellmich's excellent presentation.
Note that I had meant to watch Dr. Fleming's presentation on BitChute (here) and not Rumble, for I had placed it on a list and indicated that it had been uploaded on May 2; but I unthinkingly just looked for the video at Rumble, and could not understand why it had an April 30 date associated with its uploading.
The second video I tuned in was uploaded to Rumble on May 5 by Liberty Coalition Canada, and was an hour and 10 minutes long: ATTENTION! NEW CASE: The Trauma of INSANE Vaccine Mandates.
On this episode Mike is joined by Liberty Coalition Canada's Chief Litigator, James Kitchen, to talk about a brand-new case taken up by the Liberty Defense Fund. Mike and James are also joined by the plaintiff in this new case, Wanh Porter, as she shares her compelling testimony of wrongful termination.
This video ought to especially appeal to the Christian-minded.
It concluded very near to noon, and I had a third video in mind. However, my brother announced instead that he was going to seek some bed rest at that point, for he would be heading out once again for his daily 'socializing'.
I had a smallish first meal of my day and then also sought a nap.
I should here mention that when I rose this morning to watch T.V. with my brother, it was raining, and has pretty much continued to do so through the afternoon.
My wife had to work a full day today at the Thai restaurant where she is employed part-time, so she rose around 9:45 a.m. to begin freshening up. She has quite a long drive, and the restaurant opens at 11 a.m.; but she left here possibly as early as 10:15 a.m. and should have ample time to arrive as scheduled.
Apart from my deep coughing being a little more serious today, I am getting an occasional piercing jab of pain at my cheekbone / jawline near my ear ─ usually the right ear.
Other than the cough (and 'runny' nose) and this occasional jabbing pain, I basically feel normal. But the whole affair is taxing, and I am not in the least looking forward to some exercising that I still have ahead of me here at home.
I wonder if I am somewhat feverish? My forehead feels cool, but my eyes
are burning a little ─ but this could just be from excessive use, for I
do have poor vision.
►►►Okay, I have actually taken a fair break that will have well exceeded an hour. In that time I underwent 15 minutes of plug-in nebulized hydrogen peroxide therapy for the benefit of my lungs and sinuses and nasal passageways.
I also had that dreaded exercise. I must say, I do not feel especially well ─ this infernal virus is not demonstrably failing one whit. I just hope that it will not manage to make even more headway.
We've had some sunny breaks in the late afternoon and early evening, so that rain did let up.
I promised my wife that I would make yet another enquiry of DHL concerning her shipment from Thailand that was first identified as undergoing a "Clearance Event" ─ supposedly at Canada Customs ─ back on April 14.
That was 28 days ago ─ or four weeks. How can this be? Are the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) deliberately being malicious?
My wife has had a few other such packages pass through what is surely the same CBSA location over the past year, and there was never a holdup before.
Anyway, I am closing this post now so that I can make that enquiry to DHL.
